Traded in our Swift at the end of last season and took delivery of a Coachman in March. George Harris handled our business from start to finish with regular updates and a great personal touch.

Not only is George a wealth of knowledge he is patient, friendly, thorough and a great communicator. At no time did we feel like we had become another number in the sales office. It truly felt like a personalised service. From purchase to collection his attention to detail was second to none. We used Salop Leisure for storage of our Motorhome and were over the moon with the service. More than once while we were away in another country we received an alert from the Motorhome that the Alarm was triggered. Each time we called straight away and spoke to Sian. She immediately headed over to the Storage yard and checked on the van. Not only that, but to give peace of mind, took photos of the Motorhome to show all was ok.

A really professional and human service that is lacking from so many other places these days.

It was a great visit from start to finish - lovely to engage so many different Salop employees on my two day visit - reception, customer service, repair, cafe, shop, Love2Stay - and to experience a consistency of friendliness and helpfulness across them all, all orchestrated perfectly by George Harris who is ever so attentive and thoughtful. A delight to be there and looking forward to the next time.

Bought our original tourer eight years ago (after many, many months of procrastination!) so hardly regular repeat customers but we were still welcomed warmly by the original salesman, George Harris, when we decided it really was time for a replacement. Didn’t dither quite as much on this occasion and even though it was clear we weren’t looking at the highest priced ranges we were given an equivalent level of service. We (eventually!) narrowed it down to a choice of two and had actually decided on one before George suggested that we had another think as he had spotted a very good reason that the other alternative would suit us better...as it turned out that advice was spot on and saved us a costly mistake. We opted for a Sprite Major 4 SB, thus gaining the luxury of a fixed bed but retaining the simple and uncluttered feel of our previous Sprite Alpine: everything you need to hand, stylish, comfortable (and no superfluous bling!)

Collection went smoothly with George handing us over to Peter who went through the essentials whilst explaining new features and sharing useful tips. We then moved onto Love2Stay, Salop’s extensive site, for a complimentary night’s stay. I believe this is included as standard and is really useful as any problems can be quickly identified and speedily rectified. Our only issues were a tiny flaw on a worktop edge, which was promptly dealt with, and a problem with the sink draining properly. The latter was looked into and partially fixed but we need to see how it performs on our next trip. This isn’t a concern as if it’s still not draining properly I’m confident Salop will sort it.

We are so thrilled with our new tourer that I’m surprised we didn’t consider changing it earlier although in our defence there were various reasons for this, chiefly that we were enjoying the one we had, but also this was the first model that ticked every box in terms of layout and style. We’ll continue to have a look round every time we return to storage and may wish to upgrade more frequently in the future. If so, I sincerely hope that George is still available as he’s very knowledgeable and really good at interpreting and meeting his customers’ requirements. We’ll give him a wave as we pass but avoid the temptation to stop for a chat as he will doubtless be busy as usual, working through his queue of returning customers with his customary aplomb!

After purchasing our first caravan in 2021, we were hooked and that was due to the support and time we received by our sales person George. So much so that we upsized our caravan last year and again the care we received by George was amazing. We have just booked it in for it's service and George always checks on how we are getting on and takes the time to make sure everything is okay. We do not live locally to Salop Leisure but will travel to receive the excellent customer service.

Just purchased our third caravan from Salop Leisure and couldn't be happier with the service we have received, as always! We find them to be genuinely very caring and astute, especially George in sales and all of the after-sales team. Keep doing what you do so well and we will be back.

We have been utilising Salop's Leisure's storage services for the past 3-4 years. Their staff are highly personable, professional and flexible in making sure they look after all our storage needs. The site feels extremely safe and secure and we are always well looked after by the lovely Sian Rees. We would highly recommend them.

Rang Salop to inform them our gas struts had failed on our 2 year old ABI Harlech static caravan. We were assured that we were covered under the three year warranty and they contacted ABI to obtain parts.
We received a call from Salop to say that ABI were contacted and they were not honouring the warranty as the parts should have failed sooner. I find this hard to accept as we are only 8st and 10st 7lb respectively and the static does not get regular use.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SOMETIMES A WARRANTY MEANS NOTHING.
ps had a quote from Salop for £280.00 plus vat to replace the parts, I dont think I will bother as they are likely to fail again in no time. I will wait for the warranty to run out ( it has already you say ?) then fit some sturdy wood to support the bedframe. Just a shame the gas struts will be obsolete........

1st visit was at the West Midlands caravan and motorhome show 2023, where my wife and I had a good look at everything on offer and decided upon the layout we preferred.
We spoke with James and asked about part-exchanging our motorhome.
There was no pressure to sell, and no rushing us.
James' advice was to go home and think about it, and leave a deposit if we wished.
I returned the next day viewed the caravan again, and eventually sought out James, where we had a long conversation about how the company provided warranty/service etc, and made every point clear.
His concise non pushy sales technique was a very fresh experience for me.
I took delivery of my van 3 weeks or so later and to be fair I am very pleased with it.
There have been a couple of minor niggles, but they were dealt with straight away, giving me the confidence that if anything should go wrong in the future, it would be dealt with in the same efficient and proffesional maner.
So, thank you very much to James and the service team for making the purchase a pleasant and easy experience.
