I am always sceptical about buying plants through the post but this company have everything covered. I'm so impressed. Their information is spot on, their packing is brilliant and the plants all survived the journey.
The choice of seedlings is excellent, they source plants I've never seen offered anywhere else.
I've tried every plants through the post company and some are better than others many get it almost spot on. I had no reason to contact customer service but replacements are offered with a photo of the plants.
I've no hesitation in recommending them.

I was extremely lucky to receive a Mini Year Round Veg Patch gift voucher from a friend this year. So far I've received two deliveries of the most beautifully packaged, carefully pre-grown vegetable plant plugs which has (frankly helped me leap-frog the hardest part of growing from seed) and allow me to plan out my raised beds with a bit more promise. Growing is new to me, as it's only my second year - but I can see that this is a game changer already! Brilliant company to deal with. Loads of delivery communication. Splendid service!!

Just wanted to say how pleased I was with the veg plants delivered today.
I have tried others like Marshalls and Suttons, but always been let down with damaged or dead plants, the couriers couldn't give a damn about live plant delivery. They've been obviously shaken around or even delivered upside down even when clearly marked.

I like your packaging, and this enables a small leway for the courier delivery "accidents" to be kept to a minimum.

I ordered a couple of things and found the price reasonable. I found there was a large selection and some quite interesting plugs. I received my order yesterday and the plants look lovely and healthy. I was particularly impressed with how they were packaged. They were done with such care and it looked lovely! (Almost felt like I was unwrapping gifts) Thank you! I will certainly order again.

Ordered quite a few veg plants. On delivery some were snapped or half dead. I emailed complaining they sent only half of what died. Lo and behold these died too. I also had plants from 3 other places all of which are doing great. Definitely wouldn’t buy from here again.

What sets Rocket Garden apart from other garden produce suppliers is their exceptional customer service. They genuinely listen, act quickly, and resolve issues without any fuss.

I accidentally placed a duplicate order and, before I even had a chance to email them, I received a message from Aston asking if I'd meant to place two orders and whether I'd like a refund. This was at 7pm, which really impressed me.

The quality of their products is also consistently excellent. I've been buying plants and plugs for my allotment from Rocket Garden for the past two years, and they have never let me down.

Their packaging is another area where they stand out. The plugs arrive in a sturdy box with clear labels and instructions. Even individually wrapped plug plants are carefully packaged in brown paper, clearly labelled, and always arrive in superb condition. Best of all, the packaging is compostable, from the paper wrapping to the robust cardboard box.

There's also a thoughtfully produced catalogue tucked inside, packed with growing tips and plenty of tempting plants and plugs. Be warned – it's very hard not to order more!

In my experience, Rocket Garden excels in customer service, product quality, and packaging. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I found this company completely by chance after searching for organic plants. If you are interested about how important organic gardening is (not just for stuff we eat but for anything we put in our soil), have a look at some of Dave Goulson's work.
I was kept informed of when the plants would likely be dispatched and appreciate that living things don't always stick to a schedule. I'd much rather wait for strong healthy plants.
Very pleased with the packaging and healthy plants. Fingers crossed they grow!

Overall, my first experience buying plugs online was not a good one. I'm not sure this is down to Rocket Gardens or the concept of mailing vegetable plugs in the post. The reason for buying plugs was due to cold weather in early May threatening my planted-out cucurbits (and wanting some peppers for the 2026 season).

The plugs themselves arrived mostly alive (visually), but the plants were far too big for the size of the plugs and appeared very fragile, with the cucurbits especially long/leggy; if planted from seed and potted on normally, the root system would be much bigger for such a plant than what they were supplied with; my 14-day-old germinated Kuri's have thicker stems than the ones I got from Rocket. This may have contributed to the outcomes they had when planted out, which weren't great (more on that in a moment).

Of the plugs, only three (of six) Uchiki Kuri plants are surviving as of 13/6/26, a few weeks on. 3/3 Blue Kuri have perished, with their stems having rotted away. Two of three Waltham Butternut have passed from similar outcome (rotten stem). All the tomato plants are still alive, but appear to either have stalled or are in the process of a slow demise. All sweet peppers are alive and appear to be surviving, but haven't shown growth. All plants were planted into 2:1:1 compost/perlite/vermiculite mix with BFB base and staked where necessary (the leggy cucurbits, specifically). I do not fault my technique: I have not suffered a single loss so far this year, not even my Tahitian Squash which survived the near-zero temps at the start of May, and have had Kuri seeds planted the day my shipment from Rocket arrived literally outpace the plugs I got from Rocket.

Communication was stellar, delivery was stellar- I just don't think the plants themselves were grown in such a way that they would be suitable for postage and later planting.

2 stars because the tomatoes and peppers are still alive and somewhat growing, -3 stars for all the poor cucurbits that have died/are dying.

I just want to say that I ordered some plug runner bean plants and I'm so pleased with them! They took a while to come because obviously I had to wait until it was the right time to be able to put them in the garden. But when they arrived, they were in excellent condition and I must say I paid for 2 lots of 10 plugs and they actually sent almost double the amount. I'm so happy because these days it's so hard to get a company that not only delivers what you ordered, but they give you great value for money. Thoroughly recommend these people. Brilliant service and they are very reasonable prices too! Thank you Rocket Gardens!

So far plants£25 of vegetable plants i orderd on May 25th an have been told the scheduled was from the 5th to the 11th of June . then by the 15th --then after my email asking why,--fobbed off with schedule were never thies first dates, an now its from the 12th -a never mentioned date before-to the 17th! of June! why!
Return email totally unapologetic even when queried again, an denied first schedule date were not on there record's.
Why would i make them up? to say a Disappointing first shop with this company is an understatement,
Therefore, I definitely will never use this company again,an suggest you dont either.
Stick to Amazon 3 to 5day deliveries on most gardening sites.

I was so delighted to find a company that dispatches large healthy plug plants. I purchased a wide selection of vegetables, some great variaties. Wrapped in environmentally friendly packaging that I can recycle. The delivery date was precise and they delivered on time. The choice is amazing and a great website to visit for information on how to look after your plants.

Our second order from this company & so very pleased when my plugs arrived, the plants are packaged so well, with care & look really healthy, it was like my birthday receiving them.

I am overjoyed to receive such healthy beautiful plants that have obviously been packed with great care and love. Seriously. I received a dead tomato plant from another company yesterday. The difference is astonishing. I really really appreciate not only the attention to detail but the actual care and love so obviously given. Their brochure is also so beautiful I just can't wait to read it. In these days of indifference and greed, this gem of a company outshines them all.

I’ve ordered many plants from Rocket Gardens over the last couple of years since discovering the joy of being outdoors. Disability means that visiting garden centres isn’t possible so the service they provide is invaluable.

From general advice, both online and in their catalogue, to the plants and their delivery, Rocket Gardens provide a great service.

For the first time, a delayed delivery over a very hot weekend, meant some very poorly plants arrived. They were replaced quickly and efficiently by a great customer service team

Have ordered many vegetable plants before from various on line sellers and have been disappointed....The plants I received were bigger than expected and very healthy....will definately order more! Yes like others was concerned they did not arrive earlier but on hindsight it was worth the wait as all plants were ready to be planted out...and not like some other's that were so small that even with the minimal of stress could not be removed and planted without the leaves falling off ( the ones that still looked alive!) will await the outcome but after 2 days out in not very good weather they look healthy.

I am always so very impressed with orders from Rocket Gardens and really look forward to receiving them.
