Appalling service

Appalling service, finally got a refund and even that wasn't straightforward. If anyone wants to contact them as they don't answer emails and you can never contact deliveries or customer services on phone, try Facebook messenger. Strange way to run a business! That was the way I finally got a response. My advice to anyone thinking of buying off them is DON'T.

DO NOT BUY FROM SHEDSWAREHOUSE How on earth is this company still…

How on earth is this company still being allowed to advertise and steal peoples money. The website is nothing but a fraudulent way of conning people, same as me, into buying a product which is shown as in stock and an acceptable delivery date which is why we brought from them. Now having by chance read the reviews here purely because they sent us a text message delaying the delivery date by three months.

Legal action needs to be taken against this company asap and the people sent to jail permanently.

I Cannot believe so many lives have been torn apart by this company and that they are still trading.

Their replies to questions raised is sole destroying and illegal it seems.

SCAM Company do not buy from this site.

SCAM Company do not buy. Money taken for shed early August and still not received it.. Multiple email send but no reply. Trading Standards and Watchdog will be hearing from me.

Absolutely disgraceful to be scammed during the pandemic.

Just purchased a shed on the 22nd of…

Just purchased a shed on the 22nd of aug, an really wish I hadnt, I didn't read the reviews stupid I know!! But after trying to log on today to check the status of my order, the google search bar had a warning triangle, so I clicked on it an it said that my connection wasnt secure had do not enter any personal details!! Which obv I did when purchasing the shed, so I've just called an spoke to a Sarah, who I explained the whole situation too!! An I requested a refund straight away, she said I could have one but it would be processed on Friday as it's up to the finance team to deal with 🙈 , I had also asked "Sarah" to send me a confirmation email, which I am waiting for! Will not use again!!

Order no - 454616

As you only reply on Trustpilot and have ignored my multiple refund requests by both post and email I am forced to demand full refund as a matter of urgency on here as it has been over 3 months and no shed nor any correspondence from the company and over 2 weeks since we requested a refund! For anyone else who has suffered at the appalling treatment by this company, I took Legal advice and was informed that they are in breach of contract under common law and you can take them to a small claims court to get your money back and claim for damages if you so wish. If the money is not in my account by Tuesday 21st September 2020 then I will be escalating the matter and I urge anyone else to look to do the same also a complaint can be filed on the government website for a company that owes you money and is causing harm to it's customers! I don't want anyone else to fall victim to this company!

No stars would be a real rating

No stars would be a real rating. Order shed 6th June with delivery date 23 June. Still no shed, phone calls not answered but did get a response to an email a month ago. Have now asked for a refund but heard nothing. Will be raising a charge back case today with the credit card company. There does seem to be something fundamentally wrong with the management here.

Update Sunday 30 Aug after company standard response.

Thank you for the response. For your info my order as cut and pasted from your confirmation email "Your Order No: 455058 " is the number quoted so you can now check again.

As my email requesting a refund was a week ago I assume by your response I can expect a refund week commencing 31 Aug.

You website is also still stating 8 in stock and 1 purchased in the last 24 hours of the shed I ordered and still offers a delivery date. This seems to be untrue.

I see you trade under a number of different names and seem to have the same set of issues reported in reviews for these companies.

No shed ,no communication , no answer to emails .
Waiting now for the generic response shed warehouse keep giving out at the end of every review , as expected the response was basically generic with some add ons , the order receipt I hold from the purchase clearly states invoice and delivery addresses . Blaming the customer for their short fallings .

I wish I’d read the reviews before…

I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering a shed😡 it said it was in stock so assumed a relatively quick delivery. I’ve not even had confirmation of my order and can’t reach anyone to follow up with. Like many others l have emailed.... no reply and tried phoning but can’t get through. I will now start the painful process of trying to get my money back.
If they’re busy or under resourced then they need to set customer expectations with an update on their website.
I don’t even have an order number- l have had no confirmation of the order but you have taken money. I already emailed to help@ last week but no reply.

Keep Looking…

If you are looking for a new shed keep looking. All you will receive from this company is aggravation. They took a few seconds to take my money on-line. Why do they need so long for a refund?
The shed never arrived on the booked day. Emails not answered. Phones ring out.
There is no excuse for failure to communicate.
Had to go to my card provider to obtain a refund.
Instead of your standard fob of reply may be you would answer the problems.

According to any number of reviews, you fail to deliver on time.
So why has your web pages still have a “Live Delivery Slot” button to click on, when you do not delivery?

In your replies you state “refund will be processed as soon as possible (currently about 4-5 working days”. If that is the case, where is my refund?

Poor Service

I placed and paid my order early July. Initially told delivery would be 10 days or so. Its now 17th August and emails are not responded to at all. Phoned twice over previous weeks and given indicative installation dates of late August or early September. Now, one cannot even phone as eventually one is cut off with a message stating 'please email us'. Pointless of course as emails are never answered. Its a real shame and a shambles.

The worst company I have ever dealt…

The worst company I have ever dealt with. never return emails or calls, I was delivered a shed which was not fit for purpose, after MANY MANY phone calls and emails I finally got the offer of my money back.. that was 2 months ago and still no money. Funnily enough they won't respond to my emails and calls AGAIN....

