Don’t be fooled by the negative reviews, I ordered a pair of shoes that was £30 cheaper than any other website I decided to risk it and I am very pleased with the shoes. Arrived on time and i did not encounter any issue.

I was a little uncertain about ordering from this company due to mixed reviews - as it turned out they were brilliant. The trainers I purchased (Skechers) were the best price I could find on the internet and I’m really pleased with them. They kept me informed of delivery and actually delivered earlier than advised. I would definitely recommend them and try not to be put off by the bad reviews as some customers may not have received a good service and will be more inclined to put up a review. I don’t usually write reviews but after seeing all the negative reviews for this company, I felt I had to. I’m glad I ignored all the negative reviews. I bought a pair of kickers shoes for kids at a heavily discounted price and it was delivered to me within 2 days by Evri! The shoes were perfect and delivery cost only £2.50 since the shoes were below the £30 free delivery price. I’m used to paying £5+ for delivery. Since the shoes were heavily discounted even after adding the delivery cost it was still at least £15 cheaper than other retailers so all in all one very happy customer.

“FREE DELIVERY” - I DON’T THINK SO
Potential buyers beware. Despite the claims of “Free Delivery” on their website, you may be charged (presently a minimum of £4:98)! Apparently this is because they also have a warehouse in France. However the only indication of the product’s origin is a charge added to the foot of an order. And although not illegal in the strictest sense, one could be forgiven for thinking their bold claim of “Free Delivery” is grossly misleading?

Further delivery information can be found if you click "Delivery" - "How much does delivery cost and how long does it take?"
This further details the delivery costs and delays.
Returns are free no matter which warehouse and it is only the delivery cost that changes with the warehouse.

Stupidly I got sucked in to the heavily discounted first order emails and didn’t check reviews. Ordered June 28th. Delivery was supposed to be 4th July but Evir haven’t even received the trainers yet.
Can’t email the company. There’s no link. Can’t get hold of them. £50 taken from my account which I’ll have to get back through Visa if they’re not on the way by the end of the week.
Gutted as I love the choice on the site.

I was so hesitant to purchase after reading all the terrible reviews but I really wanted the pair of Fit Flops they had on their site as they are older stock and I cannot get them anywhere else. So I took the plunge and bought them. They arrived 2 days later, the correct size and all perfect. Very happy!

Completely disreputable company
Completely disreputable company. Sent me the incorrect item twice. Have had my money for nearly a month and are refusing to refund me until I have sent the incorrect item, that they sent twice, back to them. Spouting some bull**** about system won't let them. Don't care about your systems, I care that you have breached your contract by sending the incorrect item twice (once a mistake, twice incompetence) and are refusing to refund me immediately due to your error. You are a morally bankrupt company and should be ashamed of yourselves. Order from these at your own risk... I wouldn't chance it if I was you. And they won't phone you but are more than happy for you to phone them only to hear their pathetic excuses for their error and refusal to refund. Really, do not touch this dreadful company with a barge pole.

I am sorry that you had received the wrong size twice. It appears that despite all the care taken in the preparation of orders, yours does not correspond to the standards in force and has escaped the vigilance usually put in our warehouses.
I would like to personally apologize for the inconvenience and assure you of my understanding of your disappointment.
As we explained over email and on the phone, it is not possible to refund your order until you have least placed the return at the drop-off point. I understand that this is frustrating as you have been wronged by receiving the wrong size, but this unfortunately does not change that you need to at least return the item before we can refund you.
Rest assured, your refund will be processed as soon as possible. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address linked to your customer account.
Again, I am sorry that you feel we are not a reputable company. I would like to apologise for your experience and wish a good day.

