It didn’t start well as I was brought a bag to try by my mother in law from a local shop and it was horrible and no crunch, I complained and got a A.I standard response that they where sorry but nothing they could do! Then a human came along and offered me to try again but I had to pay for delivery, so I gave them another chance and the new bag was excellent and very nice!

So, I understand that some batches are different and the use of A.I is cost saving however I hope this company doesn’t forget that being human and offering to rectify mistakes works as I will now be a regular customer!

They taste like plastic. I'm 55 and remember what pork scratchings should taste like. There's the odd 1 that is palettable the rest taste like s#!t.

Customer service with a human unfortunately seems non-existent, and I have not received my order. Admittedly, the error starts with me as I realised as soon as I pressed the Submit button on my order (on 6th Aug), that the delivery address was an old address, BUT I replied to the order confirmation email straight away to ask if it could be changed and I supplied the correct address. I also headed to their web chat and did the same. Both methods just give automated responses. I looked on their Contact page for a phone number so I could get it sorted, but there isn't one. I then received a despatch notification the next day (7th Aug), to which I replied to. I have no idea if the reply I got (on 8th Aug) was from a human or automated - it was signed off by "Partners in Swine Liason" (all very funny if you're not trying to fix a problem you have). The reply said I could "try refusing the package upon delivery". I asked how this could be done if I don't live at the property anymore, and detailed my frustration about the whole situation, and have still not had a response - except for a review request email, so here I am, on 20th August.

To add to this, I received an email from Evri to say it had been delivered to my old address, however I got in touch with a friend who lives in the area of my old address to see if they could pick it up, and when they went to ask, the resident said they returned the parcel to the driver as they didn't recognise the name. So I can only presume Snaffling Pig have had it returned, or the delivery driver is tucking into a big box of pork scratchings (that was a gift for my husband).

It's a shame, as I've placed many orders with the company in the past, and we have loved the products, but I'm not in a hurry to give their computer systems any more money to fuel the lack of customer care. Just having a phone number available (with humans on the receiving end), could have made all the difference to my order.

Loved the email to say my package had been dispatched. It made me stop and take note whilst also giving me a chuckle. The hamper was well packaged and arrived quickly. My husband loved the contents (brought for his birthday present). Will certainly purchase again.

Great products and great quick delivery

Flavours and textures not as expected. I purchased a "Piggin selection hamper" and a box of 12 salt and vinegar pork crackling packets. The flavours were not as I would expect them to be if eating potato crisps. The textures of the crackling pieces contained very hard parts, unable to bite through, and soft parts on the same piece.
I won't be buying again.

Always enjoy these scratchings,and merchandise,excellent prompt reliable delivery,never in doubt.

I was told I would have a response from a human on 18 June. I have followed it up three times and still nothing. There is nothing in my spam/junk folder either. When can I expect to receive a response?

I've purchased Snaffling Pig products many times before, mostly from farm shops. I recently made the mistake from buying from their website. They sent the parcel out with EVRI. I have an ongoing issue with the Evri courier for our area as she either doesn't deliver our parcels or leaves them in ridiculous places. As is standard, the parcel hasn't arrived. I've complained to EVRI but also contacted Snaffling Pig to ask for assistance. I have now sent three messages. All I get it an AI response. One said that a member of the team would get back to me. I've received nothing. I then requested a refund.. again AI steps in and sends a message..I have to return the parcel for a refund. The parcel I don't have. I won't be purchasing from them again. Regardless of if I like their products or not I won't be supporting a company who has no regard for their customers.

Useless customer service: They can't provide any spare parts for their barbecue for basic parts that wear out e.g. felt like seal on opening which had degraded and charcoal grate which had split with heat over several years of use. They said it wasnt worth them carrxing any spares, instead the tried to sell me a whole new barbecue for £50 off, when all I need was some basic parts wgich eventually I found generic parts for on ebay for a tenth of the price of a new barbecue..Their bbq is fine, their attitude to customers is poor.

Bought perfectly salted pork scratchings and I wasn't expecting the tastiest pork scratchings ever,I only wished I brought more as I've purchased scratchings in the past and the claims were the usual were a family run business and all that polava and it's all fat and there horrible so I avoid buying scratchings,but yours caught my eye so I'm in Tesco's normally it's Waitrose cos I work there and when I got home I was putting the bits and bobs away and thought I give your scratching s a shot and well they are perfect a little bit of fat just enough and I finished the bag none went in the bin they were gorgeous so that's it perfect scratchings the best ever thank you
