Not a good experience and poor quality product
I can’t actually comment on the quality of the shed itself or the installation service because they have repeatedly failed to deliver!
I ordered and paid in full for delivery to a house I was moving into. They contacted me to deliver early - nice surprise - but it was a week before I actually took over the house so not possible. So what did they do? Sold the shed to some one else and then missed the originally planed and agreed delivery date.
Consequently I am having to store stuff outside. Having missed the delivery date, they are now unable to confirm a new date. Very poor consideration for customers, it feels like they have got my money so they don’t care. Regardless of how good the shed might eventually be, I would not recommend this company because of the poor service and unreliable delivery. If I could get another shed somewhere else on short delivery I would cancel the order.
Update: 2 April. Shed finally arrived yesterday. The installation team did a good job, but two parts were cut incorrectly and will need to be replaced. Waiting for those to be delivered. No beading around windows, one window cut out damaged, they are very thin, will have to buy silicone sealant to stop water getting into the shed. Overall not good quality, very thin wood, the floor gives walking on it. Not worth the money. Based on the fiasco with delivery and the overall quality I would not recommend buying from this company. I will need a smaller shed soon, but it won’t be from this company.

Rubbish quality
Our shed arrived in lockdown March 2020. Because of this it was impossible to do anything about returning it. Complete rubbish - appalling quality - timber had holes in it, door doesn't fit properly - rain gets in at the bottom of the door and we had to buy more substantial hinges as the ones supplied were so flimsy they were not fit for purpose. Rubbish window fittings. The roof inside has black mould on it after less than a year. Avoid!!!

Worst firm I have ever dealt with
Worst firm I have ever dealt with. They say "we have X number of these in stock." It does not mean that, it means they have the raw material stocks to make that number, if they ever get round to it. They say "delivery in X days". Absolute rubbish and downright lies, I waited months. Parts missing, stupid crass suggestions about how to get round the issues. Wrong items received. No-one on customer services. Managers too frightened to come to the phone and speak to you. How on earth are they still in business? Wish I had read the reviews before parting with a serious amount of cash. Never again.I have given the order number, but I guarantee they will not contact me. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY.

Bad shed, bad service, bad company
Where to start? Just a catalogue of problems. Ordered a £629 tongue and groove pressure treated 8x6 shed, allegedly discounted from over £1000… So thought we were paying for quality. Arrived 22 Dec and after 5 hours putting it up in freezing temperatures with the difficult 'modular design' (ie. 4x2ft panels on each side rather than a single panel construction - rubbish), start to put the roof felt on… but it was too small. OK, get the doors on – no, too big to fit. Oh and side panel strips missing. Well get the windows in… noticed that the design means water will run into a large gap on the outside and rot. Instructions say fill the gap with sealant. Not supplied. But the water will still run straight onto the wood. Our previous shed rotted around the windows first so I was desperate to avoid this. Video on the website shows how to assemble a shed, and plastic Z strips being used under the windows to prevent water ingress and the worst concentration on the thin tongue end of the cladding. I asked the company to supply the Z strips along with the correct size felt, right doors, side strips. When finally delivered on 1 Feb not only were the doors still the wrong size (so they took the new ones and cut the bottoms off on the spot – unbelievable!) but there were no window Z strips. But apparently these are not supplied with the type we have bought despite it being a more expensive type. When I complained they had not been supplied they then said they don’t stock them at all. But they are clearly shown on the video, which is still on the website, so they must stock them. I said supply them to me and I will cut the shed wood to take them, and asked for a discount to compensate for the amount of hassle and the extra time putting on new felt and adjusting the windows. No joy.
So with nearly 2 months having passed and an unfinished shed I said please refund in full as this is not of satisfactory quality, or fit for purpose, or arguably correctly described. Quite clearly a Consumer Rights Act violation. They say they will not do so as the shed is of course partly erected because the problems didn’t come to light until then. (Thankfully I’m advised this doesn’t actually affect my statutory rights.)
Like all the other terrible reviews here and on Trustpilot which I wish we had read, I would say DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They won’t acknowledge the poor design and a genuine attempt to address it fairly. They have now gone quiet (4 unanswered emails) and I guess they hope I will go away. I offered them the chance to respond before posting this. What a shame to have to go to Trading Standards and probably County Court to get my money back but I work for a charity and can’t be wasting money on something so shoddy. Be warned.

