Outstanding Service - A billion points for Lloyd!
This is only the 2nd time in 15 years that I have used Richer Sounds. I usually buy from online retailer's. What a spectacular service from start to finish.
Initially Heather offered me £10 off a price I had already found online. Product ordered and delivered at a date I choose. With in a week or so of using this £2000 TV, it did not live up to the reviews and hype and was shockingly disappointing. Coming from an LG C2, I know what I'm talking about.
Head office directed me to Lloyd at this branch (Watford). Lloyd called me and offered to help with some in-store demos.
I attended the store where Lloyd had set up some demos (Samsung S95F series) based on my feedback. This man has tha patience of a saint, the personality of an angel and agility of Messi! Not only was I even more confused by the tips and tricks that Lloyd walked me through, but I was amazed that this was far from a hard sell. It was legitimate help...
I went home, had a think and back to the store to demo the take a look at the G5. I left the store, had a look online, emailed Lloyd and done deal.
I felt like a member of my family who was truly interested in my wellbeing was looking after me. Lloyd, thank you for being you. I appreciate your help.
And the TV?
Well it's only been 1 day. Hopefully this is Happy Days!

Large tv purchase from Richer Sounds Watford
I ordered the fairly large tv over the phone from Watford an easy process.
It was delivered on time with delivery guys keeping me updated.
I set the unit up with my existing sound system, however a had a slight technical challenge of compatibility. Phoned Watford branch and we worked out a solution in a 30 min call.
Great service.

Richer Sounds is the best shop to use for TV and musical equipment since Discover them about 10 years ago, I would never buy my electrical equipment from anywhere else. The staff are great and knowledgeable

Very good customer service appropriate information given and no sales pressure. We called in late Sunday just before closing but we were not rushed at all we returned later in the week to make the purchase and again excellent customer service.

Superb Service!!
I telephoned to place my order as I wanted to confirm delivery date. I spoke to a lovely lady called Heather. We discussed product and price. I explained the record player was for my husbands birthday and delivery was important. She offered me named delivery which was so appreciated. The item arrived on the designated date! Payment portal not working
I was on the phone for 25 mins whilst the shop assistant tried to get the portal to take payment to work. Very upset to be badgered on the phone by you to amend feedback.
Yes , I did complete a purchase by card payment over the phone in the normal way. So your reply is false.
I would give no stars if I could.

I was genuinely concerned to read your feedback and have since listened back to the call to understand what happened. While the secure payment link itself was only a small part of the conversation, it’s clear the call became longer than it needed to be due to how our payment options were explained.
We don’t take card payments over the phone for security reasons as a rule, to help protect both our customers and our business from fraud, but we should have explained the alternatives much more clearly. When the link wasn’t working smoothly, an alternative option such as bank transfer should also have been offered at that point.
I’ve shared my feedback with the store manager and team, and asked our Operations team to follow up with further training with the colleague involved to make sure situations like this are handled far better going forward.
I understand you were able to successfully complete your purchase in the end, and that an exception on the phone payment was made in a bid to help resolve things. We did try to follow up by phone solely to apologise and try and put things right, but completely respect your preference not to revisit things. I have used R/S for many years
I have used R/S for many years, sothat means you are good trustworthy people who know about their products.
My new CD player sounds great, it is playing through a Cambridge amp and Celestion ditton speakers.
Why 4 not 5 stars? The remote seems not to work properly, it will not eject the played disc. No biggy….i press the stop button on the player itself.

Wonderful staff and service
After my order, I was contacted by Heather at Richer Sounds who explained when I could collect my hifi components and where I could park. When in the store we had a great conversation and was directed to a loading bay in front of the store and the store manager brought the packages out and placed them in my car. What an excellent and human service!
