I'm surprised to read so many negative comments about Rosa Clara, London. My daughter and I were very pleased with their service.
The first session was quite hard-sell, but the team listened to what my daughter wanted and were happy to offer a range of different styles. My daughter had already tried several dresses and when she found the right one at Rosa Clara, we were happy to commit to the purchase on the day, so qualifying for the free fittings.
The subsequent fitting sessions were helpful and respectful. Our stylist, Paulina, was endlessly patient and all the staff whom we met seemed to firmly live the ethos that a bride can't be too fussy and should have exactly what she wants for her wedding dress. Paulina was especially supportive and no detail was too much for her. Her finish was very professional and after a number of fittings, the dress was perfect. It was beautifully designed and looked superb.
Appointments were arranged out of office hours and the company was as flexible as they could be. The wedding celebrations took place over 2 days and Paulina also offered to make any repairs in between if there were any problems after the 1st day.
(My only quibble was that I asked them afterwards for recommendations for dry cleaning, but they failed to get back to me as promised, and I soon gave up asking). Overall, however, we were delighted with the choice of both the gown and the company.

Bought two dresses in their shop in Madrid, one for myself and one for the mother of the bride, and the experience was perfect! From the first appointment we made, we were attended by a very professional assistant who took out dozens of dresses for us to try and was very patient with us.
The prices are high, ours were in the 700 - 800 Euro framework, but it was expected, so came as no surprise. The follow-up appointments were with their tailors to get the perfect fit and the experience was equally as professional.
I would definitely recommend their Madrid shops.

Horrible! Me han estafado! No hay nada que ver la parte de adelante de mi vestido con lo de atrás! Es una vergüenza! Cuando les dije me respondieron con toda la cara dura que en la web están retocadas! Me han destrozado la ilusión y la boda!

My experience with Rosa Clará London has been distressing. As a first-time bride, I relied on their guidance when selecting my dress, but critical information about veil lead times was never disclosed and effort on dress + veil suitability from the stylist was nonexistent.

What makes this worse is the way my concerns were handled. My words were twisted, my fiancé was treated rudely when he tried to clarify the truth, and the manager dismissed my request for fairness.

I feel misled and let down by the lack of transparency and care shown throughout this process. I am still fighting to get my deposit refunded, despite the fact that I was denied essential information that would have changed my decision from the start - withholding such critical information amounts to misrepresentation and a failure of duty of care, and I am now having to start a legal process.

Brides deserve transparency, kindness, and professionalism. I would NOT recommend this shop, please be cautious before trusting them with your special day.

Nada funciona bien,empleadas poca experiencia , desagradables , modistas incompetentes .Mi hija compro su vestido de novia con más de año y medio de antelación,en la primera prueba ya hubo problemas , le tomaron las medidas mal , las mangas le apretaban, dijeron que no había problema que le hacían otras, cuando volvimos a probar le hacían arrugas por todos los lados y le metieron una pieza debajo del brazo .No me voy a este der mucho porque si no nunca acabaría. El caso es que llegó la boda y no nos habíamos fijado, pero llegó el cóctel y veo que las mangas eran de otra tela y distinto blanco, pero no arruinarle un día tan importante lo sufrí yo sola, pero amigas muy íntimas se lo dijeron, imaginaros que día pasó mi hija, no se lo deseo ni al peor enemigo, lo que tenia que a ver sido un día feliz , termino en un día para no olvidar de la tristeza de la novia. Quiero decir que fue muy mala experiencia , mal trato con personal y modista deprimente, parece mentira una casa con tanto renombre que no esté más al tanto de lo que está pasando

Compramos el vestido un año y medio antes de la boda, mi hija y yo(Rosa Clará Coruña)trato exquisito. El problema es a los dos meses de la boda , el traje ya estaba arreglado previamente a la prueba por unas medidas de año y medio antes, ( medidas mal tomadas porque en ningún momento las ha tenido).El vestido le aprieta pero le sirve. Ante tal despropósito les indico que como no nos han llamado antes de encargar el traje(6 meses según la tienda) y me indican que es política de la empresa pues nos comprometemos a no engordar( inaudito). En las sucesivas pruebas el vestido cada vez le queda peor a mi hija y ante tal situación le ofrecen la opción de un modelo similar pero que no se puede retirar la cola, aceptamos ( modelo más barato). El día que vamos a recogerlo, vestido de la novia mal planchado( Lo tuvimos que llevar a planchar)y mi vestido tiene un agujero donde acaba la cremallera y no está redondo el bajo( Es lo único que tenían que arreglar) por lo que también tuve que acudir a una modista.
En contacto con la tienda me indican que vuelva que me lo arreglan ( al principio de malas formas” Quieres que te lleve el taller a casa”) pero nos negamos pues lo que no han arreglado en 2 meses no me arriesgo a que lo arreglen en una tarde.Por otro lado nos regalan la bata y el camisón en una talla más pequeña , al comunícarselo nos piden disculpas y punto.
En resumen buen trato pero reglas empresariales absurdas y servicio postventa pésimo.