Appalling flimsy leaking shed..appalling customer service..parts missing..promised to be forwarded and weren't..and when shed was built it leaked damaging contents and they blamed me..asked for a refund and told to basically go forth and multiply!! ONCE THEY HAVE TAKEN YOUR MONEY THEY WILL CUT YOU LOOSE AND TELL YOU THE SAME AS WITH ALL THE OTHER RIPPED OFF CUSTOMERS!!

Ordered a 6x8 shed on 11th Jan - delivered on 23rd. No issues. Shed is now up and cannot recommend enough. Exactly what I ordered and came in less that 2 weeks.

Disgusting service
Where do I begin, I ordered my shed early last year, paid in full nearly £2,000 then heard nothing, no matter how many times I called, if I could get through, I was told we have a planned date and someone will be in touch. This date constantly moved but eventually I had a call late afternoon on 11th August telling me my shed would be delivered tomorrow, no thought as to will anyone be at home, have yo anything planned or is the space ready for installation. On the 12th I received several messages stating an arrival time which moved further and further back during the day, eventually one man turned up to install a 12 x 8 shed on his own, really, by this time it was 18:30 pm I called Bedford Sheds to share my concern but the young lady on the other end of the phone insisted that all installers were trained to do so but clearly was just trying to get me off the phone so she could go home. Myself and my neighbour had to assist the installer, who shared later that it was his first solo install, several of the panels were to much for one person to lift and we had to assist on the install eventually finishing at 21:30 in the dark, there were two side pieces missing so the roof felt could not be sealed correctly, following my install the driver had three more sheds to deliver the last he wouldn't get to until after midnight but he insisted he had to try otherwise he would be in trouble.
The following morning I reported the missing side pieces and the install issues, the lady, Sarah, in customer services told me they would send the missing pieces as I was happy to get them installed to save time, they never appeared. Then I had chance to inspect the shed in daylight, what a mess, I could and still can lift the roof screws which are meant to hold the roof have either missed or split the joists.
Fast forward to before Christmas I had a call to say an installer was in the area and was going to attend to sort out my shed issues, I was working but my Wife saw the installer, no tools, no parts no repairs, his comment was that he had been asked to see what the issues were find out what parts he needs and he would be back at the end of the following week to carry out the work, we never saw him again.
So five months on from install I have an incomplete shed, a roof that leaks and the contents are now getting water damaged, unless this is resolved soon, and I feel I have been more than patient I will have to seek legal advice but it looks like I am not the only customer who wishes he had never heard of Bedford Sheds, extremely frustrated as no matter how many times I call customer service they seem to listen but deliver nothing.

APPALLING
APPALLING. Delivered our shed with missing panels. Agreed to deliver the missing panels and told us not to worry about the gap in the roof as the floor would not be damaged by water ingress if it were to rain. Weeks later the replacement panels arrived but they were once again the wrong ones. The shed is not un-useable as the floor has buckled with water damage. Shed Warehouse are refusing to accept any responsibility. We would never use this company again and would urge others against using them for fear of receiving the same appalling customer service.

Having saved up for quite a while for a new summerhouse, I ordered a new 10 by 6 shed summerhouse combi on 10/0920 for an estimated delivery on 2nd November. The summerhouse arrived a little after that date which, given the current climate, was not too bad. I had paid for installation and all seemed to go OK, till the next day I spotted that there was gap above one door, which would let in rain.
It was not until it did start to rain that I saw the many problems this somewhat flimsy summerhouse has. Water seeps in through the sides, above and under the doors, and around the windows. The shed door was so swollen up with water that it came off its hinges, exposing the inside to even more water. Rain is now also coming through the roof, and the inside is now very damp. I did contact straight away and was told someone was coming to assess 14th December. I received a phone call confirming that fact but no one turned up, and since then I have heard nothing. No doubt they will close down for a month over Christmas and the New year, whilst I am left with a totally useless garden ornament! My last sumerhouse lasted over 30 years but if this one gets through the winter I will, be surprised. I have brought tarpaulins to try and protect the stuff inside, but I am devastated at paying over £2000 for this shed/summerhouse, which i cannot fully use. Will update in due course.
UPDATE 25/02/21
In the interest of fairness, I am updating this review as the company have now replaced the defective summerhouse with a more sturdy , usable one. The installer could not have been more helpful, removing the old one and carefully putting the new one up, he was working hard for about 3 hours without stopping so all credit to him.The site was left clean and tidy, and all looks good so far! The summerhouse looks smart, and should be a nice addition to our garden, so thank you to all concerned in this matter.

