This is my second review and i will continue to call this company out for appalling customer service and faulty goods which they refuse to do anything about by using the excuse "our technicians found nothing wrong so its an invalid claim" (look how often they use this answer in the review comments) even when said technicians acknowledge there is a problem at time of visit but it doesn't come under any of there tick boxes . This has left us unable to use over £3000 of sofas as they are so uncomfortable to sit on to the point of causing pain!!

Buying our sofas from the Grimsby store today was made easy thanks to the help and advice given by Martin. Patient and considerate of our initial ideas, Martin helped with fabric advice, layout advice and was generally on hand to support. The store was filled with beautiful sofas enabling us to see various styles and colours to choose from. The whole experience was quick & efficient.

We went to SCS Grimsby looking for a couple of new sofas and a footstool, and our daughter was looking for a new sofa or corner sofa. We were met as soon as we walked in and told wed be left alone but they were there if needed. We were asked a few times if we needed anything - this was getting annoying. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned to look some more again met with same " We'll give you space" again we were followed around, we were looking at sofas and then again the same person appeared. This happened numerous times. There was a strong scent in the store and was making my head hurt, so I left my husband talking to the same sales person - I even said "Im going to have to go outside this scent is giving me a headache" my husband answered - the grnt carried on talking to my husband. My husband finally came to the car a good 30 minutes after. He said he couldn't get away. The gent asked my husband where I had gone, then continued "well are you going to get her back". He continued to pester my husband, showing him more sofas, telling him to go and get me.
Well SCS congratulations your pushy, inconsiderate, staff have cost you 2 sales. I will NEVER be stepping foot through your door again and will never be recommending SCS. DFS have now got 2 orders.

Wayne at the Grimsby store finally solved the hardest problem at our new house. Myself and my partner have been fighting for 6 months over what sofa to buy. We’ve been to multiple different store/brands and no luck. Within an hour of entering the SCS Grimsby store we had purchased our new sofa. Amazing customer experience cannot thank Wayne and the team enough.

We ordered two Gretna 3-seater power recliners from the Grimsby SCS store on 5th September and were told delivery would be on 15th November. That date came and went with no communication. After chasing, we were told the delivery was delayed and that delays of up to 28 days are “in the terms and conditions” — something never mentioned in-store.
Eventually, we were given a delivery date of 20th December — over 28 days late. We arranged for someone to remove a window to get the sofas in. The delivery team dropped them off as agreed, but we quickly discovered that only one power pack and splitter cable had been delivered for two sofas.
We contacted the driver, who told us to call customer service — which was closed on Saturday. We visited the store, and the staff could only email customer service. Days later, still no response. When I called on 24th December, I was told we’d need to wait for an email with a form to fill out before their tech team could even look into it.
This has been a frustrating and unnecessarily drawn-out experience. The missing part isn’t custom — it should be a simple fix. Instead, we’ve been met with delays, poor communication, and a customer service team that seems more interested in passing blame than helping.
SCS: please consider implementing an order tracking system and training your staff to show empathy. This experience has left us with an incomplete order over Christmas and a very sour taste.

from first ordering our new sofa bed at scs Grimsby, Wayne was very plight and helpful when through everything with us, we kept getting emails all through manufacture, and the sofa bed arrived before the delivery date, and the two delivery guys were very plight and helpful, they put it in the bedroom that we wanted it in and tidy up after the had finished,

Communication re delivery time excellent and arrived on time. Team excellent, offered to take off shoes when in the property. Every piece of wrapping removed with no trace of it left.

Hello, the delivery guys were absolutely brill, my delivery was early. They rang to say they would be half hr, which was helpful, took all rubbish away and tested my recliners. Couldn't fault my guys.

The staff were very helpful but left us to look at suites at our pleasure. When we found the one we wanted the staff were available straight away. She was
