First off the bike is great, son loves it however, direct bikes don’t make the bikes they just import them and sell them!

I am so annoyed at the lack of customer service and after sales. I reached out to direct bikes as my son went to go out on his bike but needed to adjust the left wing mirror. As he applied pressure to turn to mirror it snapped off! The housing that the mirror sits into is made from very thin metal and not fit for purpose!

After sending an email and photo’s of the part that was broken due to a manufacturing fault as was so let down by the repeated reply by direct bikes!

I was told that “this is not a manufacturing fault it’s damage”. And to contact my insurance company! What a load of rubbish. Then I was told “we have been in business for over twenty years” why that makes a difference is beyond me.

The bike is still under twelve months old and should be covered under the warranty or by the sales of goods act as this is not what we expected to happen when the part is supposed to move, not break off!

After googling the company I find out they are well known for this and will not accept liability on any warranty claim so god help the people who take their insurance out as well!

After giving them enough chances to help with this matter and being told I would have to pay £120 plus postage I have now passed it over to the citerzens advice and passed to trading standards. I am not holding me breath with either as the person who emailed me back was very flippant in telling me to contact trade and standards, they must be used to receiving complaints from them.

Terrible company, pay the extra and go with a reputable business who take care in their customers. Thing is we would have bought another bike of them for our other son in February 2025, thier loss!

In reply to your absolute shambles of an excuse that you have posted! First off citizens advice are taking the matter serious as are trading standards. I am not trying to make any false claims against the warranty or my insurance company. As I explained to you in the email I actually work for the insurance company and fully understand the implications of false claims. The fact you are referring all your customer to their insurance company is what I pointed out to you in the email! Also may I point out that I paid £20 for the replacement part which you wanted to charge £120 for so why on earth would I go to all this trouble? I am merely advising others of your absolute disrespect for your customers after they have purchased from yourselves. Why is there no customer service line or faults line at your company that has been trading for “20” years? To reply with such disregard just shows the contempt you have. Post away my emails which by the way is in breach of data protection! Ar no point have I been anything but polite and courteous in all my messages. I have all the photo’s and I now have a report stating that the housing was faulty. So my response is clear, you keep posting slander about my self on social media platforms and let’s see where that ends up!

As to the reason I advised you about insurance was for you to acknowledge that “you” as a company are not advising people that they would loose their NCB and possibly have to pay an excess when your company is fobbing people off to their insurance company which I advised you was wrong as this is not an accident it’s down to a manufacturing fault!

I am merely advising others of my experience with your company which is true to fact as is what happened with the mirror! It was not an accident caused by my son or as you keep trying to suggest damage. This happened when my son tried to adjust the wing mirror, true to fact which by the way we have cctv footage of that happening! We are entitled as customers to reach out to companies when a product is not what was expected when purchased under the sales of goods act. You have chose as you have with many more to not listen to your customer, not ask for the part to be sent in for checks and not looked into this further. No you have chosen to just say it’s damaged get intouch with your insurance compan!
Please keep posting your rubbish as you are now just showing how your company for “twenty” years works!

As to your pathetic try to slander me with other well written and also true to fact experiences with other companies is again you attempt to justify your actions not mine! Have you highlighted all the other companies I have left glowing remarks to, no! You have copies information that is relevant to you. I’m finding this hard to comprehend a business choosing to try and slander a customer instead of working with them. Disgusting!
So why have you just sent me an email telling me you will order me the part free of charge if I take down my post? If I’m fabricating the truth. Like I said, keep posting and re:posting to try and get your point across, I’m done, I have better things to do!

I stumbled on this site when looking to buy a 125cc moped. I am very impressed with the moped and service I received. After placing my order the moped arrived next day with no issues. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. It's 5 out if 5 from me!

I'm a tad bit skeptical of these sellers. I sent them an email asking if the scooters come equipped with ABS. I get an email back and the first word (thanks) is spelt like it was rushed, something like (tahnks) is this anything to worry about? Are they legit? Am i overreacting? I'm not sure.

Bought a 125 Venom scooter last month in finance with klarna. Paying around £90 a month. It's a very good scooter, staff replied to emails fast. Delivery very quick, happy with everything.

Excellent fast and pain-free experience with buying a moped for my wife. They went the extra mile to ensure delivery was on time. Moped arrived in pristine condition. Would recommend to anybody and would use personally again in the future. Thanks team.

I am 14 coming on 15 and wondering what requirements I'd need for a 50cc bike and direct bikes gave me all the information I needed to know to get permitted to ride a 50cc I will definitely come back to direct bikes once I have my CBT licence to buy a bike

Well bought a bike from these what can I say the. Light was not working they replaced the hole unit no problem to them and vin cover missing they replaced straight away now the cover has come off that hides fluid got on to them sorted straight away can't fault you direct bikes keep up good work oh and my bike is amazing thanks would recommend these

Recently got 2 python scooters and the service was outstanding. They were really patient explaining everything, we had loads of questions, back and fourth making our mind up. I gotta say they were fantastic 👍. Quality of scooters are very good. I will defo go back if we need more.

I bought a ninja scooter for my son's birthday and my son absolutely is in love. Worth every bit of money. Would highly recommend. They were so helpful and was quick on delivery.

After a lot of shopping around for a reasonably priced moped and checking used market places I could not find a better deal. Delivered to me next day, we'll packaged. Very strong build and fast acceleration. Definitely great value for money.

The delivery of my venon 125 scooter was fast and packaged perfectly. The scooter is very easy to set up and instructions are pretty clear.

we bought a bike from them around in may,later got stolen tried emailing direct bikes requesting parts,they’ve completely ignored us and slate you when you say anything negative on trust pilot its a disgrace all a big scam!

the only thing you’ve gone out of your way to do is ignore us all we want is the parts and you’ve failed to do so, how you can run a business like that i do not know, customer service is shocking and the way you speak to people when they have something to say about the organisational skills of your business is also poor

The delivery was prompt and the ninja scooter arrived in perfect condition. Every part of the scooter was well wrapped in foam to protect.
The scooter itself is fantastic and a joy to ride.

Absolutely amazing service throughout, I was looking for a maxi scooter. Chose their 125 venom model and selectef Saturday delivery. no problem, turned up 10am. Arrived in perfect condition.

I can honestly say I am delighted with the scooter. It has everything I could ever want. Ride is fantastic and very fast. Bonus to have keyless start and alarm.
