Absolute joke and 100% a scam. Partner called them after getting a flat on a pothole, made him pay £100 deposit and told him 30-60 minutes. Hour and a half later he called them again and they said 5-10 minutes. Half an hour after this, still nobody showed up and now they are ignoring both mine and my partners calls. Absolutely disgusting, avoid at all costs.

SCAMMERS!!!!! DO NOT USE!!!! Called for tyre assistance after getting a flat tyre. They told me to pay a £100 deposit and then I would have to pay the rest once they are with me. They said they would be with me within 30-60 mins, after waiting and waiting over this time, I contacted them to get an update. They kept saying that someone was on their way, but in the end, I waited 6 hours and had to then be recovered by my breakdown cover. Nobody showed up and they avoided all my calls and messages. Took my money and completely disappeared.

A vulnerable 21-year-old daughter who had two tyres damaged due to potholes, was left, in the dark, in the pouring rain, frightened due to her experience of the tyre issue .

As her father, I called this company and was told that they would attend as a ‘priority’ within 50 minutes. This did not happen. Lots of confusion was caused by them, promised everything, delivered nothing.

We called 20 times to ask when they will attend to fix my daughter‘s tyres.

Excuses of broken down vehicles, excuses of will be there within another 30 to 40 minutes more, she ended up waiting for nearly 4 hours with no one attending.
We then decided enough was enough, to drive over 1.5 hours away, and pick her up.

They took a deposit of 120 pounds from us. We had to abandon the car at a local garage and arrange another supplier to fix the tyres today.

I rang the company today who said that the tyres were fixed with a run flat tyre.

This is simply not true- they said that they attended and as we ‘canceled the job’ they will keep our 120 pounds- neither of the tyres were replaced nor did they attend as they did today. This
is despicable behaviour for a young girl to be on her own having booked a tyre fix and the company promising many many times during many many calls that they were en route.

I have called the company today and asked for my deposit to be returned.

They have said that we canceled the contract - which is not correct. We waited 5 hours- no one arrived.
We were told that the fitter would be in touch 10 minutes before arrival. This is not correct and nothing happened.

I have now asked for management to refund the monies within 24 hours, failing that I will report them to trading standards and the police. I’m still waiting an email that they promised today by 3 PM

Avoid - unreliable, unprofessional.

Called 13.13 on Sunday 15/2. Advised young lady on her own had a puncture so urgent. Told 30-60 mins.
14.22 Fitter called saying due to weather another 120-150 minutes!
14.30 Called Roadmate. Advised after waiting that the fitter had broken down and another would arrive within 30-60m. Reminded this was for a young lady on her own.
15.32 Rang Roadmate. Utterly confusing coversation. Was told we hadn’t answered the call back.
16.30 The young lady WhatsApped Roadmate. No response.
After several more calls, with Roadmate hanging up, they then cancelled the job.
After paying a £120 deposit(which we’ll get refunded by CC Co) Roadmate is highly unprofessional and cares not about young and vulnerable car users.

Avoid like the plague!

Avoid this company at all cost.
They advertise 30 minutes and Maidstone based. I passed the details to my son as he’d pulled over with a flat tyre and was on route to work. Two hours after paying in full £270 they made contact stating that two vans broke down! So the job was subcontracted to another company in Gravesend. I can’t fault this fitter, however when you advertise a 30 minute service over 2.5hrs is a joke. When we made contact to discuss a discount on the price, we received a lovely message “Your job is done, why are you asking for a discount”
We questioned this as the tyre fitter is a budget £50 tyre
The owner said he’d think about a discount, but after chasing today, we recieved. “Sorry mate we agreed a price”
So in summary, no customer service, false advertising and an absolute rip off merchant!
You have been warned…

Do not use this service keep ringing until you find an actual tyre shop or mobile tyre service. This is a middle man service you are paying a premium price for budget tyres. They charge for bolt removal which we all know is a special tool and as easy as unwinding a bolt. No please use a local service as this one is based in India/pakistan they don’t care for you no compassion just a middle man that mis sold me budget tyres as premium. No call and pay the mam doing the job not the shirt and tie. Overall a very very expensive service.