Unbelievably poor experience!
I wish I had read Trustpilot before placing an order with Shedswarehouse! I run a residential care home for the elderly and placed an order for a desperately needed shed on 27th November. The promise was delivery within 1-10 days. The payment was taken immediately and yet still no shed has arrived! I have emailed several times! Appreciate it is hard times for everyone, but as I am running a critical care business myself, the shed was required as part of our plan to enable the coordination of family visits to the home - we have now had to make alternative plans. £843 is a lot of money for a small business to lose and I would desperately want a refund but cannot get an answer from Shedswarehouse. I have no alternative but to pursue retrieving the monies with my bank. Please do not buy from these people.

Truly terrible service
Truly, truly terrible service. Ordered a shed back in June and the radio silence since then has been deafening. They had no problem taking my money but a huge problem in picking up the phone or emailing me. I would have been happy with information and communication in what's been a tricky time for everyone (me included). It's now October and only the threat of Lloyds Bank undertaking a dispute case via my credit card payment has spurred them into action and offering a refund, yet to be received I hasten to add.

Do not order from this company! I ordered a shed on the 9th of June, received conformation that it would be delivered within 10days, it did not arrive. I have emailed the company, tried never ending phone calls with no joy or replies to either for 5 months.Then last week I get a voice mail telling me it will be delivered on the 9th of November,( 6months)after ordering. As I no longer require the shed I have tried to ring loads of times and sent an email stating I no longer need the shed and would like them to arrange a refund. Yet again no reply..covic or not we at least need to be kept informed and emails answered.

I would have rated a zero but I can’t. I ordered two sheds in June. In August I received one of them which was poorly made (the roof felt was too small for the roof). It is now nearly the end of September and I still haven’t received the second shed. My emails and phone calls go unanswered. I gave the company the option of sending a different shed but again no response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVE.

I ordered and paid for a very simple shed, I also paid for the shed to be installed. Eventually the shed was installed only to discover it was the wrong shed....!!!!!
It has now been over 9 wks that I have been pleading with them to install the correct shed (The panels of which have just been dumped in the centre of the garden). I have rung many times and sent countless emails, I always get the same answer... "We are waiting to hear from the install team"... but nothing.
My daughter has 2 special needs children and they refuse to go in the garden. The whole thing is a mess and certainly don't feel I am getting any kind of customer service, just being fobbed off with excuses.

Sorry to be repetitive, but my situation mirrors all the above comments. All these people have cancelled.. So how is it they are not back on track with their orders??? Wishing (as with all the other poor victims) that I had read the reviews 😢

Awful company
What a dreadful company. This is my third review and this one signals the end (at last) to the whole sorry saga.
Order shed start of June told in stock delivery July 6th didnt turn up. After dozens of phone calls finally got a reply a was eventually informed shed would be delivered start of August. It didnt turn up. Managed to get through on the phone again after trying for days and was eventually told they now could give me any delivery date at all. I asked for a refund. A few days later some bloke phones and says they can deliver the shed the next Tuesday. Bear in mind he is telling us this late on a Friday afternoon preceding a Bank Holiday. We refused and I've no doubt nothing would have arrived. They dont respond to emails, they answer approx one phone call in 50, they can take your money in seconds but claim they need 20 days to refund it. Worse of all they tell lies. Do not deal with this company. Got our money back at long last so we can be grateful for small mercies
