Excellent- The men who delivered my sofa and chair were very professional, extremely helpful and efficient- just delightful

The lads were great, very careful and considerate with the handling and moving of my sofas, we had a good chat too, 10 out of 10 boys, thank you. 😊😊😊

Because of the development of our situation, and the subsequent business practices the company has exhibited, we feel justified in writing another review on the companies' communication and approach to their customers.

After the storage footstool failed to arrive with our already criminally delayed couch delivery, it still never showed up—even after the promised delivery date, when we had to keep cancelling plans while the truck never left the warehouse. The employee assured us there was no problem at the warehouse, but since the item never even left, it felt like blatant disregard—leaving us strung along and made fools of. At the time, we could only assume the delivery men had decided to have a picnic there and forgotten about us.

After more than a week of radio silence, we ourselves had to call in and ask what had happened. Only then did they have the courtesy of admitting our item has been lost.

This felt like the final insult on top of a mountain of disrespect. They had already made a mockery of us by delaying the process and charging us for the deconstruction of a corner piece that, on the second delivery attempt, fit without any need for it. Instead we paid for the deconstruction of the sofa couch previously suggested to be done free of charge. What feels especially dishonest is that, during the purchase of the couch they wholehearted assured that if the couch did not fit it would be their responsibility. But we were neither able to refund nor exchange it, forcing us to pay for its deconstruction in business practice that felt akin to extortion.

Additionally the £100 refund we had bargained for the deconstruction is already 2 days later than their assured period of 14 working days.

It speaks volumes of the company that SCS considers this £3,400 worth of customer service. It is clear that SCS considers their customers to be worth the same amount as the wad of cardboard the delivery man tossed into our yard.

The SCS service from start to finish has been first rate. We’ve been impressed by the process from viewing and choosing in showroom through to delivery.
No qualms recommending SCS based on our experience.

Great service..on time and 2 friendly guys who bought a heavy item up 2 flight of stairs and put the unit together.

Stephen and Michael the delivery guys went above and beyond yesterday to get my Mums sofa into her flat.The sofa looked like it was impossible thru the door but they worked hard to succeed.. These guys were given 12 minutes on their schedule for minimum wage. The managers of Scs need to see how hard these guys work and the time it actually takes to deliver a sofa a chair to a 3rd floor flat with tight corners and narrow doors.Thanks guys. I visited the SCS sofa store on Whitebirk on Blackburn. Upon entering a lovely man namely Damien came over and greeted us offering help and advise. We discussed what we would like and he advised us on what they could offer. He then left us to view sofas and gave us space. I must say SCS sofas were really well made and designed. There was some great offers on to. We did happen to see a design we liked and Damien advised us on our options. We never intended to make a purchase but I must say great staff make a massive difference. He was so down to earth and we felt so comfortable. I strongly believe hardworking professional employees should be recognised which is why I am writing this review. Thanks Damien hopefully see you soon! .

I visited the Blackburn SCS store to purchase a new sofa and chairs. I had previously visited a number of different furniture stores but SCS had a superior selection of styles and fabrics. I found exactly the sofa and chairs that I liked. The sales team were very friendly and welcoming. Tom, the sales consultant was helpful without being overbearing and gave us lots of useful advice about the range that was available. He was extremely patient with me whilst I deliberated about the huge range of fabrics to choose from. It was good that the swatches were big enough to see what the fabric would look like on the sofa. I was given a full explanation of the terms and conditions of sale and the order that I had made to enable me to ensure everything was correct. I bought on the last day of the sale so got a good deal too!

Fantastic experience at scs blackburn! The staff both Sam and Tom were kind, friendly, patient, excellent communication service, catered to all of our needs, we felt very relaxed with the staff, we did not feel pressured at any point to purchase and just allowed the customer to take their time. We found the perfect sofas which met all our needs, I would 100% recommend!

Tom was great, we were fully informed of the choices and he was really thorough and efficient. Fab experience and all done and dusted really quickly, all questions answered and options explained really well.

On Time no complaints from delivery team, they were excellent very polite and careful.

We originally ordered the sofa, chair and footstool in March and was served by Tom the store manager in Blackburn and was very happy with our purchase and the service from Tom it was a seven week wait from ordering to delivery and was a Great service kept us updated when the delivery was and an estimated time for delivery and tracking. Two lads came and delivered the sofa, chair and footstool and worked hard to monuvour the furniture off the truck and through to our living room without any hassle or damage extremely professional throughout and took them probably 30 minutes to assemble and to advise us good job well done them guys work extremely hard.

Absolutely shocking experience- will never buy from again. Significant delay with delivery. Customer service is almost impossible to get through to and when you do they just blatantly lie and fob you off. If you want a stress free experience Do Not Use SCS!

Went in over bank holiday weekend to Blackburn store. Met promptly by staff straight away, asking of we needed help then left to look around. Saw some sofas that caught our eye, Samuel (Sam) was very helpful and made a lovely brew! Ended up buying a 3 steater and 2 seater, both electric recliners. Good Bank holiday deals and store has been updated and looks and feels fresh. Lovely to shop in. Highly recommend and would use again.

A perfect delivery, lovely gentlemen, very professional and tested it worked before leaving.

Went to the newly refurbished ScS on Saturday where I was greeted with a warm welcome by Damien. He took an interest in what I was looking for and talked me through the layout and fabric options available. I did have two young children with me who he helped keep entertained as it can be challenging shopping with children.
We returned a few days days later to order the sofa I fell in love with it. Whole experience from start to finish was a pleasure and Damien couldn't do enough for me, my Partner and our three children.

Certainly no pressure to buy and could not recommend enough.

Company is good, sofa bed is good and comfy, materials I like it, delivery lad's is friendly.
Just one minus long time waiting for received, but it's worth it .
