I've been a member of SFF for several years and love the variety of offers and types of events they have tickets for.

Have been to several theatre shows and all has worked well. Sometimes a bit tricky to book but worth the extra effort. Always managed to get good seats. Great value for what I paid.

An exceptional event: the jazz musicians were phenomenal and the hosts poetry reading was so engaging. Simply brilliant! So unexpected but re-ignited a love of Welsh poetry.

Well worth a look.

SFF is by far the best club that I belong to. It has opened a whole new world of performance from Rock bands to musicals to theatre plays to contemporary dance. My social life is buzzing! Thank you, SFF.

ShowFilmFirst gives you the opportunity to experience the arts in various forms at a fraction of the cost. I love the last minute events that I have been able to attend that I would not normally have considered on my limited budget. Never been disappointed and often unexpectedly overjoyed.

Membership is free and really rewarding!
It gives great access to many events and saved us a lot of money..
It has also introduced us to a new venues and genres.
Booking reminders 24 hours before the event as spot on.

I would like to start off by saying I’ve been a member for a long time and had some of the best experiences and met the loveliest staff. Also my events have usually been straight forward without any issues.

Unfortunately on my recent visit to a venue I was underprepared because there was not enough information when booking regarding what bag I can take. I took a normal size backpack that was half empty but was stopped and told to put it in a hold for £10. When challenged they said I should have know in the T&Cs when booking the ticket. As I have got them through this website, there is no way for me to have known as it was my first time there and I had not booked directly. It would have been considerate for show films first to compensate the charge considering it wasn’t a case of me ignoring the rules on purpose. Had I known I would have brought something more appropriate.

Edit: Thank you for getting back to me so quickly and offering a refund. Adding the venue bag polices will be super helpful, so that’s greatly appreciated.

Audience engagement was great , you close your eyes and you would think it was the Carpenters. Great voices and musicians.
