Excellent service from start to finish. They kept in contact with me

Called Roadmateuk out to a puncture. Quoted £250 and 1 hour to arrive. Then rang back & said, mis-quoted, would be £280. Almost 3 hours for fitter to arrive. Fitted the tyre and asked for payment in cash / bank transfer as his card reader not working. Said we needed to pay by credit card as originally agreed. He got the office to ring to take payment and advised us that cost had risen to £360 as had to hit wheel rim with hammer for 2 mins to straighten. Got very aggressive when I challenged this as quoted £280. Thought he was going to hit me & made sexually inappropriate comments to my daughter. Threatened to take wheel off / spike tyre as I was on phone to office (and they could here him shouting).
Paid the £360 under duress and said I would complain. Fitter refused to take the old tyre despite this being in the contract and the tyre is still leaking due to damaged rim.
No complaints form on website and they have yet to respond to the chat request to open a complaint.
Avoid this company if you have any other options!

Arrived within 15 minutes of my call. A bit more expensive than other companies, but it’s worth the extra when you’re stuck on the M6 after a blow out! Communication was faultless as was the service I received. I’m home safe and sound thanks to these guys.

Had a nail in tyre, was told someone would be out be out within 40-60 minutes. Received a call asking to confirm the tyre size to make sure the engineer had the correct size.

Excellent service. Very quick and efficient. I gave the man the wrong tyre and he travelled 40 minutes back to his base to get the new one and didn’t charge extra. He also didn’t try and give me the most expensive tyre. Definitely recommend

Can’t fault them, found them online as my tyre bussed so needed it replaced asap.
They were very professional, kept me informed and had someone out within round 40mins from first contact.
Would use again and definitely recommend.

Left me waiting 2 and a half hours despite telling me a mechanic was on the way to replace a flat tyre. After me having to chase them up several times they then told me the mechanic was in an accident himself and couldn't turn up.

I would have thought oh what a tragedy, had I not read about a mechanic mysteriously crashing several times on trust pilot already.

Very quick response from Sarah on our first contact with RoadMateUK. She was courteous and very helpful. The quoted price for a specific brand and size was very competitive compared with similar companies. The engineer was dispatched promptly and on arrival was again courteous and knowledgeable. We immediately realised the tyre was not as required so Ash searched for the correct spec, but non was available in UK so he offered a direct equivalent. This was agreed and he went out of his way to collect the new tyre directly. All in all a great experience, highly recommended.

This company responded to my message in less than 5 minutes with a price and time of replacement. I needed it done that evening to be able to take the kids to school in the morning. Within 45 minutes they were at my house and tyre changed in under 20 minutes.

Had a blow out and needed a tire. Once I got recovered back home the fitters were here to fit my tire. Quick , friendly and efficient. Highly recommend and would 100% use again

Edit: About 2 weeks afterwards, I discovered that my locking wheel nut had been replaced with a random one so I had to buy a replacement. I reached out to the company to get the £45 cost refunded but they refused point blank to do the right thing instead claiming that they couldn't possibly be responsible (they were - nobody else had even opened the storage compartment in the interval). Such a shame. I paid them £680 so it's not like £45 would have eaten into the profit too much.

They got me out of trouble when 2 tyres burst on a Saturday afternoon in Brighton. Spent a couple of hours ringing local places without success but they came up with the unusual size tyres I needed and somebody to fit them. The fitter was delayed but he kept me fully informed and once he arrived was very efficient.

Yes, the price was high compared to buying tyres and having them fitted normally but this was an emergency and I'm very grateful that they got me back on the road.

Fast reply to my request of a replacement tyre out of hours. Team that arrived to do the work were polite and efficient.
Price is what you pay if you want it done now and have a car that does not carry a spare.

Contacted road mate and they responded in less than 5 min. I gave them the tyre size required and they said they could be with me within 45 min to a hour. 60 mins later the tyre was replaced and I was back on the road.
Fantastic

After struggling to replace my tpms valve on my ford mondeo, I gave up and called an expert for assistance, Bryn came out well before the within the hour mark and sorted my tyre valve and refitted the tyre and all with a laugh and a smile even though it was 9:30 at night. Thanks Bryn and thanks roadmateuk.

Managed to pop one of my tyres at Stansted Airport, needed urgent support. Both the lady who answered my call and the gentleman who came to replace the tyre I popped were amazingly nice, effective and helpful. Was a very pleasing experience despite the circumstances. They were also fast and price they stated was reasonable. Absolutely recommend this company in case of emergency :)

Great service, really friendly and also arrived quickly. The driver also rang me with an update on his arrival time. Would definitely recommend in an emergency.
