I don’t usually leave reviews, but this desk has honestly been a game changer. I went for the DropTop Single 34” in Obsidian Oak and it looks incredible in my room.

It’s saved so much space and makes everything feel more organised. I mainly use it for studying at home, but it’s just as good when I want to switch off and play some games.

I’ve even added my own custom artwork on the front, which gives it a really personal feel. Even showed it to a couple of my Uni mates and now they’re jealous 😂

Great product, fast and helpfull customer service

Really happy with not only the product but also the customer service. I had a particular set of circumstances during the install and the team was very responsive attentive and found a solution very quickly. I’ve also contacted several times after the delivery regarding other questions and they were just as attentive.

I received my desk the DropTop Duo 27 Light this week. The product is good and I like that you can customize it to your liking. I didn’t have to wait super long to receive it. However I feel misled. It advertises that it is already assembled. But apparently that is for a specific type, so be prepared to pay additional for a handyman and the DHL fee if you are ordering it out of the US. Customer service wasn’t super helpful much. Good product but not sure I’d get it again.

I’ve had my DropTop for 3 years now. It’s absolutely fantastic especially if you are limited to space, not sure what I would have done without it.

Absolutely love my desk…I was looking for something that wouldn’t take up loads of space when I’m not using it, look aesthetically pleasing and something that’s great quality - Pith & Stem ticks all of these boxes. It’s made working from home more fun for me, where once I’m finished with work I have something to distinguish between work & home by folding the desk away. I love the built in features and the sturdiness of it. Customer service is also 10/10. I would highly recommend

I love my drop top desk from pith and stem - it’s functional and beautiful. I love having my work desk tucked away and having my bedroom back at the end of the day.

Very good deal I am very happy. I only add 4 stars because I had a bad surprise with the taxes at the post. I was delivered in France and had to pay 99 euro for taxes at the post because it came from UK. I would I love to know it before to buy it.

I received really great customer service from Pith & Stem. I changed my mind upon receiving the package and refused my order. They replied to my emails promptly and will be giving me a refund.

Sad that I won't get the desk, but I'll definitely remember this experience if I am to buy a new desk in the future :)

I had high expectations when purchasing this desk, given its price point of over £1500. The craftsmanship and design are undeniably impressive, but unfortunately, the experience was let down by poor attention to detail and customer service.

Upon installation, I discovered that the screws required to attach the VESA plates to my screens were missing. This small oversight resulted in unnecessary hassle—I had to source replacements myself and incur additional costs to rehire installation services via TaskRabbit. For a premium product, I expected better quality control.

I contacted the company about the issue, and while they initially acknowledged the mistake, their response fell short of resolving the additional inconvenience. Despite explaining that I had to pay for installation twice due to their oversight, I received no follow-up or compensation for the extra costs incurred.

Great product, but disappointing service. When you're spending this much, you expect a seamless experience—not to be left covering additional expenses caused by a lack of thoroughness.

I recently received my DropTop wall mounted desk - and oh my, what a great desk! It genuinely is more than a just wall mounted desk - it is a complete WFH office in one! For years I have struggled to WFH from my dining table - which was still a step up from a laptop on a cushion on the sofa - which is how I WFH during Covid.

This really is a game changer. I genuinely cannot wait to show it off to my friends. My Partner loves it too and wants to use mine - think he may be placing his own order soon!

I love the wall art on my DropTop Duo 27 - I opted for a photo from a photographer I like. I truly forget its a desk when it is closed and I just love to look at the wall art front.

Yes, there was a small delay in communication when I emailed in, but they apologised and to be honest it was worth the wait. I always love to support young and growing businesses - especially for products made in the UK.

All in all a great product and one I would recommend to anyone.

We ordered and paid in full in December. Lead time was supposed to be 8 weeks. Asked them in mid March where the order was. Gave some reasons for delay and promised to ship the week after. That didn't happen. We called again. Promised another delivery which still hasn't happen. We are 4 months in the order now and we booked installer twice for nothing. This company doesn't care. Don't buy from companies like this. You are wasting your time and money.

Ordered 28th Dec. 10 weeks later I'm still only receiving generic marketing email with no estimate on my delivery. Have messaged sales team for clarity 3 times with no response.

Given product is significant investment, I'd expert better service.

I’ve been trying to get support since October (4 months) because the electronics received were faulty and cutting in and out. It’s been a frustrating process. I can’t even fix it on my own - I think it’s their installed hardware because I’ve replaced every replaceable cord with a new one.

We ordered our DropTop desk on Feb 2nd.

The site and subsequent emails stated:

"Given the current high demand for our DropTop™ desks, please note the estimated lead times are:

DropTop™ Light: 1-3 weeks"

..despite reaching out to Customer Services (Success Team) over Facebook messenger, we've not been given a date for delivery.

It's frustrating that it's now late and a date isn't being provided - we don't mind it taking longer as I'm sure the product will be worth it ...but there should be some basic communication.

Pith and Stem should revise their lead times to set expectations properly.

Absolutely love this product. Pith and Stem have managed to create me a little working oasis with their cleverly designed desk. I cannot recommend it enough.

Plus their customer service team are remarkable and truly go above and beyond - the best customer experience I have had in a very long time!
