After researching for weeks, decided to take the plunge and ordered a python 125 online. Delivery was prompt and the scooter exceeded my expectations. Build quality is excellent. Been using it for food delivery shifts and it's holding up brilliantly even with daily heavy use. The storage space under seat fits my delivery bag perfectly which was an unexpected bonus.

Great people to buy a moped from. Kept me informed throughout. Delivery day went smoothly, could see the van coming on Google maps. Didn't have much time off work so was very useful. Moped came in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend this online shop.

I needed a moped to commute daily. They delivered exactly what I was a looking for, a powerful, durable and economical. The model I got was a venom. The distance it travels on a tank if petrol is very impressive. I only fill up once a week. Their customer service is well managed. Even after purchase they followed up to endure everything was OK. If you're thinking about buying a scooter you should use them. Keep up the good work.

I am considering to buy a bike however you cannot get through to anyone via telephone would have loved to receive some over the phone support however this has not been the case today considering the amount the scooters cost it would have been nice to speak to a person before considering my purchase may have to shop elswwhere

Does anyone know how to actually speak to a person at Direct bikes?

I ordered a Moped online which arrived today, however there is no paperwork of any kind or registration documents and I am unable to insure my scooter.

I have called the number listed on the website, but which ever department I request (aftersales, parts, sales) I receive a recorded message asking me to email, which is very unsettling

I will just have to wait to see if anyone contacts me.
Thankfully I have purchased on a credit card so not all is lost
**Update**
After my initial failure to contact Direct Bikes by phone, my subsequent emails requesting registration information (bikes are not pre-registered and costs an additional £55.00, details can be found in the FAQ) and a manual were answered promptly.

This is my first experience in purchasing a Moped so I probably required more assistance than a regular customer might need.

Customer services did try to contact me, however one of the phone numbers used was a withheld private number and the other number was different from that listed on the website, so I was unaware that I was being contacted by Direct Bikes

My queries have now been resolved and I am very satisfied with my overall experience and would recommend.

My actual bike (The Retro in Pink) is totally cool and I love it, I just have to wait another few weeks before I can ride it.

STAY AWAY! Bike failed in the first 10 miles, emailed them and asked them to get it looked at under warranty.
Their response was we don’t do warranty or refunds.

THE WORST COMPANY EVER STAY AWAY FROM IT I BOTH A BRAND NEW SCOOTER AND IS NOT WORKING CUSTOMER SUPORT 0 IF U DONT BELIEVED ME JUST GO TO ANY SCOOTER SERVICE AND ASK ABOUT THEM AND U GOING TO UNDERSTAND AL THE NICE COMENTS AND RATE ARE FROM BOTS

I bought my 50cc Ninja in July. Delivery was prompt and efficient. I didn’t know that I had to register it with DVLA myself which turned out to be a bit of a pain, a 5 week pain to be honest. Anyway I was then able to tax it and bingo I was on the road at last. Now November I have done 1600 miles and had it serviced 3 times so far. Another downside is the fact that no one really wants to take it on, the 3 service centres they recommended to me didn’t want to know. I eventually found a very decent mechanic who did. On the whole it is proving to be a cheap reliable run around. Would I buy again? Probably not. I will go to a main dealer and buy peace of mind with a more expensive brand.