told a 30 to 60 min wait was 2.5 hrs
apparently the tech broke down and didnt tell them for some time. they had arranged someone else who could come but switched me back (all before my call to them to find out where he was) when he decided to still come but i was in DE6 and he was in lecister 1.5 hours fater my inital call !!
finally got sorted at 6.30 and thanked for my paients. i didnt have a choice id paid a deposit and its a sunday. eveything around me was shut

bad communication. bad service and over priced

Can’t fault the help that I received today. My tire blew out so I contacted the company to try and get a replacement sorted. They responded really quickly and kept in communication the whole time while also being upfront about how much it will cost. £250 for one tire is a bit steep however for the quickness of ringing up to having someone out to fix it was amazing. After paying the deposit the driver came to me in about 30mins and started working on the car straight away. Lovely blokes who sorted the wheel and kept me informed the whole time they were sorting it.

⭐ 1 Star Absolutely disgraceful and frightening experience. Promised 30 to 60 minute attendance for a lone female with a puncture, then charged nearly 400 pounds for an unbranded tyre. After taking payment, they refused to contact or chase their fitter for an ETA and then completely stopped answering the phone, despite advertising a 24 hour emergency service. The fitter eventually arrived nearly FOUR HOURS later. The fitter named Gil then made the situation even worse. He refused to lower the car from the jack unless she left him a good Google review on the spot. This felt extremely intimidating and uncomfortable, especially as she was alone and already distressed. No one should ever feel pressured or unsafe in a breakdown situation. Leaving a woman stranded for hours with no communication and then placing her in a situation where she felt intimidated is completely unacceptable. This was not just poor service it was frightening. Premium prices zero communication zero care for safety. Do not rely on this company in an emergency especially if you are a female travelling alone

Good communication throughout supportive on the phone kept to the timetable the tyre fitters were excellent all was trouble free I was relieved that it went so well

Twice the price of the competition and refused to repay booking fee when fitter hadn’t set off. This is a scam

Called Roadmate at about 12 noon and new tyre was fitted by 1:30. Maybe not the cheapest but resolved the problem quickly. Communication from the call hander and fitter was also good.

This company dealt with our call quickly and efficiently. Having taken out details over the phone and WhatsApp, they then messaged key information about the job back to us for confirmation. The guy assigned to the job then called us again several times to check the job details and to update us on his ETA. On arrival, he replaced our tyre quickly and efficiently, and was courteous throughout. Overall, we were impressed by the service provided by this company and their contractor.

got a puncture on the M25, miles from my my house of all things, only had phone on me, used google tried a couple of companies these guys said they would be with me within 35-50 minutes, but I had to pay £100 deposit ok fair enough. Car had no spare wheel, so need to get home lets get it done. 12.55pm the puncture rung these 1.04pm, tyre replaced at 5.09pm I rung them several times asked what was going on, was told he fitter is 10 mins away, rung back another hour they said 15 mins away, I said cancel my deposit refund it I will try somewhere else, phone only had 20% charge, cant refund as guy has bought tyre and on his way, I would have to pay for tyre I dont have and his call out. So I carried on waiting not sitting in the car as dangerous, freezing cold, the tyre fitter was great , this Company Road Mate is crap, Charge £100 to refer you to another company and no idea where the guy is in relation to your Location. I was in Essex he was in kent. Stuck at Dartford tunnel. If I could give 0 stars I would the call centre never rung back no updates, and asked stupid questions like what is the postcode of where you are , The M25 , yes but what is the postcode ??? wtf DO NOT use these guys ignore the other reviews and try a mobile tyre fitter close to where your location is £316 and 5 housrs wait for this experience

Great service, we had 2 popped tyres and, the recovery was within the timeline suggested, 2 new tyres in quick time and we were off. Thank you!

Very helpful from the start and quick to resolve the issue

Found the company online as I had a busted tyre due to a pothole. I needed to get home as I had two young children in the car. The person I spoke to was helpful and they had someone with me in about an hour. The person who fitted the tyre was polite and did the job quickly. Gave 4 stars due to the price, I do think I could have gotten it cheaper if I'd called another company however I needed to get home.

Excellent and fast service! Better than going through an insurance company.
