I purchased the Genmitsu 4030 V2 from SainSmart. I had some trouble getting it going and was a little rude to their customer service team and it ended up being user error because I thought I was too smart to make simple mistakes. The customer service team was very helpful in spite of my rudeness. The machine is working as expected and I am excited to get to work with it. I bought the 700w CNC spindle. After installing I noticed a 0.25 runout (measured with micrometer). I contacted support and send a movie as proof. They immediately replied and send me a replacement (which was ok with 0.05mm runout) for free. I could even keep the faulty one. Top notch customer experience and support!

Really helpful and supportive in getting my 4040 working with the new XZ axis, turning my 4040 pro into a 4040 pro max! But more than that having bought a genmitsu 1.5kw vfd to go with it, I realised I didn’t have the correct mounting bracket. The team were incredibly helpful and worked with me over several days to help me. They sent me a new bracket which fitted perfectly allows me to get everything working, the vfd is fantastic and so much quieter than the previous spindle.

i entered the surprise promotion. I received something just a few days later that not only can I not use, but I was informed that it was part of the promotion. I did not see this item in the promotion material. Also, a big surprise is that the item I received retails for about the same price as the surprise entry cost! I'm not pleased with the surprise of my surprise.

I am very thankful that I choose SainSmart as my initial foray into CNC and purchased the Genmitsu 4040 Pro Max desktop CNC Router.
I had no problems with the initial setup of the machine which, I think, well designed and but with quality materials. No belts, powerful router, precise machining. All parts fit snugly and without force.
Documentation could use some improvement. Putting together the machine was clear and complete. However, initial running and configuring could be improved to make it clear. In my case the booklet that came with the machine didn't mention a "Power Button" nor it's location. (dumb mistake on my part maybe.)
But I put in a help request and the Support from the company immediately responded! I am VERY happy with the quick response and with the quality of the product.

So far I am really happy with the 4040 Pro Max and the service received from SainSmart - prompt answering of my questions to solve my problems.

Customer support agent was very responsive and followed up after my order arrived to ensure I got it and everything was correct.

Great communication, troubleshooting and resolution

I was having problems with my pro-max 4040 after downloading the new update for gsender that I use to control my machine so after emailing SainSmart because of time zones and it was at the weekend I didn’t expect correspondence right away but it virtually did, and with a couple of solutions to the problem was having. The solutions that Jamie sent helped solve my problems. So great correspondence and expertise. Also good to know that SainSmart have my back if anything else needs fixing

I have their CNC for 4 years and I didn't have any issues until recently . I contacted them and within 24 hours I received a reply which solved my issue. This is the kind of service you expect !