Muy mala atención en la tienda de Castellón. Las dependientas cada vez te atienden unas... Además no se enteran de la misa la mitad. La modista muy mal trato y una incompetente, después de 5 pruebas ... mi vestido de novia 5 días antes de mi boda aún lo tenía mal arreglado de la espalda .Era abierta, y me la montó ..y encima me echaba la culpa a mí que tenía yo la espalda mal. Cuando ella no me lo arreglo bien por no saber hacer las cosas correctamente, ya que me hizo una chapuza de arreglo.
Para colmo habiendo hecho los pagos por transferencia los 3 pagos correspondientes, porque así lo dijeron las dependientas ,el día antes de mi boda va a recoger el vestido mi madre teniendo el vestido pagado... Enseñando el justificante del último pago y habiendo enviado el justificante en el momento que se realizo la transferencia,que se había realizado 5 días antes ,no se lo querían dar y le querían hacer pagar otra vez el último pago del vestido.Y para rematar..el día de mi boda abro el vestido y todo arrugado sin planchar .... Fui a poner una hoja de reclamaciones pero no sé hacen responsables de nada.... ¡Una vergüenza!
Si no queréis tener disgustos con vuestro vestido de novia no vayáis a este lugar. Vergüenza con el nombre que tiene está firma y lo que valen los vestidos que permitan estás cosas. No volveremos jamás .
Muy decepcionada con esta firma en todos los aspectos, el trato al cliente es pésimo.

Estuve en diciembre, en la tienda de la calle Játiva de Valencia, buscando ropa para mi por un evento y la atención fue pésima

Un año antes de la boda, la novia eligió el modelo. A tres mese para la boda en la primera prueba, la madre de la novia ve que la tela es de una calidad muy inferior a la que tenia el modelo escogido.
Le aseguran que no. Pide ver el modelo de la primera prueba y se confirma que la tela no es la misma i que estàn las mangas mal cosidas y con otra tela diferente, tosca y sin caida.
NADIE de las experimentadas vendedoras, modista ni directora se habia dado cuenta.
Pocas disculpas , pero parece que van a corregir la tela basta que trajeron por el crep real del modelo con mas caida,....pero ahora los arreglos no van a entrar en el presupuesto.
No hay profesionales competentes?.... después de las opiniones que he leido creo que la empresa deberia plantearse no ser solo fachada y no mercadear beneficios a costa de temas sensibles como es un vestido de novia y el esfuerzo econimico de muchas familias que se sienten tratadas como si fueran idiotas.

Mi experiencia la verdad no ha sido muy buena en la tienda de Valencia calle jativa. El día se la entrega me perdieron el vestido y cuando lo encontraron lo plancharon tas aprisa que lo plancharon mal y cuando llegue a casa que no tarde más que 10 minutos ya lo tenía todo arrugado.
La verdad a mí me ha ido muy mal.Ma han atendido dos personas, la primera Raquel muy bien , pero la última muy mal.

Extremely Disappointed – Unprofessional and Rude Experience

We flew into Lisbon and had an appointment at Rosa Clará specifically to find a mother-of-the-bride dress for my mom. We came prepared, having shortlisted several elegant maxi dresses with elbow-length sleeves from their website. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing like what we expected from a brand of this caliber.

First, we were told that the dresses we had selected were only available in large sizes and—shockingly—they do not offer any alterations to adjust the fit. That alone was disappointing, but things went from bad to worse.

The selection they had in-store was completely different from what was featured online—none of the styles matched what we had come to try. When we asked about the discrepancy, the host responded with an offensive and completely inappropriate comment, saying they “don’t have anything that fits our culture.” Excuse me? What culture is she referring to, when the styles we wanted were directly from their own website? This kind of remark felt not only ignorant but borderline racist. There's no place for that kind of tone or attitude in a professional setting.

