I.ve had my Cooper Sewing machine for quite a few years(10 years or more ) . Finally after all these years it decided not perform as it should . had to change bobbin case quite a few times . got to admit I never had it service but did keep it free of lint and dust . I had a job trying to replace foot pedal at one time and it was a struggle to try and find replacements for the model as it was not being recognised ? So now i have brought a new machine a " Brother " so wish me luck. I can't live without a sewing machine .lol

I only used my sewing machine a few times and already it's broken down. And now that the company has gone i can't get my money back. So disappointed!

Initially I was very pleased, but the customer service was absolutely dire! Then they went into liquidation and now my machine needs fixing but they’ve gone. Like many others I paid for the 15 year warranty and lifetime service. I guess that’s now never going to happen and I’ve now had to buy another new machine.

This was one complaint that clearly really was too good to be true.

I bought a pfaff 4.5 embroidery machine and paid extra for pick up and delivery on top of 15 years warranty , am raging as tried to put in machine for a service and get what , just noticed they have went into administration without no notice , I take it I have lost Al the extra Money I paid , no notice was given at all, so angry😡😡😡

I have only just found out on 26-01-2021 that the sewing company I bought my sewing machine from has gone liquidation, I wanted my sewing machine repaired....I am so annoyed at not being told, I paid a 10 yr guarantee and I would like my money back, I’m wondering if any body has seen into this and got a reply or their money back. 😡😡😡😠😠😠

Absolutely appalling service..it was a horrendous experience and this is the first I've realised loads of people have had the same experience. Glad they're gone!!

I bought a machine from the British Sewing Centre last June. I also paid for 15 year Annual Service plan with Free Collection & Delivery costing me £99.95. I have attempted to get in touch to ask them when they will arrange this year's service and discover they may not even be trading now. I am angry and disappointed that they would not get in touch with those who they have paid agreements with and notify them of their demise. Any advice welcome for getting my service money back

This company was called FLC Distributors trading as The British Sewing Centre, I bought a machine on the 13/5/19 and it appears on Companies House that they went into administration on 25/5/19, they have ceased trading!
I was lucky that I paid with a credit company called DivideBuy and am getting my money back!

This company is/was a "spin off" from Coopers sewing machines. I bought a machine in 2015, returned it as faulty, they sent a replacement (different type)
Its never really been right and I have been trying to use my 15 Year warranty to have it repaired for the last few months.
Nothing in response to my emails to any of the email address's that have appeared over the years.

Now all I have is a machine in need of repair.
Please stick to a "Reputable" company and don't think twice about the extra expense initially. It seems to me, that by my saving money as I thought, I have, like many others, LOST big time. :( :(

I ordered a sewing machine on 17th of May and am still waiting for delivery! No delivery details given when ordered they said they would give me an email or text informing me of delivery details, I've tried contacting the company but have been unsuccessful, no reply to emails and I can't find a phone number for them. Now I've seen the rest of these reviews and have realised that their company is a scam, I've been in touch with PayPal, waiting to hear from them hopefully I can get my money back but I'm not holding my breath! Very disappointed I would not advise anyone to buy anything from this company as they are just SCAM artists!

Terrible Terrible Terrible. Do not even bother to order with them. Shocking service, can't even get hold of anyone for support, no machine even arriving after such a long time waiting for it and no refund possible! Don't even bother. I'm now in in process of getting a solicitor for starting legal proceedings to get my money back from them!

Did not receive all the accessories as advertised. And the after sales customer service is very poor. The man that I eventually managed to get through to had a very poor attitude and was very rude and sarcastic.

Had been researching sewing machines on this site and was interested in a Toyota. When I realised the interest free payment option wasn't available if you used the discount code I decided not to proceed. Within minutes I received a call from a man from the company claiming that the machine I was interested in was selling fast and there was only 2 left, also the sale price was only valid for 3 more days. (Typical pushy sales technique that I'd never fall for). When I pointed out to him that I had researched all his prices and in fact his so called sale prices were in fact every other suppliers standard price he very quickly responded by saying "im sorry but i dont think i can help, good luck with your search for a machine" and hung up. Very dodgy. I would never buy a product from this company.

Appalling customer service, never relied to any emails or answered the telephone. Tried to cancel order numerous times and they sent a sewing machine I did not order for no reason. Am in the process of trying to get my money back through Paypal but not hopeful. Can't think of a worse customer service experience with any other company. Buy at your peril as you will end up with a machine you did not order and a company that refuses to respond to you. Horrendous.

If there was a 0 rating for this company. It would still be too much. I thought I was buying directly from singer. I purchased a product which I did not receive and I could not even complaine to this company about the service as they would not even reply to my emails. Even ringing them was unsuccessful as no one answered.
I’m having to go through PayPal to get my money back.
Should have gone to Argos as this product is cheaper and your not conned into buying this product because of the discounts they throw at you on the website.

What can I say, wow! I felt I was in an episode of Fawlty Towers when dealing with this company and in particular the awful human being Jay Cooper Isow or Jay Cooper which he was called when he starred in Watchdog!

Honestly, it was more than just an awful experience, it was almost funny although this disgusting man is still making money which shouldn't be happening. Do not buy from this company!!

I've ordered twice from this website and had two totally different experiences. The first was absolutely brilliant but the second couldn't be any more different.

Very unhelpful when contacted on live chat, kept stating they couldn't track my order and I would need to contact the helpline. When I did contact the helpline, no one answered on the option for tracking orders so when I rang through to the general line, I was abruptly told that they could not help me and I would need to be transferred - I was then transferred through to a dead phone line before I could even say anything. Tried ringing again, no answer.

No answer to emails either, so I wouldn't even bother with that. Not even an auto-response advising that your email has been received.

The only thing I can praise about this experience was the delivery, at least it turned up on the day that I chose.

Horrbile CUSTOMER SERVICE.I was waiting 5h online to order sewing machine.On the end I made phone call.Person from sale team was rude to me and laugthing at me when I ased about discount.I WOULDNT RECOMEND THIS SHOP!!!!!

When I telephoned to cancel an order and then reorder a more expensive model, I was told that I was clueless and not to order anything from the company again.

SO I DID NOT!!!

Their loss, appalling service very rude ,are there any customers left?
