My parents had noticed some damp along the skirting board in one of their rooms. We decided the best course of action was to have a Damp Survey for which we appointed Peter Cox. Oskar attended and was quickly able to assure my parents of the next steps and rough costings during that visit and a formal report was received a few days later. The remedial works were booked in with a short turn around, the office sent comprehensive notes about what we needed to do to prepare the room ahead and checked in to see that everything was in hand. The team from Peter Cox were professional, punctual and polite. They worked very 'cleanly' leaving no mess. A special mention must go to Joseph who, while he worked, sang beautiful songs to my Mother who has dementia - and this absolutely made her day. A big thank you to Peter Cox for making what could have been a difficult experience for my parents easy and straightforward.

We judged the experience as very professional. Mark Patrick was very helpful and understanding. He seemed well qualified for the job. With the necessary testing equipment.

We use Peter Cox specifically Mark Patrick a lot and they are always helpful, quick to the job and extremely informative as is their reports.

Steve, Shaun and Mick were so professional and friendly when they came to fix the roof. They worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. We were kept informed of the progress and shown pictures once the work was complete.

I have had very good communication throughout. Excellent workmanship , tidy and clean.

The damp proof team took great care to cover the floor to keep mess at a minimum and explained what they had come to do. The plasterer was a lovely man but because he had to come back a week later there was more mess than we expected.

From the beginning with the investigation by the surveyor Mark A., the invoicing and planning through Steph and the final work being carried out by Mark Kennedy the process was fantastic and on time. Mark K. did a great job and also suggested an improvement to complete the work. Would highly recommend this company.

Friendly staff and quick response both on answering query and providing quote.
Staff turned up when they said they would. Further additional work identified early and dealt with.
Staff leave meant the proposed time-scale slipped a bit which caused some issues.
Need for long lead item not identified at time of quote leading to later delays.
Overall, pleased with result. Would recommend to others.

I required a damp and timber survey at my grandmothers property due to her developing dementia and having to move into a care home. I cannot give enough praise to my surveyors James Davies and Mark Parton, who's expertise and professionalism were second to none! James and Mark guided me through what remedial works were necessary, in what was genuinely a tough time for us as a family giving us peace of mind! A great company with surveyors that really do care and are there to help every step of the way. Thank you so much!!!!

We had a surveyor visit who recommended a course of action which we deemed to be reasonable, and the work was then carried out on the 17th September.
We do not have any expertise or knowledge in damp issues and therefore trust that the solution offered was the right one.
The work was carried out promptly and we have no complaints. Time will tell if the advised solution solves our damp problem.

Fantastic people. Very professional. Reliable. Alexander explained clearly what problems we had and what needed doing. Jaden made sure all correspondence was clear and on time. The people who carried out the work (Ollie and Lee I think) were thorough and left the house really clean and tidy.

The technicians did an excellent job of my damp proof treatment, needed in 2 rooms. They were friendly and professional, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Timely response to the initial enquiry, arrived on time for the survey. Clear quotation with clear scope of work. Once engaged, they kept us informed of the process, arrived on time to carry out the work. Conducted the work in a professional manner and left the property in a clean and tidy condition. We asked Peter Cox to investigate a recent problem we had with internal damp. After an appointment was made for a survey to be done by a Mr. Gareth Hayward the gentleman himself phoned us to announce his arrival. Having duly arrived he impressed us greatly by diagnosing the cause and the solution to our problem.
He also gave some expert advice on how to check for and deal with other problems that he came across in his job, should they ever arise. This is the second occasion we have dealt with Peter Cox and have found them to be very good at their job. The office staff are very polite and the surveyors are really good. We would certainly use them again.

Communication was first rate....no pressure. Workmen were polite,on time, explained the process, worked in a very tidy manner and cleared up all mess before they left.

Joshua Broadbent spent time investigating and discussing the issues with us. We were very pleased by his visit and plan to have any work undertaken by Peter Cox as a result.