Thankfully, our trip wasn’t solely for this appointment. We visited another boutique on the same street, where my mom found four stunning options with incredible service and respect. Rosa Clará, you lost a customer—not just because you didn’t have the dresses, but because of the uneducated and narrow-minded attitude of your staff.

My wife and I visited the Malaga branch on Tuesday she liked a dress and although it needed some alterations the girl assured her they would be no problem and there seamstress would make it perfect. We returned 2 days later and to say she was disappointed was an understatement they said they could sort it out they tried twice but each time they only made things worse my wife was very upset and asked for her money back there was 4 of them around her and were very intimidating and rude and told us we had to buy the dress it was awful I asked to speak to the manager she came and was as rude as the rest of them avoid this place at all costs. We left with a dress I don’t think she will ever wear.

I flew from Italy to Madrid specifically to visit Rosa Clará’s flagship store, believing it would be a premium experience. I purchased a dress under the promise that all customizations could be made to fit my vision perfectly. Alterations were included, requiring me to return to Madrid for fittings.

What actually happened? Lies, incompetence, and gaslighting.

My dress was not made to my measurements as I was lead to believe- it was a straight size, completely ill-fitting.
The customization I was explicitly told was possible (closing sheer bodice panels) was suddenly not possible. I had to compromise, and they used mismatched lace that did not blend with my dress.
After three rounds of tailoring, the bodice still did not fit. Their “solution”? They told me to tape myself into it.
I was pressured to sign a Spanish document, misled about its content, and left Madrid with a dress that was completely wrong.
Rosa Clará headquarters in Barcelona has ignored my emails and calls. They refuse to issue a refund or cover additional tailoring costs.
Two months before my wedding, I am now scrambling to find a new dress. Rosa Clará overpromises, underdelivers, and disappears when they ruin your dress. Avoid them at all costs.

We came for an appointment having sent several emails and telephone calls over the last month or so regarding my requirements for a dress for my daughter’s wedding.

We arrived, after an early morning flight to find the store literally had one dress in my size to offer me and not the dress I was interested in or any remotely like it. I would also point out the dresses I was offered to try were all clicked and not imperfect sale order.

Having flown from Portugal, via Edinburgh, my daughter had flown in from NYC we were extremely upset.

This situation could have been explained to me before my wasted trip and to be perfectly honest it is not what or how Rosa Clara should operate and treat its customers.

What a completely horrible experience waste of thousands of pounds, and to be treated with such contempt with a take it or leave it couldn’t care less attitude was really beyond the pale .. would not recommend.

I really wish I had read the reviews already posted as this poor level of service seems to be on par for the Rosa Clara store in London

Si van a comprar en Rosa Clará Almería revisen sus trajes con lupa , al salir de la tienda no quieren saber nada, es más,culpan al cliente de los defectos del vestido. Imperdonable para una firma tan prestigiosa. Deberían vigilar a quién confían sus diseńos.

Beyond disappointed with my experience at Rosa Clara in Coral Gables. What was supposed to be an exciting time turned into a nightmare filled with deceit, unprofessionalism, and unethical behavior.

I visited the store in February 2024, over a year before my wedding, to purchase what I thought would be my dream wedding dress. They took my measurements and assured me that the dress in my size would be ordered from Spain and ready for a first fitting in December. When December came, I was shocked and heartbroken to find that the dress they gave me was several sizes too big and missing the signature sleeves that were supposed to come with it.

Instead of admitting their mistake, the store manager insisted the alterations team could fix the oversized dress to fit me. After a lot of back-and-forth, they finally acknowledged the error and promised to order a new dress in my correct size, which would be ready in January 2025. However, what followed was a month of poor communication where I had to send emails and repeatedly beg for updates, only to be left in the dark.

When the dress finally “arrived”, my nightmare continued. The sleeves on the dress were completely wrong—nothing like the original ones I’d seen when I first fell in love with the dress. They staff even tried to convince me that these new sleeves were "better" and that the original ones were now “out of style.”

But the worst part was discovering that this still wasn’t a new dress in my size. They had hung a new tag on the outside of the dress that said size 36, making it look like it was the correct size. However, upon inspecting the inside of the dress, my mom and I found clear evidence on the inside tag that this was the same size 42 dress I was given back in December, just altered to fit me.

