Failed on 2 items we were told we can do the repairs would be around £150.
So dropped the car back and on collection were told we have done the work but still nit passed...we cant fix it i would take it to another garage we were told.
Charged £200 ..not very good
But later on I looked at the invoice and it said £65 !!!! But we were charged £200

Two visits recently
Two visits recently. One for an MOT that failed... I was told it was a dealer only part required and they couldn't do the work. Fair enough... Then someone said get a "second opinion" about the dealer only part. I did, and it turned out it wasn't a "dealer only part AND it wasn't an MOT failure anyway!! Got the MOT by a second garage zero issues.
Following this, and against my better judgement I decided to get some tyres for my van. What could go wrong, right? Wrong!
Despite paying in advance on the protyre website - following tyre recommendations after submitting the reg number - it turned out the tyres were NOT suitable for commercial use!
"Sorry mate, the website is s***" they said! Admittedly I got an immediate refund but it still cost me a couple of wasted hours!
I wont be retuning.

Services for 3 vehicles
I am currently getting 3 vehicles through services and MOTs. There is a particular mechanic at Westbury who has given me exceptional customer service. Unfortunately I have not learnt his name yet. He has taken the time to discuss show me and advise on the problems found. I am very grateful for not being rushed with decisions to be made and carrying out repairs methodically and in a timely fashion.
The reception organisation isn't always meticulous to detail and needs improving. Scott however has been very helpful and I am hoping my next visit soon will be better organised with ordering parts and keeping admin safe when requested. To be fair the office has been revamped recently so perhaps this explains the blips.

Really good service. Would have been a 5, asked to be called when ready, told about an hour. 2 hours later, had a lift to find car was ready for collection.

We received great service from Protyre…
We received great service from Protyre in Westbury. The car was in for an MOT on a Friday, quite close to closing, and it needed tyres to pass the MOT. It was agreed that the tyres would be done on the Saturday, (They squeezed us in) but the MOT retest couldn’t be done until the Tuesday due to me having a prior commitment. I was not charged for the retest.

Booking the slot was easy
Booking the slot was easy. Only positive thing i have to say. We had 11am slot in Westbury. Told several times to make sure arrive on time for your 30 min delivery slot. Arrived on time told have to wait an hour. Boiling hot day. Reception and office closed. Richard is 81. No choice but wait outside for hour and half or more in 30 degrees!! When he went back at 12 still not started. Eventually started at 12.15 and not one single apology for the poor service other than we are extra busy. Ok don't ask people to arrive well on time then and certainly don't book so many slots out so you're not so busy and customers at least get a reasonable service if not a good one!!! Very poor service. Will not use again. If we hadn't paid in advance and money already taken we would have said forget it and walked away. However since posting this the regional manager has responded and has explained fully the situation regarding improvements being made at Westbury branch. So whilst I wont change my review as that is my true experience on the day I will say well done Gary Lake for a full apology and explanation and responding so quickly. Thank you Gary. terrible service
Was there ontime for them to check torque on wheelnuts as they told me to,also losing pressure on new rear tyre they fitted,no reception area as it was closed for refurbishment,was told it would be an hour,was offered a hard plastic seat in full sun in the car park,I had nobody with me so nowhere to go,I am disabled and 77 years of age,had to sit out in 30 degrees + for an hour,went into garage where they had roped off part for reception,was informed I owed them £35 for a puncture(they had already repaired tyre)I explained that tyre had been losing 1-3 psi each week since they fitted new rear tyres(as I knew I was going back to get wheel nuts checked and I only use the car for shows)I thought I would wait,I said they were brand new ttyres which reception replied are you trying to say we punctured the tyre,I said of course not but as the tyre started going down after they fitted it and it is a garage it could have been punctured in the garage as he showed me a tiny rusty screw,he also said more chance of a puncture being a new tyre!!!! I have been in the motor trade for over 60 years,never heard that excuse before,they eventually told me to pay £13 for the puncture repair,needless to say I will never use your garage again,the last time I used you(to fit new tyres)you lost the tyres you took off after promising me they would keep them for me,nothing wrong with them just had wider tyres put on,after banter with the staff the manager refunded me £120 as I already had a buyer for them!!!!!
