I recently bought a car from this dealership, and I must say they went above and beyond to help me, they went through every bit of the car with me,making sure that I was 😊 happy.
I can't thank them enough.

I brought my new Citreon C4 grand Picasso car from this Garage and what you see on line is what you get. Its amazing and the extra work they have done on my car is brilliant.

The manager and staff are very friendly and made me feel very Comfortable at the Garage. would definitely recommend this garage to other people.

Platinum service from John and his team. I purchased a Citroen Grand C4 Picasso from them, after they gave it a service and changed the cam belt and water pump before I took it away from them, after a couple of days it started leaking coolant. I took it back to John's engineer's and they investigated the leak they found a leaking water pump which was a manufacturer's production defect. Yesterday 23rd Oct 2024 I had a phone call from John to say all was fixed and come and pick up your car. What a great service from Platinum car sales and especially from John. Thanks a lot from TONY. By the way the the car doesn't leak any more.

Cannot fault the first class service from sales staff up to John the manager.More than helpful with all aspects from viewing to the actual sale and helping with transferring private number plates,Tax and Always responds to any queries we have over the telephone , first class 5 STAR service, Would recommend John and his staff for their professionalism and trustworthiness, very friendly atmosphere.

Awful customer service.

They claim their vehicles come with a brand new MOT & service. This isn’t true.

Warranty impossible to deal with. Take days and days to reply. You have to pester them. Then they don’t fix the problem properly, refuse to provide me with proof of work. Drag things out as long as possible and then refuse to take any liability or accountability when your warranty ends even though it’s the same issue I reported numerous times when car was under warranty.

Excuse after excuse and when proved wrong just stop replying to emails.

Couldn’t care less that they’ve left me with no working car after less than 4 months!

In the process of seeking legal advice as I’m going to be left over 1k out of pocket due to their negligence and poor customer service.

When collecting my car i was asked to leave a good review on here as they had ‘some sour customers who had left bad reviews’. So glad I didn’t do that.

& Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing.

Would never use again and will advise everyone I know to not use them.

The salesman (Zak) was courteous and professional throughout the whole experience of buying a car, he walked me through all the paperwork and explained every step, all the staff were friendly whenever I made contact about updates on the vehicle I was buying.

Very wary of going to a car dealer, loved the experience from start to finish. Drove away in my car just over an hour later. Trustworthy, great sales team, value for money. Thanks again

Went with my dad to pick up his new xf. Awesome cars, my dad took me back a week later, and surprised me by asking if I wanted to look at ds3 sport which I loved.. but a stunning colour bmw 1 series kept catching my eye. After looking at it couple times but seeing was alot more than ds3, left it alone. The dealer offered a good price for my cat n corsa, and they both worked a deal for the BMW. Absolutely awesome... left an hour later in my new car. Thanks both for a day I'll never forget...

Recently bought my vehicle that later developed an issue not covered by warranty. Still was told to bring the car back and issue was resolved. John simply stated he wanted me to be 100%happy. And am that. Very helpful trustworthy and vehicle choose is top class. Thanks again

Brought my Mercedes SLK last week. Dean was so helpful. We test drove it and was delighted with the car. The whole process was straight forward. A few minor things needed doing. On picking up the car all had been put right. I was a little unsure as reading a few negative reviews before going to Platinum, but can honestly say the whole buying experience was great. Dean was very friendly and professional with no pressure to buy. Would highly recommended them.

Great Experience!! Dean was helpful and very pleasant. No pressure sales. Bought my wife a lovely mini. She is delighted with it! There was a small issue with the radio. Dean got it sorted with no hassle, Highly recommend Dean!! Would definitely buy from here again!

Bought a car from them in February and the sales person promised to get a spare wheel as it was missing. It is almost 3 months and after contacting them 7 times by phone, once in person and once by email, I still have not seen the wheel on any explanation why. Would never buy from them again or recommend anyone else to

My experience with Platinum Car Centre was an absolute nightmare. Not only did they sell me a faulty Audi that broke down twice, leaving me stranded and out of pocket for AA calls and hotel stays, but their boss was incredibly rude and intimidating, conveniently dodging my emails whenever I tried to address the issues.

To top it off, when I confronted them about the car troubles, they had the audacity to accuse me of filling the car with the wrong fuel, until I provided evidence proving otherwise. They showed no remorse for leaving me, a single mom, without a car over Christmas in rural Devon. Instead of gracefully admitting fault and rectifying the situation, they tried to brush off their incompetence.

And the nightmare didn't end there. A year later, I was hit with a hefty fine for tax and MOT violations on the very vehicle I had returned to them. It's clear that Platinum Car Centre operates with shady practices and a complete lack of empathy for their customers. Unless you're a car expert, steer clear of these crooks.

