Due to family emergency had to cancel the visit and reached out the team for a refund 2 weeks before arrival. Apparently its a 60! days no refund policy. Its a shame for places like this

Sadly the customer experience with Pure Leisure had been a further disappointment. We reached out to customer service over 2 weeks ago and we have yet to receive an acknowledgement or response. Sadly this has compounded our thoughts of the value for money, values and commitment to customer experience from Pure Leisure.

I'd certainly recommend exploring alternatives to Pure Leisure if you are looking for park ownership.

Disappointing experience
We decided to have a relaxing few days at fell end.
Sadly the experience was disappointing and stressful.
We didn't realise that pure leisure do take group bookings which made the experience far from a relaxing experience.
The park facilities were dirty and far from expectations.
We had previously stayed at the park some years ago. But sadly the park standards are very poor now.
We don't have any plans to repeat the experience after deciding to end our visit early.

Cockerham sands is a lovely quiet very peaceful holiday park. The caravan was spotless. The staff were lovely and a credit to the park. The Sunday dinner was one of the best I’ve had and the plate was overflowing. There’s nothing around the park but within a hours drive there’s Blackpool, Morecambe and fleetwood. We would definately go again. We could take our dog in the pub as well, most places won’t let you do that. We really can’t fault it. The pool looked very nice but we didn’t go in. We had a very lovely peaceful holiday

Lovely spacious and clean caravans. The dog friendly one was excellent. Nice walks along the coast. Welcoming reception and bar staff. Well kept site and pool.

We were looking in particular for peace and quiet ...WE GOT IT ...though it looked as if the site was well catered for children ,if you go during term time like we do it's lovely The warden is so very helpful and friendly we had a slight problem and it was fixed quicker than immediately! The staff all around the site are friendly and welcoming ..so much so we have taken advantage of our new retirement and visited 3 times during this year 2024 and have no qualms about going more during 2025 .Caravans cater for everything they are warm clean and comfortable, even have free WiFi...all on all it's brilliant Thankyou

Great caravans, good value for money, lovely scenery, small onsite shop, amenities. Great place to relax and enjoy walks. Close to Garstang and Lancaster. Good for families.

We have stayed at your caravan park a few times now for my youngest sons birthdays and have always loved our experience there unfortunately this time the weather was not on our side. However food was amazing and staff friendly as always. Caravan itself was extremely comfortable like a home from home. Thank you.

we had a few small niggles on arrival but the staff sorted them out with a friendly efficient manner a special thankyou to chris the van was very clean and fully equipped the club serves good food and drink with friendly staff the site is in a lovely location and clean and tidy will be back

We had a fantastic time at cockerham sands caravan site, the whole place is so clean snd tidy, the staff are incredible, the pub was really nice and the food was delicious. We've stayed many times at cockerham as we enjoy it so much.

We had a great week at Cockerham Sands, was an absolute bargain considering was the 1st week of the summer holidays so have to admit wasn't expecting much, just booked as a base! We booked a platinum 3 bedroom caravan which was spotless very spacious and modern and had everything we needed. The park itself and the pool area were absolutely spotless and the outdoor pool was brilliant for the kids and was plenty warm enough for adults too! Majority of the park are owned caravans but every one was very friendly and we felt very welcome, food in the bar was OK for the price and drinks etc well priced, the park is in the middle of nowhere as previous reviews suggested so you would definitely need a car to stay here, Lancaster and Morecambe 20/30 mins away with plenty to do, wifi throughout with seperate wifi per caravan, definitely
needed as had no mobile reception all week, would definitely return!

Really nice caravan holiday nice little area for kids to play. Pool looked nice but was too cold at time. Near to Blackpool for nice day out.

Have a seasonal tourer at Fell End, it's our first season and my family and I really enjoy where we are. The bar and cafe are good value for money and the swimming pool is a great addition. The location is perfect. Fell End nature reserve is just behind us & belongs to the park- it could be a million miles from anywhere its so relaxing and secluded. Your within a good dog walking distance of Arnside, Silverdale and the coast. We love our little oasis of calm, can't understand some of the poor reviews.

The facilities leave much to be desired. The pure liesure group seems uninterested in cutomers family holiday... pure liesure managers have terrible attitude and another money grabbing cartel best avoided

Cockerham sands holiday park, Put in a newish van right next door to a van full of people 8 or 9 including kids the noise was (music and kids shouting ) horrific none stop 1pm until 11pm , the van was not an old one but it was full of handprints off kids , mats were frayed door handels missing screws , bar was full of locals effing the pool area was a complete joke it said clearly no drinking no smoking but guess what they where doing the opposite but no one said a word despite the manager being there laughing and joking with these people this is the last time we come here it's gone so bad now we will go elsewhere we are an elderly couple perhaps thats the problem

Awful caravan park! Fell End. Just had to leave because the number of rats was absolutely diabolical. Rude staff and zero customer service.

Pure Evil. Not happy until they have emptied your life savings.

I urge you to refrain from investing even a single penny into this abhorrent 'company'. Their deceit knows no bounds as they distort the truth in every product they peddle. Their deceitful practices distort every aspect of what they offer. They lure you in with promises of a dream, only to drain your finances and plunge you into utter despair. Our experience with them was nothing short of torment – we faced relentless bullying and harassment, leaving us financially crippled, with tens of thousands of pounds lost."

I implore you to watch the recent Panorama documentary exposing the predatory sales tactics of companies such as this. We refuse to surrender our finances and vow to battle them tooth and nail until justice is served. Additionally, please consider signing the online petition advocating for the regulation of this industry, preventing these malevolent entities from wreaking havoc on more lives.

Waste of space company and profit driven all the time as apposed to customer care. If you've an issue with a caravan or lodge purchase and handed money over you've no chance of getting it sorted. Had ours and only a small issue they've failed to address at handover in November last year and failed to reply to calls, emails and texts. Sold our park to a far better company who takes customer care with pride. Couldn't even be bothered to inform anyone till the day of transfer. Salesmen like revolving doors. One sells then goes elsewhere then another steps in to take the flack so can't be bothered. Had your money and runs. Tin pot organisation in our view so avoid at all costs. If I could give no stars I would.👎

Do NOT buy a holiday home from these…
They are a company who take everything out and put nothing back in.
Unscrupulous sales people whose word isn’t worth a light and never put anything down on paper.
You might as well throw your money into the river. Over inflated price's and if you decide to sell they will either offer you a fraction of your purchase price after only a year, or offer you nothing and leave it to sell privately, but take 15% plus vat on your sale.

If you buy to rent, the only people who will make money on your rental will be them, they take a booking fee, and a % of your income, cleaning fee, and everything has to be done through them, but breakages fixtures and fitting you are responsible for,
Read the small print very carefully.

The new owners have achieved more and put back into the site in 5 weeks than the previous owners did in 12 years. The difference is the new owner has a passion for his business and puts the effort into his sites, whereas pure leisure just took and put nothing back!
‘NOTE’ they are that ruthless that they have just sold one of their sites, and didn’t even have the courtesy to inform his loyal long term employees!
