Excellent service, great quality product that matched our expectations.

Sofaitalia is extremely difficult to reach by telephone. For over a year their recorded message says they are experiencing higher than normal call levels - if that is true, they need to look at staffing levels. Unfortunately, my sofa delivery date was promised and reneged upon several times and there was no co ordination with the delivery company Furdeco. The furniture was for my holiday home and the lack of a firm delivery date/ time resulted in disruption of my business.
On repeated occasions staff promised to let me know the status by close of business and didn’t get back to me resulting in yet further attempts to make contact. All things considered, a thoroughly sub standard organisation for customer service. However, the furniture is of very high quality.

I agree with other reviewers that although I hesitated to buy a sofa on the Internet that I’d never seen or sat on, the leather sample sent convinced me that the leather is good quality, and now that the sofa is here we are delighted. The customer service was responsive, and the delivery guys were friendly, professional and helpful.

I've never ordered a sofa and chairs without being able to try them out first, so, for me, this process was a bit of a gamble. Now, however, I can confirm that my Perugia leather furniture is excellent, good quality hide and well made. It was also nice to talk to the same person throughout the process, which is unusual in online shopping, and Abbie was always very quick to respond to any queries.

My only reservation has been with the delivery company. The men who delivered the items seemed totally unskilled and in a hurry. I have raised concerns directly with Furdeco, but as yet they have not responded.

Excellent value for money and Abbey was so very helpful - she sent out samples and helped with my order.

I ordered a chair and they told me when it was likely to arrive and I was kept informed. Despite the pandemic and Brexit it arrived on time. The courier delivered to my front room and kept me informed about their whereabouts en route.

The chair itself is very good quality and exactly as I wished.

This is an extremely efficient company dealing in high quality furniture.

And Abbey was extremely pleasant and helpful whenever I contacted her.

The sofa was built within the anticipated timeframe. The delivery by the transport team was very quick and efficient. And the sofa is fantastic quality and looks beautiful.

I would definitely buy from this company again - although that is likely to be many years from now as I think this sofa will last forever!

The whole buying experience so far has been excellent. Nothing has been too much trouble for Abbey dealing with all our questions and all queries have been responded to rapidly.

I am happy with the customer service to-date. The customer service advisor, Abbey, was polite, friendly and informative. Talking me through the finance and delivery options, making me assured the buying process is setup for success. I hope the eventual delivery and product follow suit.

I ordered the 3 seater Evita in March, expecting to move into my new home in July. Abbey was very helpful, extending the offer for a few days while we decided on the colour and fabric.
Unfortunately, there were problems with the house and Sofaitalia had to keep it in the warehouse for five months, which did not cause an issue.
When I finally moved in they organised delivery on the day requested and kept us informed regarding time. The delivery drivers were very efficient and despite our entrance being quite narrow they bought it through the back.
The sofa is perfect, stylish, well made and lovely quality leather, exactly what we wanted.
Sofaitalia are fantastic, helpful, efficient and with excellent products at a really good price. Highly recommended.

Having not seen the sofas before hand, we read up on the reviews and went for it. So pleased we did.

I received my sofa during the Covid crisis and because of this both items were left in my front garden. As the delivery drivers left I then went outside.
The 3 seater had a puncture in the packaging which was exactly the same size and shape as the coping stones on the top of my garden wall.
Upon removal of the packaging I found two holes in the leather.
Photos were sent to Sofa Italia 5 mins after I took delivery. I was advised by email that the pictures would be sent to the Italian manufacturer to check that the holes in my sofa weren't natural markings! This would lead you to assume that the factory do in fact send out furniture with holes.
My sofa is lovely, would i risk putting myself through the stress of dealing with Sofa Italia again...absolutely not.

I left my previous review below but here is an update;

My sofa turned out to be problematic thankfully i purchased the insurance and therefore they have agreed to replace the faulty parts. It took months for the parts to arrive and these guys didnt even put their act together to send the technician to do the repair, now i have lots of bulky stuff in my flat for 3 weeks for someone to come and repair the sofa.
Bottom line is, good sofa and good fabric, they are nice and quick to sell you a sofa but their after sales customer service is appalling. There seem to be a bad communication between the factory in italy and the sales department in UK.
Don't waste your time and money with this company, there are many other companies that sell same quality sofas with the same money and much better customer service. It is a shame really.

It is often stressful to order an expensive sofa online without trying it first. I knew this will be an excellent sofa from the day I received the samples. The quality of the fabric they sent was great. Abbey was extremely helpful throughout the process. It took a while for my sofa to arrive but it did yesterday and i was pleasantly surprised! The sofa looks stunning and the fabric feels amazing. The best part it is super comfy. I highly recommend this company.

Sofaitalia deliverd on quality and expectation. Very pleased with my sofa and customer service is brilliant. Abbey smoothed the way for a second attempt at delivery which was not a good experience, Also haven't had my guarantees yet after 3 weeks.
