We were advised to put our home address for delivery rather than the address we wanted our sofa delivered to, this was due to using finance. Within an hour of the order being made we updated our delivery address. However our sofa ended up in Essex and no one from SCS let us know, after 3 months of waiting I called SCS who advised the sofa was in Essex and no one had contacted me because the delivery address was in Sussex and so the Essex team couldn’t deliver the sofa. We were then advised they’d arrange for the sofa to be sent to Sussex. 2 weeks went by and still no one contacted me. I then had to call SCS AGAIN only to be told my sofa was in Milton Keynes. I then had to wait an additional 3 weeks for my sofa to get to the Sussex warehouse and for a delivery to be arranged. In total it took 5 months to receive my sofa - I ordered on 29th March and received it 08 August.
A very poor disorganised service and unsympathetic customer service team.

**UPDATE** it’s October and I’m still waiting on the phone call. What an appalling service from SCS.

Ordered a sofa from worthing branch sussex back in May still waiting delivery... phoned Worthing branch today unable to offer time scale on furniture other then sometime in September?
Paid in cash full price.Good you paid cash you should get your sofa quicker? Said sales person back in May!
Manager at worthing store today was un helpful ... but they were quick to take my money. A lot of money,I am hoping I haven't been ripped off.
We have nothing to sit on now as we got rid of our old furniture,in preparation for new delivery?

Perfect delivery with no problems - delivery crew were efficient and polite. Was advised by email and text what time they would be arriving, then the crew phoned to say they would be within the hour. So much better than I expected.

Great delivery team, very friendly, helpful and respectful. We got notified of the specific delivery time within a half hour window, and the team unpacked and put together the sofa very quickly, asking where we wanted it and clearing away all the packaging.

Very efficient service,they informed me what the delivery slot was and kept me updated on what time they would arrive. When they arrived the driver and assistant were very polite and helpful.they also took all the rubbish away and checked the condition of the sofa before they left. We would highly recommend scs from start to finish. Can also recommend the quality of the sofa, thanks for a great relaxed service.

I was contacted the night before about my delivery and on the day I received a phone call. The delivery guys were polite and efficient and delivered my sofas with care. Very happy with the service 😀

Great service from ordering to delivery. Excellent communication re delivery day and time . Pav and Arek delivered quickly and efficiently up 2 flights of stairs. Would definitely recommend.

Should of paid more attention to the reviews left for this company, customer service is awful, estimated delivery date now exceeds the overall lead time from the order. Customer service honestly couldn't care less about you at all, no information, no help, can't cancel order either.

Like trying to get blood from a stone, they are more than happy to take your money though and try flog you every extra under the sun, avoid at all costs.... Go to elsewhere and save the disappointment.

We only popped in to SCS Worthing as we had to go to Pets at Home opposite, we were greeted by Andrew who made us feel very welcome. He gave us a free tape measure and invited us to look around and take our time. There was no pressure at all put on us to make a purchase. Even though we weren’t looking to make a purchase, we found a very comfortable leather sofa. Andrew then answered our questions. When we decided to go ahead Andrew still took the time to make sure we were ready and showed us the full colour range.
I can highly recommend SCS. They have some beautiful sofas and Andrew provided a great service.

After finally getting my sofa around a month late ( I will say that the sofa is amazing!) in January, I was promised a £200 compensation for the delay as it was meant to be delivered before Christmas. I’m still waiting for the compensation! The wait times for the customer services is embarrassing and I’ve gave up trying. Just wondering if anyone is looking at this who can help?

don’t bother! Went to worthing w sussex branch was given the spill by the sales agent. yeah 8 weeks wait usually being delivered in 6 weeks , 4 months still waiting. 3 dates have been given move them by a week each time .

UPDATE - Tegan replied stating we were getting the delivery 1 day before our delivery date ! Its now been changed again for a week past the delivery date and still waiting - have asked for a refund

Andrew the salesman was really friendly and helpful. A really pleasant experience and I found exactly what I was looking for.

Communication has been brilliant. Notified a week before and kept up to date until delivery. Aaron and Shaun were very good and courteous. Couldn't fault them. They were rushed as they could not deliver close enough to the house, then had to assemble.

Great sofas. Just have to wait a long time for delivery.

Appalling company to deal with , placed an order in January , lead time was 5 months , salesman did not make it clear that there could be an additional 28 days on top of that making 6 months in total , gave up waiting in the phone que , they took a day to call back and never replied to emails
absolutely no communication between placing the order and my phone call today
one week before the delivery date and they still cannot confirm when it will even arrive
my advise would be to use a small independent company who cares about their customers

We were greeted by Andrew Scales who made us feel very welcome. He initially asked what we were looking for and he then gave advice on the materials, colours etc and invited us to look around and take our time. At no time did we feel pressurised into making a purchase. Andrew gave us information about the company and the quality of materials they use.

We were offered a hot drink which was very welcome and he answered all questions we put to him. We didnt make a purchase straight away as we wanted to look at competitors. However, we were so impressed with the service that we went back the following day and after putting more questions to Andrew we bought a three seat recliner sofa at a great price.

I can highly recommend SCS. They have some beautiful sofas and Andrew provided a great service. At no time did we feel rushed or pushed into making a purchase.

I would highly recommend them.
