i had a lovely smooth experience with the staff i encountered at safe store! Special mentions include Josh for helping and yapping with me when it came to registration and storing! He was very helpful.

Another mention is Numi for the callback and ease with application and better deals like paying £1 for storage! Very friendly and helpful as I was storing temporarily.

Well what can I say.
I'd booked a unit with Luke when he took me to see the unit I realised it was too small, Luke offered me a bigger one at no extra cost which I was flabbergasted by this.
Units and floors were very clean.
All the staff in Safestore were very professional and warm.
I'd definitely recommend Safestore at Old Trafford to everyone.

We have rented a unit from Safestore in Old Trafford. From the very first contact they have been excellent. Adriana was particularly amazing handing us in a very stressed situation. The degree of flexibility she offered was exactly what we needed to calm our nerves. She was very professional, empathetic and incredibly helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Watch out for these people. I had a unit for 6 years. Ended with them selling family possessions via dubious ebay sellers.

Customer service was amazing. They spent almost an hour for a site visit and helped me to compare different units and to consider future scenarios. Prices were also reasonable.

I was having my cellar converted so I put everything we had from there into a storage unit at Safestore Manchester (Old Trafford). Four weeks later they called me to say someone had been in my unit. They didn't even have to the break the lock, they just pryed the metal door enough so it would open. They took my road bike and a number of power tools.

Now, in fairness, the manager and staff were very understanding and helpful. They moved all my belongings to another unit free of charge.

*The £3000 insurance policy covers the replacement of items for their original value. There was a lot of junk in the unit, but I listed it accurately for the original price, even though it wasn't stolen. This exceeded the insurance policy, which meant the bike and tools valuation was accordingly downgraded. Effectively, I now can't replace the items with what they paid back, like for like.

Frustratingly, Greater Manchester Police weren't interested in coming to collect the extensive CCTV footage Safestore had of the culprit. Eventually, (six weeks later) the police did start to act and figured out who it was and put out an arrest warrant for them. Six months after that they picked him up and charged him. No items have been returned and no compensation is forthcoming.

I really wish I hadn't stored them at Safestore.

OLD TRAFFORD BRANCH

It was going so well! Until they wanted to charge me £15 because I called the day money was coming out of my account for a payment that had declined, so I quickly rang up and they said that we cannot take payment as we have to wait for notification that it declined and because of this they are charging me a £15 fine! Even though I said I can pay now, the day it's coming out he still refused then thrown T&C'S AT ME, we were hoping to keep the items there until January 2023 but are now moving it all to a different provider! So so disappointed with this kind of service! Just to warn people in case you miss your DD on the day your going to get charged!!!

Safestore Trafford staff were really great. Patient and helpful during an already challenging time. The initial discount rates were good as well. Very grateful to Luke and the team and would use again.

Safestore donate a unit to my charity and this has been a massive help through covid. Facility is well kept, and staff are friendly and helpful.
