Great experience from start to end. After an immediate quote online, a date was arranged to collect my car. The communication from the gentleman collecting was excellent. He phoned to confirm he was due to arrive on time. He was professional, polite and friendly. I received the payment into my account two days later. I highly recommend 👌

I recently scrapped a car via the website; it could have not been easier and i got what i felt was a more than fair price.

Having submitted my enquiry, i was talking by phone within an hour and arranged a collection. The collector came on time, really friendly, removed the car and i have just received the payment next day as agreed.

I cant fault the process.

Received a competitive quote online and the car was picked up the next day from a local breakers. Collection was simple, striaghtforward & the collector kept me infromed throughout. Payment was received in my bank account within hours. I was worried when I booked it whether the service was genuine, as a lone female, sometimes we can be ripped off but this couldn't have been easier. Would recommend this service.

Can't fault them. Messaged them on Monday, immediately arranged collection on Wednesday. Arrived when said, chap was very polite and chatty and very efficient. Money was paid the same day. Really good to deal with a company that does what it says on the tin, makes a refreshing change. Would definitely recommend.

Deeply disappointed!
I booked a day to remove my car. They promised they will arrive between 7am-17pm. So i had a day off obviously. No one appeared, no phone call, nothing. I called them several times during the day, they said the guy will come and call me 1 hour before he arrives. Now 7.15pm and nothing happened. Congratulations 👏🎉. Shame

I live in a rural area and it’s difficult taking my car to a scrapyard. Remove My Car were efficient and did exactly what they said they would do. Within an hour of contacting, I had a call from a yard who arranged a day for collection. They took the car away, organised the DVLA side and I received a fair payment on top for the scrap. Ideal.

I had a great experience, it was so easy and straight forward. My car was collected as arranged and I didnt even need to be home so convenient everything was taken care of and fast with payment.

Had a VW Bora to collect. Remove my car gave the best price apparently guaranteed but the breakers think otherwise. Beware of the price being reduced by the breakers eg no alloy wheels, no battery, no original catalytic converter. Although mine had all of these they will try to reduce the price. I complained to remove my car who say no the price is guaranteed. There is a clear lack of communication and clarity between these company and salvage yard used. Just make sure you challenge it if they try to change the price. Personally this affected the process and created undue stress.

Booked a car removal on two occasions. No one has shown up and the number to call is of no assistance. Would not recommend.

It was a refreshing pleasure dealing with remove my car.com. The service was efficient and very professional. Communications were excellent, keeping me updated throughout the process and the price given was competitive. Payment was made within a few hours of collection. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for their service

This was my experience, and I hope yours has been better. I booked a car collection through their website outside working hours. The next morning, I received both a text and an email saying they had “tried to call me” and couldn’t reach me. This was not true — I had no missed calls, no voicemail, and my phone was with me the entire time.
I tried calling them three times with no answer, left a voicemail, and also replied to their email. When they finally called back, I explained that the battery had been removed because it was damaged in the accident. They put me on hold for a minute, then immediately tried to book a collection date without addressing the price change.
When I asked again about the impact of the missing battery, they finally told me the price would drop from £150 to £130. Even £150 is already a very low price for a 2009 Toyota Aygo with a good condition engine and only 66k miles, yet they still decided to reduce the offer further. When I said I didn’t accept the reduced offer, they cancelled the collection on the spot and ended the call.
Overall, the experience felt unclear, rushed, and not transparent. The communication didn’t match what actually happened, and the last‑minute price change was disappointing.
After declining their reduced offer, I noticed I could no longer obtain a quote on their website. The quote form simply stopped working for me, which makes it feel as though my access was blocked after refusing the lower price. And look at what they state right below the quote form: ‘We guarantee your scrap price & payment. No hidden costs. No hidden surprises.

Collection was booked today - email said between 7am and 5pm. Waited and waited, no call from them. Called and Redcorn Dispatch team say they are not coming today as they still have 11 cars to collect and will not be able to come today and earliest date is in 3 days time. I have no choice but to wait until Friday now but have told them that if its not collected by midday on Friday, am cancelling. Poor customer service so far.

Terrible company. Kept saying theyd be in touch to collect. Car sat there for over a week. I ended up cancelling

Great quick and painless, mostly because of this company. They we honestly and attentive throughout the whole process, and give that it was around the new year very organised