Instead of delivering the brand-new dress I ordered, they altered the larger dress, lied to my face, and tried to pass it off as new. I felt deceived and robbed of the chance and time to find a new dress elsewhere. This process caused me so much unnecessary stress during what should have been a joyful time. With only one month left to find a new dress, I ultimately asked for my money back because I would rather walk away with no dress than continue doing business with this store.

If you’re considering Rosa Clara in Coral Gables, I strongly advise you to think twice. They don’t value their customers or the importance of their wedding day. Save yourself the heartache and go somewhere that treats you with honesty and respect.

Pérdida de tiempo absoluta. Después de hablar durante 10 días con Macarena sobre las opciones que tenían para mí y avisando de que íbamos desde León llegamos y nos encontramos con que por diversos motivos no tienen nada de lo que habíamos hablado para ofrecerme. La excusa de la persona que nos recibe ( María Angeles, encargada de la tienda) por la que no han avisado es que el personal está de vacaciones. Profesionalidad cero.

For every future potential bride, please read this review before even considering setting foot in Rosa Clara. While the shop itself has beautiful dresses, the way it is managed is poor and are professional con artists.

Yesterday, my daughter, her sister and some close friends all sat down with one of the stylists (I will not mention names) who went through with my daughter her budget and what she is looking for in terms of style. At first we thought how professional the stylist was and focused on my daughters needs and expectations. We spent two hours overall in the store and tried on some beautiful dresses.

My daughter then thought she found the dress that she would wear for her wedding. We were all ecstatic and happy for her. When it came to the final price the stylist brought us the invoice and it all looked legitimate.

When it came to questions about alterations my daughter asked if the dress could be shipped to Singapore (my daughter is permanently based there) the stylist said it would be possible but then said if she had the alterations done in London that they would be complimentary and that we need not pay as that is part of their service. My daughter said that this may not be possible as it would be far too expensive to fly back and forth from Singapore. The stylist assured my daughter that not too many alterations are needed and that they could all be done in a month before the wedding, even a few weeks before. My sister agreed and asked for the final price.

Now here is where we started to see the con side of the business:

As we were heading out the door and we discussed about payment method, the stylist said that 50% had to be paid for the dress right now. When my daughter asked if she could have a few days to think about it as she had to discuss with her fiancé the stylist said this was not a problem.

The next day, after speaking with her fiancé it was agreed the price of the dress can fit within their budget. My daughter then emailed the store just to be told that the proposed discount of free fittings and free veil will NOT apply since she did not agree to the 50% purchase immediately.

The difference in price was not that big to be a real consideration. However, the thing that alerted me and her fiancé was that we were not told that this discount/service was only applicable if we agreed to purchase ON the day.

You might call this a minor thing however, any financial discrepancy and failure to mention all the conditions undermines credibility of any business. If we went through, it is guaranteed that further loopholes regarding finances would have come up.

Please read the reviews on TRUST PILOT when it comes to any wedding dress boutique. My daughter only considered ROSA CLARA as an option as all the google reviews are positive

Como empleada,y con puesto de responsabilidad que me ofrecieron, una auténtica vergüenza,llevo 20 años en el sector retail y jamás pensé que una firma de lujo como supuestamente dicen que son...tuvieran tan mala gestión.
Mis compañeras han sido un encanto conmigo.....pero la directora y el área mánager con muy poca profesionalidad.
Firmé un contrato como administración de tienda y Assistant store Mánager y resulta que después de 3 semanas...en ningún momento se me formó,mi opinión no contaba,me borraban mis opiniones en el chat de la tienda de wasap y de un día para otro,sin explicarme nada antes...me sacan del probador donde atendía a una novia, me entregan un papel donde me bajan de categoría y sueldo y me dicen que tengo que firmarlo en el momento obligatoriamente,que han pensado que es mejor aprender desde cero,cuando el tercer día ya me dieron llaves para abrir y cerrar tienda y me dijeron que me encargara del equipo, de hacerlas vender y estar pendiente de ellas.
La gestión fatal y la formación totalmente nula, llegué con mucha ilusión pq pensé que sería muy buena oportunidad para seguir avanzando en mi trayectoria profesional y me ha sorprendido muchísimo ésta mala organización y poca responsabilidad.espero que en otras tiendas no ocurra lo mismo,y cumplan con lo que se firma y se habla en la entrevista,y sobre todo que tengan claro que quieren contratar antes de seguir con los procesos,(La de Velázquez 51 en Madrid deja mucho que desear).
