 Overall a great experience Richer sounds is a great place to buy electrical equipment and if you have any problems, it’s hasslefree to get it sorted that’s why I give them five stars

I was enquiring about a particular brand of in ear phones.
I had a lovely browse of the hi-fi equipment whilst it was checked whether the item was in stock.
It was not but I was informed it would be delivered withing 2 days so I agreed to purchase there and then.

My wife went to pick the item up as I was not able to pop to the shop on the Tuesday they were ready for collection.

I am so absolutely delighted with my Nothing Ear Buds.

Have bought a TV, an amp / receiver and an optical audio converter from the Chiswick store and they are always super helpful and knowledgeable. They don’t always plug the most expensive but it’s always quality equipment.

Genuinely knowledgeable helpful staff who didn't condescendingly assume myself and other customers were hifi novices like another retailer in Chelsea which I left because of the staff's attitude .
Ended up purchasing a Cambridge Audio amp from the Chiswick branch based on customer service and will be returning to the same branch for the matching Audio Streamer.

Easy process to purchase online and collect from store. Products were ready for collection the next day as promised, and the store manager was more than happy to reimburse me for a current promotion after the purchase was made. The guys were helpful in getting everything into the car as it needed more than one pair of hands!

I’ve always been a fan of Richer Sounds, having bought a lot of stuff there over the years. However, in 2026 to be hitting customers with a 20% “handling charge” if they want to return something a few days after purchase that they have just opened to try out, isn’t competitive. Amazon, Peter Tyson, AV.com etc all allow a 30 day return without penalty for opened items. Richer sounds might want to catch up with the competition on this front?

Absolutely amazing personalised service from Jim! So knowledgeable and really gave us the time and shared his expertise. We had been in a few times and he remembered us - saying that at least we are making informed decisions so we wouldn’t look back. We certainly won’t be, as now proud owners of our new baby- fab vinyl player and great speakers. Thank you for comparing and contrasting differing sets to fit our price point and listening preferences! Funnily enough as it goes we went full circle and did end up with the set what we were originally keen on! All with a smile and friendly personalised service!
