I purchased 2 Essential sweaters on May 18th and I still haven’t received anything. I have emailed them multiple times, I have also DMed on Instagram (which they have disabled comments on there posts) and still haven’t received a reply. I am furious!!! Don’t purchase anything from them, clearly there is something fishy going on.

Purchased an Essentials hoodie on 23 May in the Chadstone shop in Melbourne and it is now 30 June and the item still has not arrived at my house. I have contacted them via DM on IG and received a generic "we apologize for the delay and ensure that stock is arriving" answer.
I've noticed they've disabled comments on their IG posts...probably so that the hordes of unhappy customers can't go on their page to say how sh_t this company is.

I asked you to wait until March due to Corona issue, but it didn't come until April.
I applied for a refund if I wanted to get a refund, but I still haven't gotten a refund after 10 trading days.

Been waiting for my order
I have been told that my order (319052) was going to be dispatched from their Melbourne store.
Up untill now I still haven't got any updates and the status till states thag it's on "Backorder". This has to be the biggest joke. I have never had to follow up this much. If I do ever get a response, it's a generic one. It's been a month since I ordered and I got nothing. Worst experience I have ever had with a retailer. I would give no stars if I could.

6 weeks and the order still isn't sent - it isn't the first time either
Six weeks after ordering an ESSENTIALS product and the order still hasn't even been shipped. This is really pathetic - it shows the company doesn't care about its customers because they are willing to take orders they know they can't fulfill (at least in an acceptable timeframe). I've literally had products arrive from the US in half the time.
Last year I ordered a hoodie which I did eventually get, but it took like 6-8 weeks to arrive. Being that this is the second time I've had this kind of experience, I won't be back. I have sent two emails over the last six weeks and they don't bother to respond.
Don't bother tagging a response to this review saying 'we missed the mark, we care, blah blah blah.' Just send everyone their order or at least respond to our emails. Give people in Melbourne the option to pick up their order in person. Seriously it isn't that hard - you aren't even doing the bare minimum.

I have had two bad experiences - very poor service
I have had two bad experiences with this company, I am also wondering if they have actually gone bust not into receivership. I know the Sydney shop has been repossessed as I went past and there was a notice on the door. If they have gone bust why are they still sending out emails with sales and other drops. It should be illegal for them to operate if their only intention is to take peoples money without delivery of goods.
I find it really amazing that they are able to carry on trading if this is the case.
All I can see is excuse after excuse and the same random grovelling apology repeated to customers below. It’s not acceptable - Sneakerboy “ you should be utterly ashamed of yourself as a company to operate like this”.
I suggest stop advertising and sending out new release and sale emails if you can’t honour your backlog of orders.
It’s absolutely disgraceful

Essentials on back order apparently
I ordered the recent Essentials drop, it’s been almost two weeks and I still haven’t gotten an update from them. I’ve tried calling to no avail. From the reviews below it appears I’m not the only one, all my other experiences with Sneakerboy have been fine. I’m not sure what to do as they’re not even responding to emails.

These guys are scammers, it’s been over a month since I placed my order. Received shipping email on 16th June, still awaiting pick up. These guys back door sneaker releases and heck even lost their YEEZY account, I wonder why. They’re apparently in receivership. Not too sure how they’re still operating in Melbourne as their store in Sydney has shut due to not paying their bills. Customer service will always make a company a good company and that is heavily HEAVILY missing with these guys.

I hope I receive my order this year. Horrendous service
Made my order (order number: 319764) on the 27th of May. Received an email saying it’s ‘on the way’ on the 17th. Up to today it still hasn’t been picked up by a courier (meaning they still haven’t released the order). This has to be the worst retail organisation ever. How they still operate baffles me. Where is my order?!? I’ve waited patiently but it’s approaching a month and still nothing. I sent an email yesterday and still no response. This is ridiculous. If I could give negative stars I would.

I still haven’t received any items from Sneakerboy. (It’s now been a month since ordering my items)
Luckily I paid with Afterpay and their disputes team have been dealing directly with this business, and part of the order was cancelled as it was never disclosed that it would be a backordered item.
I have been told through Afterpay that part of the item would be sent. Hahaha
It will be two weeks on Saturday that a consignment note was created but to date there has been no movement with the parcel (Toll has also confirmed this)
As there is no way humanly possible that anyone at Sneakerboy is available to assist or cares about the situation. I have requested Afterpay to cancel the entire order.
Don’t be fooled by the replies to these reviews from this Sneakerboy claiming to assist or that their policy states etc etc. My entire experience has been harrowing and infringes on retail consumer laws and legislations in Australia. To which I have lodged documentation with DOCEP.
Buyers please be aware!
I will never order or purchase an item from this business.

So Frustrated! i ordered items thats shows available on May 17 (order 318029). after fews later, status shows backorder. why would an available stock be on backorder???
now, it has been despatched on 17 June and until now its still floating somewhere.

Been waiting for a pair of shoes since november. No information or anything about it. I made the mistake of refunding the purchase and when I saw the shoes went back up for sale, that they had actually got them in stock. I've emailed several times trying to get a refund again, with no answer. I've filed a claim with the ACCC under the grounds of the Australian Consumer Law stating that goods cannot be sold without the products being able to be provided within a reasonable timeframe. I've also initiated a chargeback through my bank. They also mark deliveries as "sent" but don't actually book a pickup time with the courier. Just don't do it.
Update:
It's all well and good that you can respond to a public review but at this point I just want a refund and nobody has answered any questions or enquiries, also, the order isn't even marked for pickup yet. You guys have created a postage label but nothing else, and claiming otherwise is also illegal, which will be added to my claim to the ACCC

Really Upsetting Experience (Order #319633)
This has been a really upsetting experience - I ordered my first ever ‘designer’ item one month ago after a friend recommended Sneakerboy to me. I now realise that I have been scammed - no reply to my emails seeking a refund, no update as to my order status, and I am out of pocket hundreds of dollars. As a student, this is really, truly heart-breaking. Just posting this to spread awareness for others really.

Absolutely horrified at my experience with Sneakerboy! I have emailed them, phoned and Instagram dm’d them on a number of occasions and have received zero responses although they ask for a 48 hour (5 days for email) turnover. I will be taking this to consumer affairs and will be filling a complaint! Placed my order weeks ago (order 322484) and have not received any notice of my order. I will not be shopping again and will be taking this further!

Just another frustrated customer who made a purchase over a month ago and still hasn't received it.
A few points;
1. I wasn't told it was on backorder when I purchased. If you don't have the stock, don't 'sell' it.
2. You haven't responded to numerous emails asking for updates.
3. You changed my order status to 'shipped' on June 10, which is certainly not the case as nothing was picked up from your warehouse. You are simply deflecting to your shipping company when you are at fault.
Please do not ask me to email you, as you don't respond to emails.
Also please do not tell me the warehouse is too busy to ship my order. You don't have my stock that you 'sold' me.
Grubby business. I will never shop with you ever again.

If I could leave zero rating I would. Poor customer service, never respond to emails or instagram message after several attempts.
Place order on the 18/5, been over a month and no order received! Order says shipped but doesn’t go through the process of courier picking package up.
Poor business, I suggest everyone be careful purchasing from this company! I will filing consumer affairs complaints and ACCC, they shouldn’t be trading at all.
