Excellent service and very knowledgeable staff. My timing was bad as hen i had gone there were lot of customers, however i was made comfortable and they were able to serve me

We had a great experience purchasing a new suite in the Bradford store. Mohammed ( from the Birstal store ) was very knowledgeable and helpful. The icing on the cake was your delivery crew Liam & Dan, they arrived on time and went beyond our expectations. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

Avoid this company !
Damaged goods on several occasions, damage to property by delivery drivers, original damaged goods trying to be redelivered, lack of communication, no phones calls when promised, the list goes on…..
What could go wrong has gone wrong and the customer service has been shocking !
It has taken over 8 months from the original order being made to the correct product being delivered and I still haven’t received the ‘courtesy’ call that I was promised 2 days ago, let alone any compensation!

Bought a sofa and cuddle chair within 10 had worn badly all SCS could say normal wear not good enough respond from them 3 more emails same response just sent a complaints email for it to bounce back to say email no longer in use but I will carry on with my complaint have joined a fb group and am shocked at the after scales care from SCS with people like my self with genuine complaints

Now received a reply saying the the out come was because no fault with there goods surely you expect more than 10 months use before it shows wear on your sofas had sofa from you before and had a lot longer no wear on that if you look on the FB page loads of complaints same reason and no one listens I emailed complaints last for it to bounce back saying this email no longer in use

We have heard nothing from SCS about our refund

I was pleased that my sofa was delivered on the scheduled day; however, it arrived late in the evening. The delivery crew appeared to be in a hurry to complete the delivery and set-up, which may have affected the quality of their work.

Staff were brilliant. In and out in quick time

Zaf was excellent from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. Nothing felt rushed, and he explained everything clearly, which made the whole process easy and stress-free. Customer service like this makes a huge difference — a real credit to SCS Bradford. Highly recommend!

Re scs bradford store.

We spoke with Jason the deputy manager on the phone before we called into store. What a wonderful kind man, who went out of his way to help deal with our specific situation. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, understanding and curtious to our needs. He made the experience very simple and straight forward. He a credit to the store and company. I hope he and his management see this. Well done Jason. 👏🏻

Delivery was great and can not fault that team. The sales manager in the Bradford store on the other hand is where our main concerns lay. Mohammed I think his name is, is VERY pushy, over powering and oblivious to the world around him.
I visited in store with my grandparents to help them look for a new reclining chair (pair)
We were greeted by a lovely man (James or Stuart, honestly can’t remember his name) and he began to talk then Mohammed came booming over to take over the sale. We had already said we are ordering today so he knew it was a guaranteed sale. Very dismissive of the other team around him.
We picked the chairs we wanted then came the end sale- he was so forceful with trying to upsell insurance and aftercare kits! Had I not took his iPad to sign for the thing I am pretty confident he wouldn’t have mentioned it to my elderly grandparents at all!
When I asked him to remove it he became very stroppy, trying 5 times to sell it, I again refused as did my Grandad. After my Grandad then said No firmly he began muttering under breath so they couldn’t hear to me, telling me the benefits, to which I again loudly dismissed him!! This to me is very bad business. It has made me question how many people unknowingly have paid extra without realising! It wouldn’t surprise me if he had broken the Consumer protection law more than once.
He then started tapping the iPad very forcefully because someone actually told him No! He is so rude and disingenuous.
I did not appreciate this at all and would never return purely because of him.

Delivery was also extremely long, but we were warned.
The drivers for delivery were fantastic with my grandparents and really helped them out and set it all up for them which I can not thank them enough as I was not able to be there for delivery day.

We visited the Bradford store and were greeted by Jason. Very friendly and professional. He left us to browse and answered all our questions about different suites and colours and fabrics. Then went along to help us set up an instalment payment plan which was very helpful! 100% recommend visiting the Bradford store and, if working, ask for Jason.

Donavan deliveries were excellent extremely courteous and professional service put the sofa together and even moved other furniture to accommodate our requirement. Again excellent service.

The delivery team, for NWT, Jay and Ben were brilliant. They brought my sofas in and set them up for me. They were polite, very friendly and upbeat. I was happy with their service.
The sofa is gorgeous. I'm well happy with it.

Horrible service! Let’s start with when we went to buy the sofa:

looking for the sofa the man in the Bradford shop (won’t mention names”) more or less talked us out of buying the better priced sofas and made us buy the more expensive one. Fair enough he gave us a discount from 2.9k to 2.4k. However we told him we need it by the end of August which was about 6 weeks from when we bought the sofa, or else we don’t want to buy it. He said “yeah don’t worry we say it’ll be 12 weeks delivery but it’ll definitely come by end of August. Just come in every 2 weeks so we chase on it”. So we accepted.

Every few weeks I went in and the dates kept getting further. Eventually it came to August and I went in trying to rush them. They responded as if they never said it’ll come in August. So at this point I realised they just lied to sell the product.

On top of that the price of the sofa dropped by nearly 1k.

August went by and still no sofa! Had guests come and sit on chairs and the floor! But they didn’t seem to care when I told them.

Now the actual delivery date showed 20th September or something like that. Come 20th September I went to see what the issue was and guess what. Sofa still isn’t done. I complained to them and they just say “well email them” which I’m pretty sure they probably didn’t.

Fast forward to the late delivery date which is now October… the delivery was supposed to be at 3pm. So I took a day off work to receive the sofa. The drivers had many deliveries that day so I was waiting for my slot. 3pm got changed to 4pm, then to 5pm and then to 6pm. So then I checked on the app at 6pm, and it said my house was next and they’re driving to my house. Map showed they were about 3-4 mins away from my house. And then what happened… the driver called me saying “we’ve ran out of driving hours, we can’t deliver your sofa”??? Their delivery hours are 7am to 7pm. And they ran out of driving hours?.

So fast forward the next day where I had to take another day off work to receive the sofa. The drivers came and they realised, they forgot half of the sofa! So they put in what they could for now. And then finally they sent someone down to put the last half on.

To summarise, these guys give it all the big talk before you buy the sofa in a tactic to sell you the sofa. They’ll show they’re better than anyone with their service. And once the deposit is paid and there’s no going back, they’ll just pretend they never said anything of such to you.

Really disappointed, paid full amount up front , order was damaged and customer service , emails and order updates not kept up to date . No replys to emails or answered phone call. Now no settee at all months later

From start to finish the service has been fantastic. The sales rep in store was really helpful and knowledgeable.

Delivery team fantastic. These sofas are extremely heavy and they had to carry them a log way to get to the back of the house. Really friendly crew on what is not an easy job
