From start to finish the customer service was excellent. Communication was quick and everything was smooth. Even when I couldn’t make the appointment they managed to get me the next day. Very happy overall.

Went to u-pick-it today at Silverlake for the first time. All staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful. I found the part I wanted easily in the yard and paid a fair price for it. It's already fitted and working in my Mum's car. Recommended.

Very professional service. Car was removed and the money was paid into my account the next day . Lovely experience with both the gentleman on the phone and the recovery driver who were very helpful and polite.

Terrible customer service and very disappointing in the way they deal with their customers.

Won a car in auction on Friday afternoon. First thing Monday morning I called to arrange Pick up and ultimately I wasn’t satisfied with the way customer services handled my query and responded towards me. Having read reviews online beforehand I wasn’t surprised.

Moving forward I Informed the person whom I spoke with that I will make the payment which was £11976 the next day and I will collect the vehicle the following day and everything was done.

As I was making the payment the following day I realised they had suspended my account. Got in touch with their customer support team once again and they didn’t provide me with a solution and started putting the blame on me for which I had previously spoken to customer service to arrange the date of payment and pick up.

I explained everything to Wayne that I have purchased a Vehicle for £11976 and I would like to make a payment but he insisted that I pay £30 extra late payment or they will close my account.

Im shocked and disappointed as a business owner my self that they are happy to lose a customer for life and damage their reputation for £30 when I’m happy to spend nearly £12000 in one purchase and it’s not even my fault. For me the £30 is not the issue, it’s the principal behind it where I feel I have been treated incorrectly for a late payment I was ready to pay as scheduled anyway. As a result, I’m very disappointed and I’m happy not to buy ever again business and get my account closed.

All they think about it money I’m happy for them to close my account I won’t like to do business with them ever again.

I’ve just purchased a second hand Toyota GT86 wheel. I phoned on the morning to check the wheel was still there before I collected it. The wheel was still there, so I said the website price is £89.99, with the £10 surcharge for old wheel, it would be £79.99, yes he said.
I then said, would you be able to swap the tyre over, he said yes, will do that for free.
Great, so, I went to get the wheel. Arrived, went to pay for it, was then told it was £103, I said on the website it’s 89.99.
The chap there said, with the surcharge it would be £89.99, which doesn’t add up.
Also, I was charged £13 to re-fit the tyre.
So, why say over the phone they can do that for free.
Anyway, total was £102.99. I paid it and left.

What I would like to now is. if the wheel is advertised at £89.99, less the £10 surcharge for old wheel plus £13 tyre fitting = £92.99. Then why was I not charged that.
It’s obvious to me the price was inflated by exactly £10 so they would get that back when I paid to cover the surcharge.
I look forward to an explanation as to why this was.
At least I don’t need to dispose of the wheel my self, but never the less, I think this is under handed to say the least.

I’m shocked by their customer service management, I called to raise a complain about a hidden damaged to vehicles by not taking photo showing how bad which takes only one extra second. They replied to they don’t have to because this how they catch silly people like me (pointed by person was over phone)
Two doors vehicle damaged on driver side door and structure rear wheel arch which showing that in photo not the post behind door which takes a second to open door and take photo they replied to me they don’t have a time to do that however driver needs to open that door to park it away.
Second car was water pump poring a water and timing chain noise and driver seat been damaged by dog which is wasn’t in photo advert and they said my responsibility to check car before bidding how if they misled photo and description.
Please be aware of that when you place a bid through SilverLake Southampton.

Called couple days before to get 4x17" alloys for my car I put down a deposit for security and was told I would get the alloys fitted. After driving for 1hr 50mins, paid the full £355 and waited for about 50mins I was told they couldn't find one of the alloys after I made a DEPOSIT!! The guy came and broke the news and just left without any further explanation!! Absolutely disgusting

Front desk really helpful and friendly. Was assisted ater by Stuart who could not have been more accommodating and helpful, fab service received

I would just like to say thank you to one of your very kind colleagues who stopped to help me change a tyre at the side of a busy road. A simple act of kindness that saved me hours of waiting for recovery. Thank you so much.

Initially very good service, lady dealt very well will enquiry and arranged collection for Friday 18th august. After this initial contact I,m afraid that was the start of what I can only describe as the worst service I have had. Called Saturday morning to report no one had collected car the day before as discussed and was transferred to “the team” I remained on hold for over 45 minutes and hung up and called office again. Answered by an extremely rude man, who told me that “the team”had just gone home, no one else could help me and that’s it until Monday, no apology nothing. His tone was very, very rude, and when I asked for his name he refused and hung up on me. I had already been on hold for 45 minutes to “the team” that THEY had put me through to after THEY broke their appointment without a call. Obviously don’t value their customers or care about service. This is not good enough. Appalling service and so, so rude.

Carlo vaccaro was fantastic and assisted my dad at the side of the road when someone bumped into him. Very friendly and very helpful!

Such friendly,helpful,polite and professional staff. Nothing seems to much trouble for them and they will go out of their way to help you if they can.

(I have given two stars because purchase was easy but return was a nightmare.)
Purchased two wheels from Silverlake via their ebay store.. Unfortunately they did not fit my astra so had to return them, and this is where the problems began.. They were returned in their original Silverlake boxes by DPD, they were correctly labeled and collected by DPD.. Silverlake said that they only received one box, ie one wheel back!!
We supplied pictures of the correctly labeled boxes and pictures of both boxes at their returns entrance in Botley Road, Southampton, and the name of the person who received both boxes... YET UNBELIEVABLY They Insisted despite the photographic evidence that only one box had been received.. and would only refund ONE returned wheel of £50.00 ... Despite the evidence supplied they continued to deny receiving both boxes but confirmed the picture showed them both at their depot..Terrible Customer Service...

EBAY were extremely helpful and found in our favour that indisputable photographic evidence had been provided and issued a full refund.

So to sum up to buy from this company is fine as items are well packaged and arrive in good time..

HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE TO RETURN AN ITEM FOR REFUND YOU COULD WELL HAVE A FIGHT ON YOUR HANDS...AS WE DID.. OUR EXPERIENCE WAS TOTALLY AWFUL.
