Complaint Against: Prime Golf Carts
Subject: Request for Refund – Defective Rental Golf Cart and Poor Customer Service
I rented a golf cart from Prime Golf Carts for a 10-day rental period for use during my family vacation. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and significantly disrupted our trip.
On Day 1, the golf cart provided by Prime Golf Carts stopped working and completely died. I contacted the company and they delivered a replacement cart later that day.
However, the second cart also failed the same day. The battery died and the cart became completely inoperable, leaving us stranded and forcing us to push the cart all the way back to our rental location.
After this second failure, I attempted multiple times to contact Prime Golf Carts to resolve the issue and request assistance. My calls were either ignored, disconnected, or I was hung up on. The company made no effort to correct the situation or provide a working replacement.
Because the equipment provided was unreliable and unusable, I was forced to return the golf cart after only 3 days, despite having paid for a 10-day rental. The situation ruined a significant portion of my children’s vacation, as the cart was supposed to be our primary transportation during the trip.
