Note to readers 03/08/25: Shepr aggressively attempts to remove any negative reviews. They have attempted to remove this review 5 times so far.
Unfortunately they are far less vigorous when having to carry out the service they are paid for.

This is a (censored by Shepr) business currently being investigated by the (censored by Shepr) .

Shepr lost my property and did their utmost to fob me off when I wanted my property back or the insurance paid out that I had also paid for.
They have ignored me for over 2 months now.
They have no working phones, which initially was explained by their system being upgraded. However it is not possible to contact Shepr via phone for the entire period of this travesty.

To add insult to injury they have now also send me a bill for overweight penalties for the items they have not delivered.
The absurdity is unending.

If you have any doubt about this company being fraudulent - try calling their phone lines.

I am sorry that you weren't successful in censoring and getting my review removed as I can see you tried.

I can see that you are very confused about the whole sequence of events and I think it would be better if you stuck to the truth:
You have lost a piece of my property that I have paid you to transport and to insure. After trying to get you to recognise this for two months there was no progress and your team of _name redacted by Shepr_ and _name redacted by Shepr_ were unwilling to help in any way other than to continuously try and fob my off with more and more outlandish explanations.

I am also sorry that you apparently think that you have contacted me over the phone several times.
I am afraid that is not the case.
Your phones are permanently out of service due to being "upgraded" as you told me.
After requesting a call back over 10 times I finally got a response.

It is sad that you didn't want to help me before I told you that the case would be referred to the police and your conduct made public here.

I am hoping you will now rectify the atrocious service you have delivered and resolve the case.

Please don't attempt to remove my review again or post further fictitious accounts of how you have behaved.
I have saved all the emails I have send you, so there is no point in you trying to cover up what you have done.
The paper trail is there I am afraid.

I look forward to receiving a professional service going foraward.
Since you have now finally replied, I hope this sad situation is down to incompetance rather than fraud. However, until I see some long overdue progress and professional treatment, that will remain a question mark I am afraid.
Secondly the penalty fees you send me for oversized and overweight items are based on purely factious claims and I again am sorry to let you know that I have photo documentation to prove this. What you want to call this kind of behaviour from you side I will leave open.

Thank you again for taking the time to leave feedback. I'd like to begin by stating your previous review was removed by Trustpilot for breaching their code of conduct. Unfortunately, it was flagged numerous times for different violations of Trustpilot's code which ultimately led to its removal, rather than Sherpr simply trying to have your review removed five times. In order to keep a review online, it must not breach their guidelines in terms of defamation, personal information and libel, all of which are taken very seriously.

Again, I'm incredibly sorry to hear that your experience was less than satisfactory, however we do not recognise the claims made here.
You claim Sherpr has ignored you for over two months, yet the last recorded communication with yourself was on August 4th when we asked you for your claim details. Before this, it was 29th July and there is a lengthy history of communication between yourself and Sherpr.

You also claimed that our phone lines are unaccessible, and that this means our business is fraudulent - we have spoken to you over the phone several times, and can be contacted during working hours on the phone numbers listed on our website as well as the email address provided.

With regards to the recharge issued to you, this was done in line with our terms and conditions due to weights and dimensions being larger than those submitted at the time of booking. These terms and conditions are clear and available on our website, and must be agreed to at the time of booking, before payment. We explained the reason for the recharge issued to you and indeed promised we would look into this with the courier for you.

You have continually claimed Sherpr is not attempting to help you, and stated that we have "fobbed you off" regarding the insurance you have paid for. Again, this is not the case. Sherpr informed you that the search for your lost property was unsuccessful and had moved this to a claim for you, informing you of what was required to submit said claim. As of today, we are still yet to receive any information from you regarding your claim, hindering us from moving forward and stalling the process.

Again, we sincerely apologise for the frustration and the issues involved with your shipment, however our phone lines are indeed accessible and in working order, and we vehemently refute any association with "fraud." We are still committed to pursuing a claim for you, and would greatly appreciate if you could return the information required to proceed with this, so we can indeed resolve the outstanding issues for you.