Brilliant? (Spoiler alert - No!)
I seem to repeating what others have already said! Free delivery? Ah yes, except for that tricky asterix! And you have to get as far as the payment page to find out if the order will ship from France (and so attract a delivery charge). Brilliant!
And then it takes a while to arrive - especially as they use Evri, possibly the least reliable service. We were eventually notified of a delivery (later in the same day), but that was subsequently cancelled, and the parcel finally then turned up 2 days after that. Brilliant!
And finally when it does arrive, they’ve just sent the wrong size anyway so you then have to take the parcel to a collection hub to make up for their mistake. Brilliant!
There are so many companies that make online retail a real pleasure. Rubbersole is NOT one of them. I’d seriously suggest you spend your money anywhere else…

The website is very deceptive
The website is very deceptive. They promote free deliver but happily add £4.98 when you go to pay. You cannot check out as a guest, you are forced to register. Oh, they say sign up for a newsletter to get £5 off - well, no, this does not apply to discounted items. Scam. Student discount - another hoax, the link is dead! Also, no business address on website - dodgy.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the Free delivery banner.
I am sorry that you feel the banner is misleading. We do offer free delivery and returns yet there is an asterix * which explains the details further when clicked upon.
For all orders placed on Rubbersole.co.uk, we use 2 warehouses; one is located in the UK (Peterborough) and the other one in France (our central warehouse).
For all items coming from our UK warehouse, delivery is free of charge with Evri Standard or 3.99 for Evri Express. After Brexit took place, we had to stop all shipments from France momentarily due to logistical reasons. We have now managed to activate shipping for items coming from the French warehouse, but unfortunately delivery is not free for these items. For orders coming from our French warehouse, delivery is £4.99 for Evri standard delivery.
You can tell where your item is coming from based on which delivery fee is being offered when you proceed to the payment page.
I also am sorry to hear that you could not find a coupon, if you contact our customer service then we can provide you a coupon but please note that coupons do not work on items which are already on sale.

NEVER BUY AGAIN
I order a pair of sandals on the 22nd May for my holiday on the 8th June. Still have not received the sandals. Spoke to customer service and confirmed they will chase my order and get back to me, still not had any communication back called again and the offices are always closed. So at the moment I don't have any sandals or money back. Do not purchase from this company!!!! I only gave one star so I could leave this review!!!!

Best Experience in buying 'Amazing' footwear ever!
Shopping originally early May & desperate for some sandals with great style...plus a 'bit of edge' which I like...it was just a totally amazing experience. The lovely people at Rubbersole.co.uk really seemed to help and I've now just placed another order and bought just what I wanted 'hopefully' once again.
They even suggest what size will fit the best...depending on the sandals or boots & that was great...saves having to buy several pairs...with the hassle of returning them!!!
I will definitely be a regular & thoroughly recommend shopping with them 100%

Not 3 day delivery as advertised
The website advertised same day shipping if ordered early in the day and 3 day delivery.
I placed my order Monday 13th may expecting delivery that week. It actually got delivered on the Monday 20th may which is not a 3 day delivery.
Other than that everything good with communication etc.

I apologise for the delay in the delivery of your order. For all orders placed on Rubbersole, we use two warehouses. One located in the UK and another in France. Orders coming from the French warehouse can have some delays as it has to go farther.

I apologise that you had trouble contacting us. Please know our customer service is located in France and has exceptional closures during any French national holidays. For example, May 8th and May 9th of this year.
For all orders placed on Rubbersole, we also either use our warehouse in Peterborough or our central warehouse in the South of France. As your order is coming from our warehouse in France, you were quoted a delivery time frame of between
Friday, May 10, 2024 and Monday, May 13, 2024 at checkout.
I understand this has been delayed, again due to the French holidays, and we have refunded your delivery charge to apologise.
Unfortunately, this was an unavoidable delay and we do apologise for that.

Terrible - definitely avoid
I ordered some Betty London shoes for my wife. On opening the box they had sent odd shoes. I ordered the same shoes from Spartoo a few weeks ago and also received odd shoes. Possibly the same odd pair! Appears Rubbersole and Spartoo are the same company?? Clearly not a mistake but company policy. Was offered a discount from Spartoo if I spent over £70 last time. Won’t be shopping with either company again. Avoid both Rubbersole and Spartoo at all
Costs!!!!

I am sorry that you have had a bad experience on our website and received odd shoes. I have contacted our warehouse about this error so they can check if there is a similar issue with other shoe boxes with the model you have ordered.
Also, Spartoo is indeed our parent company and we use the same warehouses. I believe when you returned the item the first time, the warehouse put it back in stock because they appear to be the same shoes at first glance (same colour and same shape) but they are slightly different styles. I am sorry that you have had to experience this unfortunate error.