DELIVERY DATES A JOKE

I ordered a Summer House by phone April 17th. I ordered by phone as another company had taken an order then given a delivery date for late July. I was given a verbal guarantee by the sales team that the item was in stock and would be delivered May 9th. On May 1st an E Mail was received confirming a delivery date of August 7th. 12 weeks late! By now lockdown was biting so no point canceling and re-ordering, we bit the bullet and waited.
August 4th brought confirmation of delivery on August 7th. Weekend cleared, plans made.
7:30 pm, August 5th. E mail informing delivery would be delayed through "production problems".This on a unit that was available in April.
I responded with pent up frustration to this late delay.
11:20am August 6th. Text message confirming delivery was delayed and I would be contacted later with a new date.
5pm August 6th. Summer House arrived unannounced.
Fortunately our son was visiting and could help with the unloading, as the driver was alone, the driver incidentally was very pleasant.
Obviously the Summer House was on his wagon when the text was sent informing of delay, as he had been to Scotland, delivering to us in North Yorkshire on his way back.
The above script reads like a Monty Python sketch, but the best is to come.
August 10th. E mail received from Customer Services in response to my complaint 5 days earlier giving a new delivery date of August 20th, then one with August 13th.
Within 5 minutes another E mail came with a delivery confirmation for August 20th, and the option to cancel for a refund.
I was tempted to say nothing and wait, but I replied telling them the building was delivered and erected.
The building itself is not of the quality expected, with a poor finish on some sections, and adjustments needed on others, The glass panels were stuck together with smelly, rotten paper and were difficult to separate.
It is too easy to blame the pandemic for all problems, but this was pushing it too far.
Would I recommend this company?

Order 453729 placed 28 April still no shed

Order 453729 placed 28 April. The company advertise a delivery time of 1 - 10 days but assuming Covid would cause delays so didn't chase until 25 June by email. Got a response on 7 July saying we were booked for delivery week commencing 27 July. It didn't happen. Called Sales line as Deliveries and Customer Service not available (how convenient) initially got call back saying deliveries would get in touch. They didn't so called again. Sales couldn't help so called later left me a voicemail saying delivery planned for 12 Aug. Tried calling yesterday couldn't speak to anyone. Called again today and waiting for call back. All along all I have wanted is honesty. If I had been told I July I would not get my shed any time soon I could have found an alternative supplier and would have a new shed by now. I notice a recent review says they received their shed the week after order placed which makes me think they are taking and fulfilling new orders and continuing to fob off people like me who have been waiting 15 weeks. Do not use this company.

Order number 454365 made on 19th May 2020 with 6 to 8 weeks delivery. Payment made on same date.Poor communication from this company.On 30th June email received apologising for delay and advising further contact would be made to arrange final delivery on 11th August. Still no contact.I haven’t yet asked for refund as I was allowing some Lea way because of the coronavirus. Why do firms keep fobbing their customers off? If I do not hear from this company within 48 hours from now I will be cancelling the order

Still awaiting a refund

Firstly, I want to say that the pandemic has impacted businesses and I understand this can cause issues that take time to resolve however it appears that their difficulties only seem to extend to processing refunds and not taking payment. I did order my shed at the start of the pandemic and understood this would present a delay in delivery. The payment however was taken immediately and included installation. After some time had passed I did agree to take delivery without installation and the payment for installation would be refunded to me. I have yet to receive this refund despite numerous emails as they do not seem to answer their phone. If this is not refunded in the next week I will be taking this to the small claims court.

A company to avoid

A company to avoid. The worst service I've ever experienced. I note there are pages of reviews from people who feel the same as I do. Their telephone is permanently engaged, they do not reply to messages despite their promise to do so, they do not reply to emails despite their promise to do so. Ordered my shed in June when they gave a July 6th delivery for an item their website stated was in stock. August 3rd today and still no shed. Finally got through late this afternoon as was told (don't laugh) their delivery team go home at 4. I've been promised a call back in the morning to give me a provisional delivery date - which I daresay may be in September or some such. In fairness Sarah who I spoke to was very pleasant and efficient and I can only suggest she gets a job with a decent company because the one she currently works for is awful. Do not buy anything from this company. I awarded them one star because you can't get away with none

Very bad service

Very bad service, I get things not running good due to covid 19,but when you go on website and it says includes installation, then rung up to double check delivery and installation to be told the shed you have ordered does not include installation and your delivery day has changed with no confirmation of that change really annoying, so undoubtedly been waiting for it to be delivered for 16th August it's probably going to be longer, had a weekend delivery due to working, all this order was done on 1st June,won't be buying anything from here again

Happy Customer

Summer House ordered before these reviews read and naturally concerned that we would not receive structure as promised. Dispite several emails asking for confirmation that delivery would be made as promised we got no response.

However we did get a text from Shires, the local distributor, a couple of days before the due date giving us a time slot and tracking details.

On the day delivery went very smoothly. The driver was professional and pleasant and followed current Covid19 procedures.

We were very happy with the quality of our Summer House and how easy it was to construct.

This company has obviously had difficulties due to lock down but now looks to be getting on top of them. If only they answered emails I think customers would have more confidence in them.

At the end of the day we were very happy with end result and as such would recommend.

Re: Just Poor

As Trustpilot does not allow you to respond to a company’s responses, I am writing this brief update:

Still no shed. Company wrote on 24th July, apologised for the poor service, said planned delivery 4th August and delivery team would be in contact to confirm the details. Not sure when this is going to happen given 4th is next Tuesday.

Re my previous comment about the company’s responses being platitudes. My review included a reference number, therefore unsure why they did not know whether I had cancelled my order or not. A simple check would have confirmed things.

Given I have waited so long I will give them until the 4th to deliver, but not optimistic.

Opinion of shedswarehouse remains unchanged (Just Poor). They have done nothing to put things right through any type of positive action