Our experience with Sherpr was great-…

Our experience with Sherpr was great- they really made the whole moving process hassle-free and convenient for us. Even though our shipment got stuck in customs, they guided us and and were extremely helpful and helped sort everything out. Kudos to Joe and Marie for their excellent communication and dedicated responsiveness throughout the process.

Better and quicker than expected

I was very pleased with their service. They called me before I finished the process of filing out the form to make sure I was not having any problems and even gave me a discount. Support all the way through and I got my luggage’s earlier than expected. Overall it was very easy and I highly recommend their service.

Really great experience

Really great experience . I sent a package from France to Uk and it went super smoothly. If you have a question , they reply super fast to your email . So yes , totally worthy. Would use them again for sure 👍

Fast and safe

Fast and safe! Highly recommend this service. The booking was easy, I had to change the pick up address from my Airbnb to a hotel and they responded pretty fast. My luggage was picked up and arrived on time. For sure will use this luggage delivery service in the future.

Courier booking service- and didn't even book my courier.

I had a Sherpr order with Lovespace and was meant to ship my things from Dublin to the UK. I used the webchat service multiple times prior to my order to ensure that there would be no mix-up with my orders and that things would run smoothly. Not only did Sherpr not book the collection of my items on the agreed date with DHL, they failed to book a new collection for a whole week. Every time I communicated with them, they gave me false promises that it would be picked up the next day and assured me that they did not need anything else from my end. The same thing happened to a friend who used the same service, and no compensation was ever given to us. I am so incredibly disappointed with the service, would not recommend using it.

Amazing service

Amazing service , the pickup folks which came to my door tore my boxes (they were from DHL) , But sharper guaranteed a good quality and made them take extra care of the package and it came all re packaged.

Would use Sherpr again! <3

Wonderful experience! I needed to send two suitcases from France to the UK and I was able to do it easily enough with Sherpr. The only thing that bothered me was that I couldn't see any info about needing to fill out a customs form until AFTER I'd paid for shipping (I feel like this should've been made abundantly clear prior to paying) but as long as you anticipate that and note your items down as you pack them away, it's all good (I did not, so I had to spend about 2 hours unpacking, noting and repacking item by item...).

note that there is also a limit of a value of £850 for used clothes.

The process went smoothly. Customer service was responsive and I received updates every step of the way, including when my suitcases got held up in customs.

It was my first time ever doing something like this. I was really scared of them losing my luggage, but they give you a slip to put inside of the suitcase as well as the plastic wallets on the outside, so even if the plastic wallet comes off, they can look inside and use the slip to reunite you with your luggage. I included trackers in both of my suitcases for my own peace of mind, but it wasn't necessary. Everything went really smoothly. I would use sherpr again! Saved my life after I went overboard shopping in France & had no idea how I'd get it all back in one trip. Thank you :)

All round excellent service

Unlike previous experiences shipping possessions as part of a house move internationally, which had been a nightmare, the experience with Sherpr was excellent. The price was very competitive, and much lower than many alternatives. And the availability of our point of contact, Marie, to help, from the process of quoting through customs queries, through to questions the receipt of the shipment at the destination was excellent. I would definitely use them again.

Great Service

I was a bit dubious about sending my luggage away at first but the service was superb. Fast, professional and efficient. Perhaps an indication of collection time (i.e. morning or afternoon) would be helpful but delivery time was spot on. Would thoroughly recommend.

Beware of the tricky policies and terms…

Beware of the tricky policies and terms & conditions and hidden costs when sending items to other countries. The company does not warn properly about costs like customs. When I learned about these, I wanted to cancel my shipment, I got a credit I do not plan to use instead of my funds and the usual vague answers about these are our T&C

Edit based on the answer by the company. Customer support clearly does not read cases (e.g. I was not sending items to France)

I've looked into your order and through the comms with our customer service team and can see you were not told you had customs fees to pay, just that you were required to fill in customs information for your shipment from the UK to EU, which is a standard requirement since Brexit.

You decided to select our Flexi cover, which states that cancellations would be credited. Our Super Flexi cover allows for cancellations and refunds. This is also made clear in our FAQs and our terms and conditions, which are readily available on our website and must be confirmed and agreed to at the time of booking, before making payment.