This was at Christmas a year ago- however I have court for this bulls**t tax and mot they didn't bother with (probably on purpose given they tried every trick in the book)

Omg the service was amazing so stress free and easy he knocked money off the cars worked with us to get a good price and now I’m happy as hell I’m my new car they made it look amazing when I picked it up honestly looked new and I can’t praise enough how they worked with me … needed to swap the car soon and the turn around was about 4 days from saying I want it/ buying it to receiving my car they pushed it through even though they were busy which I really appreciated

Also took the time to explain some of the features of the new car and any little problems to look out for plus gave me a warranty of 6 month to put my mind at rest …

Overall 10 stars if I could they made me ever so happy in my car and when I want another upgrade I will be going back to see dean

Absolutely terrible quality cars and customer service.
Bought a car and needed an extensive repair - was not covered by warranty…fair enough. Emailed to say the extent of extra cost that the breakdowns and mechanical failures have caused - got told to take the review down or they will not help at all. Completely discredited me and spoke to me as if I was the thickest person alive. Knowing that they wouldn’t help me regardless of removal of the review or not, I said I was not willing to do that…following that they got extremely rude and stated that they are not willing to help in any way what so ever and this was my fault. We have had 2 faulty cars from here now so it isn’t just a coincidence! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Bought a lovely Audi Q2 off the lads today, lovely chaps to deal with and we were happy with the price we got.. all in all a great service and we will be back.. lovely range of cars In the garage also!

Brought a renault megane from platium cars didn't start new battery installed then the problems started.i gave the car back but they did not sort problem out.so we changed cars to a ford focus ecoboast less then 2 weeks later with 2 grandchildren in the car on the m5 car it blew up and caught on fire and was burnt out.platium cars didn't give a toss about it as they said its not there car anymore it's the finance company problem there customer service is very poor and as for the salesmen zac well i wont say what i like to say.
dispite my wife being threatened with an injunction not to put feedback on I don't give a toss people got the right to know who they are buying from

I brought a car from them end of November. I wish I had gone with my gut as the day I picked the car up Dean (sales Rep) when on about how the worst part of his job is when it goes wrong!! Before I got the car home 40 mins drive the engine light came on. Rang them straight away and told me to call again on Monday. They wanted me to take it local garage under the autoguard warranty instead of returning it to them. Persuaded them to take it back to get diagnosed and they did provide me with a courtesy car (one positive I suppose) they had the car for 4/5 days said it was a plug that needed cleaning and the car was good to go. Had the car back for 24hrs it felt sluggish and poor acceleration up hills! Then engine light back on again and noticed dripping under the bonnet. Called them again and asked for the details of the garage who looked at it and to find out what was done. I was told they couldn’t give out that information (red flag). They wanted me to take it to my local garage to get fixed under the warranty. I spoke to my local garage who kindly offered to run diagnostics came back with alternator fault and catalytic converter not working.

By this point I had enough and had no faith in the car at all or the dealership. I requested a full refund under 30 day consumer rights act and that was eventually agreed. I returned the car in Dec.
I returned the car to them after emailing aftersales manager and call with Zac (sales rep) plus text messages stating I would return the car on the 15th Dec. I even had Zac sign a document confirming safe receipt of the car and docs etc. i was told by aftersales it takes 14 days to process a refund! 14 days went no communication from aftersales when I chased I was told that I had returned the car unannounced so no refund had been processed (even though I had proof that this was not true). All in all it took almost 6 weeks for the refund to take place I had no update/communication from aftersales manager. I found this out through my finance company and finance broker. All this time I was without a car.
Also during the 6 weeks wait they sold the car to someone else before my finance was settled.
Although I would email regularly for an update I was either ignored or had an unhelpful arrogant response (there is no phone number for aftersales and they don’t share their name either).

We are in March now and I still have not received my cash deposit back. I was told by aftersales that they had refunded it to my card (again another lie) when I requested proof of this I had one email saying it will take 14 days to investigate and ignored ever since.

If you read this platinum cars I would appreciate my deposit being refunded as you have no right withholding it!

I am absolutely appalled by this company and the stress it put on me and my family for 6 weeks is disgusting!

My advice to anyone reading these reviews DO NOT buy a car from this dealership. Go elsewhere as like me you will regret it. Stay well clear.

Interestingly when I have mentioned their name to local people they appear to have a bad rep and well known for sell dodgy, rubbish cars.

Brought a car last week, first noticed it on their facebook page and from first message communication was quick and detailed. Zac was very accommodating and arranged a viewing around my working hours and was a pleasure to deal with a very professional honest bloke, nothing was too much trouble, everything explain in detail. Very happy with the car so far. Highly recommended for no fuss car buying :)
