Well despite saying we would receive a call back no one phoned and we have had to chase. Have now heard back and have been told that the missing legs will be 2-3 weeks !! and on arrival we can either fit them ourselves or I need to call again to schedule for them to come out which will be 2-3 more days. All very apologetic but no one is taking responsibility and actually resolving things.

Wrong items delivered.
We had to chase this for over 3 weeks before we got the correct furniture delivered, 4 weeks late.
No apology or compensation.
No response to formal complaint, not even an acknowledgement, after more than 2 weeks!

I was so pleased to receive this response from SCS - at last someone listening!

Sadly my optimism was short lived!

As we were on holiday it took a while to send my response.
I responded on 4/7/2025 - and received no response!

I sent a follow up response on 11/7/25 - 9 days later and yet again absolutely no response!!

I am now beyond words, SCS seem unable to provide any customer service!

The sofa & armchairs were delivered as promised on the date & time that we agreed.
The SCS staff were very helpful and friendly, unpacking the items & taking the packaging away for us.
All in all a job well done.

Efficiency

We had sofas delivered and the men were very friendly and careful when bringing the sofas through the doors. They were quick and competent and took all the packaging leaving the lounge ckean and tidy. I would definitely go to SCS as first choice for any future furniture purchases.

Was awful from the start not only was my sofa delayed by 4 months .. the delivery men were really rude and complaining about my stairs which is not my fault they refused to collect the loan good they was meant to be collecting and kept shoving the paperwork in my face to say there not taking the loan sofa as it’s not on there paper work even after I phoned the office and they was told to collect it the scs office had to contact there manager to tell them they need to remove the loan goods they then. Tired to lie and say that there was no room on the lorry which there was because I made them show
Me the back of the lorry they was here for 2 hours having some kind of Mexican stand off refusing to do jobs they was meant to be doing but I was refusing to let them leave untill they removed the loan good as I couldn’t be left with a sofa that wasn’t mine! They also lost the battery pack to my sofa so my order was incomplete yet they made me sign to say it was complete and was moaning about there men not being payed for things that was not on there paper work even thou there manager had told them this was a simple admin error and it would be fixed and it definitely isn’t the customers fault I’ve never seen such bad work ethics in my whole life and as a single women with my child having 2 angry men in my home refusing to do things was quite upsetting it’s 3 days after they said someone should come out with my batterie pack and I’m yet to hear anything! So I have my £2000 sofa I can’t recline still

The two men from Bonaci were very helpful my house has a very narrow door way the to men worked tirelessly to gwt my sofa fitted.

They were very polite and made sure that i was happy every step of the way.

I am very Happy with the service that I recieved today. I would 100% recommend and use them again

Lucy was a lovely young lady very patient and listened to my needs, the manager went forward with the information I needed but in the end it was the relaxed approach of Lucy and my budget that won me over!

Simon and Travis arrived in the time frame promised. After a quick check they took the garden route with better access for the sofa and through the front door with the chairs. They used a giant cover rug to protect the carpet and took all the packaging away with them.

Gary greeted at the door guided us to what we were looking for and then waited till we looked like we needed help I could not believe there is still customer service about. From start to finish purchasing what we wanted was great he was very knowledgeable and pleasant also we could have a joke with him too don't get that kind of service often now we enjoyed visit and purchased what we wanted thank you Gary ps manager wasn't so bad either lol

After being missold our sofa (January) and us refusing delivery the first time (April) countless emails being ignored, incredibly rude, intimidating, unhelpful manager instore, finally an email from Bradley on 22nd April to say our complaint was being looked into by an area manager (we’ve heard nothing to date but have a complaints number) so we sent an email asking for our order and contract to be CANCELLED COMPLETELY on 3rd May, a chaser email on 9th May because we heard nothing, and today we received an email saying they were going to try to deliver the sofa this afternoon?! This company is SHOCKING!! There is zero level of customer service, there is no actual communication, they might seem fine when trying to con you into buying the sofa but after that their behaviour is disgusting. My mother is 79 and even though she is completely fine in her mind she is frail in her body, recovering from a hip replacement in October last year. She has had to sit on garden furniture for months whilst this absolute farce has been playing out. The stress this has caused my mother is ridiculous. The fact we have been completely ignored every single time we contact them bar one email. And trying to call? Hours lost on hold. Or waiting for a call back. We have tried the after sales email address, the social media email address, as the customer service email now no longer exists. Avoid at all costs.

The in-person showroom and staff were very helpful, the crew who delivered and assembled the sofa were very professional and did a great job! The sofa is great quality, exactly as described, very comfy. Overall very happy.

The only thing that was less than perfect was that our lead time was extended a few times (which is ok) but the communication was a little lacking so we felt a little uncertain of when our sofas would arrive. Overall the sofas were delayed about a month but I didn't get an update until I proactively reached out to the support phone line (who were very helpful!) After this, I knew about the "Track your order" link on the website that was very useful, and started getting email updates which I hadn't seemed to be getting before.

The whole process of our experience with SCS Basildon was excellent, made as such by their Sales Advisor Callums positive attitude, technical knowledge and attentativeness in matching our needs. Callum went above and beyond in making sure that our order was kept on track and still matched to our expectations. I would highly recommend this store to future potential customers.

We went to SCS at Lakeside, Essex and had a great experience trying out all the sofas. The staff member Ukeme was extremely helpful and gave us plenty of time and space to choose what we wanted.
He talked us through the customisable options, which helped to fit our lounge.

We placed our order in February, and it arrived in May.
The delivery/ install was quick and easy.