I do apologise for the disappointment here and wish you all the best.

BAGGAGE NEVER DELIVERED: AVOID THIS SHIPPING COMPANY

This is the worst shipping company I have ever experienced. I shipped bag/s + boxes from UK to Switzerland. One of the bags was lost and never delivered.

Initially, their argument was usually none of our bags get lost in transit and this is extremely rare thing to happen. I wonder what I have to do with this. Then they said they will try to get £100 in compensation and I have to provide receipts of all the items. Its very unlikely the people keep receipts of all used items. However, I provided receipts of items worth more than £100 to them.

Then their reply was we have escalated this issue to the claims department and we are checking with the courier (Fedex in this case) to see if they can track the baggage. After that, no reply and total silence. When I checked what's the status of the baggage and compensation for lost baggage, they didn't bother to reply.

This is the summary of experience so far:
1) I paid total shipping cost of my bag
2) Bag wasn't delivered on time
3) Then they said bag was lost; they will see if I can be compensated £100 if I provide receipts
4) I provided receipts worth more than £100
5) Then they said they have escalated the issue to the claims department and have followed up with the courier
6) After that no reply or update about the status of the lost bag or claim

So, you pay for your shipping, they lose the bag, claim it's rare for a baggage to be lost in transit and don't pay any penalty/compensation.

This is the most unethical shipping company I have seen who lacks any business ethics with extremely poor customer service. On top of that, the arrogance of the staff is quite baffling.

If you want your baggage to be delivered properly, avoid this company at all cost!

-- Their customer service doesn't reply to emails on lost bags and compensation, however they are prompt in flagging a review

I'm so sorry one of your items was indeed classed as lost, and can verify this is a rarity. However I have looked through your order and all communications associated with this, and don't recognise your claims of unethical practice, silence from Sherpr nor non processing of your claim.

I can see your order for 12 items from the UK to Switzerland was collected on June 19th and 11 items were delivered to you, with one being classed as lost. Sherpr provides two sets of labels for all shipments and we clearly direct our customers to place one on the external packaging and place the duplicate on top of the last item packed inside your shipment, this is so that the courier can still forward the item onward should the external label detach - I can see you placed both on the external packaging of each item which unfortunately may hinder the courier in their search.

Upon initial contact, we advised we had ordered Fedex to perform another search for your item, and if this did not return any success this would proceed to a claim. When booking your order, you chose not to add any insurance on to your shipment and accepted the standard £100 complimentary insurance Sherpr provides as a default to all orders. Unfortunately, despite providing receipts exceeding this value, Sherpr is limited to the £100 insurance you confirmed at the time of booking as per terms and conditions.

We responded to your email providing information on 25th, 26th and 30th June. We then informed you of the claim process on 1st July and once you provided the required information I can see several further emails.
We have tried to contact you since then on a number of occasions via phone, the last attempt being yesterday at 1pm and 1:39pm, however we have been unable to reach you.

With regards to your initial review, this was flagged due to defamatory content which did not align with Trustpilot's code of conduct, not Sherpr.

Again, I sincerely apologise for the loss of one of your items, and your claim has been actioned. Our claims team will be in contact.

Successful shipping Netherlands - USA

Very patient and friendly people who assured me everything was possible and would be fine. Personal approach what I liked, with a really fast response time if I had a question. I also needed to reschedule and that was not a problem at all. When a part of delivery wasn’t with the rest when it was delivered, I didn’t even had to call or email them. Before I knew they had send me an email with information that it was not with delivery, but that they where on it! The next working day the missing part was delivered. I can recommend them to everyone who needs to do an international shipping. Thank you so much Joana and Marie for making this a great experience in a lot of immigration stress!

Great experience.

I needed some personal items delivered back to South Africa from the US and Sherpr were amazing. They were the most reasonable option and their communication was great. I knew where my package was at all times and they helped me clear it through customs easily. My things were delivered in great condition. Even with a slight delay, I received my goods in great time. I would highly recommend them for your shipping needs.
