Very Poor Quality Sofa Cushions which Customer Service refused to replace the inadequate collapsed cushions
I am appalled at the the terrible quality of the Aldeburgh sofa cushions and the unhelpful customer service in trying unsuccessfully to rectify this. I have never left a review before but I want to warn other customers about our experience with Sofas and Stuff.
The feather back sofa cushions arrived woefully under stuffed and unusable. We immediately informed the showroom and were told that we had mistakenly been sent ones with a 10% less fill than what we ordered (after trying them at the St Albans store). We were told that this had also happened to another customer and they would replace them with fibre fill cushions which would be firmer.
Within a the first year of using the fibre fill cushions became badly mis-shaped and unusable.They had been plumped on a daily basis and vigorously plumped when hoovered weekly as recommended. When guests were arriving I had to put towels and cushions inside the sofa cushions to make the sofa usable! This is unacceptable and not what you would expect to do within a year of light use and good care for a sofa that costs over £3000!
We reported the situation well within the guarantee time but were told that the collapse of the fibre cushion inserts would not be covered by the guarantee. I provided photos of the collapsed cushions and an engineer came to "inspect" the sofa. However, he told us that he was just paid to confirm that the cushion weight was correct, not assess the collapsed state of the product. Therefore Sofas and Stuff informed us that because the cushions were of the correct weight they would not replace them. We were asked to spend hundreds more pounds on buying replacement cushion inserts! This is not acceptable. The sofa cost over £3000 and should be usable a year after first buying!
The material is gorgeous and in great condition but the cushion inserts ruin the sofa, making it look ugly and crumpled even after plumping it well and I wish that I had never bought the sofa from this company.

Fantastic customer care and experience
All of the staff in the beautiful Cheltenham store were so helpful. We chose a sofa as well as well as some stunning fabric to make a blind. The delivery of the sofa went smoothly and Martyn and Steve were so thoughtful about the best way to take it through the house and informative about how to care for the sofa. We're delighted with both purchases.

We first visited Sofas & Stuff a few weeks ago to see what they had to offer. Having found a style we liked, we were then charmingly and very ably assisted by Dominic Wright, who proceeded to take account of each one of our preferences in order to create a truly bespoke offering that moulded our style choice into a pair of sofas that precisely fitted our requirements. From style, to size, to back height to filling material, even to the AMOUNT of filling to ensure the sofas exactly matched the level of firmness we like. Dominic also brought his experience and flair for colour and style to bear when choosing the fabric, helpfully narrowing down a dizzyingly huge range to a much more manageable selection. He even had a handy Farrow & Ball paint chart available to help us choose the right colour for the walls, and was able to recommend a nearby Upholsterer to re-cover our existing footstool to match. Sofas & Stuff furniture is far from cheap, but the quality of the products and the customer service, especially from Dominic Wright are second to none

My second gorgeous purchase from Sofas&Stuff, which I am so thrilled with (Kobe tobacco velvet sofa, lush!), was delivered today by the fabulous Jake and Martyn who were the best of the best! Not only did they set up the new sofa, but were so careful in the house as well as really thoughtful and professional. The whole sofa and stuff experience has be first class from start to finish
I spent lovely afternoon with Liberty at the Mere Green Store, who helped me choose my sofa and fabric
There was no pressure sales and everything was explained and nothing was too much trouble
The sofa is fabulous and will be going back for a foot stool once my sitting room is finished

Janet and the team in the Woodchester, Stroud show room were extremely helpful and professional when we were choosing our sofas. They provided a very personalised, bespoke service and the range of fabrics on offer is exceptionally wide. Janet also recommended a local upholsterer who was able to recover a footstool in matching fabric purchased from Sofas and Stuff. Martyn and Jake delivered the furniture on time and they were fantastic too in manoeuvring large items, placing them with care and removing all packaging. They were extremely courteous and super helpful in making sure the new items were exactly where I wanted them and offered to move existing furniture back in place once the sofas were in situ. Delivery was by a two man team, Martyn and Jake, who brought the sofa in to its location, unpacked it fully and explained the fabric care cover. Great Service
Just had a delivery of a chair , the service from David and Shane was impeccable, we were contacted beforehand, and they were both friendly and helpful on arrival, nothing was too much trouble.
We have previously bought a sofa and another chair from their Salisbury branch and again the service could not be faulted, especially from Lorraine and Elle. From the help we were given in the shop to the delivery they were fantastic to deal with and we would recommend them 100%.

Just had a new sofa delivered. Was delivered when they said they would and app means you can see exactly where the van is. David and Shane, the delivery nen were polite and efficient. Oh, and the sofa is great too.

Ordered a Pugin sofa which looks lovely in my living room. It’s quite a substantial piece of furniture. The guys who delivered it, Shane and Gary were professional, respectful and mindful of other furniture, dogs etc.
I’m a little concerned about the feather cushions which already seem to be sagging towards the middle and not super comfy. I’m used to my other upholstery being firm but squashy and this is a bit different. I can see other reviewers have had issues with cushions but I guess I’ll give it longer to see if they settle down
