I am very satisfied with the service offered by Rattan Direct………… Unfortunately, due to Covid etc…...I had to wait for months for my order of replacement Ascot Cushions. However, they were eventually delivered well packaged and thoughtfully delivered to my neighbours house, in my absence. A totally satisfied customer!!!!!!!!!

The rattan garden furniture we ordered was of good quality and very please with it we ordered the furniture in December on offer which was great and was told approx delivery time in February but for some reason we did not recive the items till June which we had to wait 6 month for the furniture to arrive for me that was the only down side waiting for the furniture to arrive

Outdoor living
I purchased our Ascot garden furniture in 2017. It is under our pergola and has added an extra living space to our home. It has been used frequently and is still as strong and stable as the first day we purchased it. We keep the cushions in the Ascot box through the winter. The removable covers are washed Spring every year and we are ready to go.
I would highly recommend this product and the company.

Do not recommend this company
I ordered and paid for some covers for my furniture in April 2025. The lady who took my money that day said I will receive my covers in 5 working days. To this day 3rd September I still haven’t received my covers. Each time I put a complaint in I get different reasons to why they haven’t arrived. I have spent a fortune with this company but will never spend a penny more with them. Do not recommend.

As previously mentioned before as a returning customer something has happened with this company. Placed order in June for July delivery. Chased and chased then after I put a review on here they emailed me
Excuses so far are, parts not available for table, table is damaged, can’t get new table, table was delayed in transfer from old premises to new, can you choose a different table which I have, refund for cheaper table can take 14 days (still hasn’t arrived), van broke down, chairs were logged but not table, delivery company will call you next week, next week, next week etc etc. I am contacting action fraud today as it is now September and it six weeks late and I am fed up chasing them. No doubt they have ordered another table from China to replace the one that was probably discontinued

Sad deterioration in this company’s service.…
I have used Rattan Direct previously and have always been very satisfied with the furniture, delivery and communication.
However something has clearly changed this year. I ordered a new set of garden sofa cushions and chair cushions in April 2025. I was told they wouldn’t be available until August and was given a delivery date of August 1st. They did not arrive. There was no communication from Rattan Direct, and when I contacted the company, I was told that the chair cushions were no longer available and only half of the sofa cushions had arrived in the warehouse from India. The rest would not arrive until the end of September. No point in having garden cushions then as packing away for the winter! I therefore cancelled the order and requested a refund of £454 which has been with the company since April.
They apologised and told me my refund would be in my account within 14 days.
Still no sign of it after 30+ days despite several emails.
Very disappointing and I feel that this company has gone seriously downhill. I am quite concerned about getting my money back at this point.

STILL AWAITING REFUND
Ordered garden furniture for an event as was promised furniture was in stock and would be delivered within 7 days.
Delivery date was cancelled twice, third time lucky, however missed event so not happy. Furniture has been sitting in the garden covered ever since.
On the date of order I was promised a refund of £250.00 if I ordered that day. I was told I would received the refund within 10 working days. NO REFUND received and I am now going into the fourth week since the order was placed. Lame excuses about back up of refunds, blaming the system etc is totally unacceptable from what is suppose to be a reputable company. Rattan Direct never make contact on delivery date being changed or update on the refund status. Customers having to chase these issues show very poor customer service. To be fair the furniture is lovely - BUT the customer service/care leaves a lot to be desired....
I am now going into my 5th week of waiting for a refund that was promised from Rattan and nothing. Emailed Rattan yesterday for an update - what a surprise no response... extremely frustrated with this company - will be contacting Ombudsman for advice
Almost 2 months after my promised refund and 18 emails later - still no refund. I was told on 1st September to bear with them a little longer - a month later still excuse after excuse about back up of refunds in their system. Doesn't bode well that there refunds seem to be bigger than Rattan sales if its taking this long....

Disappointed 😞
I ordered a corner unit from Rattan Direct. The first two deliveries never arrived so I had two wasted trips to North Wales 80 miles each way. On the third occasion it finally arrived but the sections where completely different colours and the delivery driver refused to take it back. It took two.men to unload it but I had to drag it into our Lodge on my own to keep the boxes dry until another set was delivered several week later. Trying to contact someone from the company was impossible at first until after threats of legal action i finally got someone to email me. The quality of the rattan is good but it is very low to the ground, seat base cushions are good but the rear back cushions are misshaped and uncomfortable infact the back of the rattan chairs are to low to relax comfortably. And finally the free covers provided do not fit so I had to buy a separate one. All in all a disappointing experience there are far better sets out there for the money. Lesson learnt try before you buy.

Robust and long lasting
We ordered a full set of furniture (sofa, two chairs plus table) and found these to be larger than most cheaper brands and of sturdy construction. We liked it that much we ordered an identical second set. Having lived with the furniture for over a year now we can confirm the products to be comfortable and stable. No hesitation in recommending .

I cannot recommend this company
I cannot recommend this company. I spent nearly £2000 for furniture to finish off our dream garden. This was to complete many months of savings and hard work and with the hot weather we were really excited. They delayed delivery and then failed to deliver on three separate occasions. Awful discussions with delivery company who refused to help and simply frustrating discussions with Rattan Direct. After giving them the benefit for all three attempts to deliver i have cancelled and requested a refund. As many in this review I am now recieving feedback delaying this refund. A ruined summer, an unhappy family, and now it feels I have been a fool, with a huge amount of my savings lost. Simply shop somewhere else.
