Just had 2 young lads Kieron & Jake arrive and fit the shutters who were very polite , very clean and most importantly did a fantastic job - they look great, cheers gents 👍

Excellent customer service from start to finish. The installation guys Dylan and Flinn were extremely professional, had a perfect eye for detail and nothing seemed too much. It’s hard to come by workman ship that good quality this day and age. Thank you very much, happy customers here.

Extremely disappointing experience with Perfect Shutters – £4,500 spent

We had our shutters fitted by Perfect Shutters in July at a cost of £4,500. Unfortunately, the quality of the installation and the subsequent customer service have been extremely disappointing.

From the outset, we identified a number of issues, including:

Shutters/doors fitted in the wrong positions
Missing hinge pins
Holes and poor finishing in the caulking
Large chips out of the doors
Chips and damage to the louvres
Top strips collapsing

We have now had four separate visits from the company to address these issues. On each occasion, we have been led to believe that the necessary repairs or replacements would be carried out. However, the visits have largely resulted in measurements, photographs and notes being taken, with the issues still not properly resolved.

Despite repeatedly contacting the office, we feel that we have been fobbed off and passed from one person to another, without any meaningful resolution to the problems.

We paid a substantial amount of money for what we expected to be a high-quality product and professional installation. Instead, months later, we are still left with defective and damaged shutters and no satisfactory resolution.

After giving Perfect Shutters multiple opportunities to put matters right, we are now seeking legal advice regarding our options.

Based on our experience, we would not recommend Perfect Shutters. I would strongly encourage anyone considering using this company to do their research carefully

Perfect shutters are the best! We had windows and patio doors and they are class! The lads that fitted the shutters were Helpful, polite and done an excellent job! The people on the phones are helpful and managed to get our fitting in earlier with a cancelation! All round 5 star!

There was a long wait - approximately 10 weeks but it was worth the wait. The surveyors were extremely professional and offered sound advice. The fitters were very courteous and careful to respect my home, they removed all rubbish and took the time to explain how the shutters worked. Very professional company- I recommend them.

We contacted several companies to enquire about shutters for our home and eventually chose Perfect Shutters, and we were glad that we did!

After deciding on the shutters we would like a survey was arranged and we were advised on the lead time up to installation.

Installation for problem free, Trevor was friendly, efficient removed all packaging and even hoovered up before he left!

From the initial first step, customer service was spot on. The sales person visited and went through each variation you can get, enough different payment options to sit my needs and notified at each step. The 2 lads that came out were spot on, they were quick careful and very considerate, and one the work was complete a follow up call was made to double check I was happy. Would highly recommend!!

We placed an order for bespoke shutters for our bay window with perfect shutters. We were informed it would take about 3 months for them to be manufactured and delivered, as we were informed no rush this wasn’t an issue. During the 3 months we received one update on our shutters letting us know they had been completed and where in transit from the factory. Once the 3 months had passed and we hadn’t heard anything I got in touch with perfect shutters and was told my installation had been booked in, nobody had contacted to arrange this with me or even let me know and I was away on holiday the date they had booked so had to reschedule. They arrived the following week to install the shutters, however after installing the 4 middle panels they discovered the 2 end panels didn’t fit as the measurements had been taken incorrectly. They told me someone would come out to remeasure, I heard nothing for a week and had to chase this up. They then came out to remeasure and told me someone would arrange the pickup of the 2 panels to be taken to their workshop to be adjusted, again I heard nothing for a week and had to chase it up. Someone came and collected the panels and took them off to be adjusted and I was told someone will be in touch when they’re ready to be re-installed, I heard nothing for a couple of weeks and had to chase it up. When they arrived to fit the panels one of them fitted however the other was still too big. At this point I’d lost all confidence that my £1600 shutters were even going to be finished let alone look like the bespoke, high quality shutters we had expected. We have finally (after a lot of chasing up from our end) had the shutters fully installed. We had to ask the fitter to address a problem with fairly large gaps at either end as well as some holes visible from the outside of the house which we assume were supposed to be for screwing the frame in. The 2 end pieces are now noticeably more narrow than the other 4 panels, however we have decided it best just to accept this as a win. I did at one point state in an email that we believe some form of compensation would be fair given the stress, time and dissatisfaction with the service we have had, I was told that once the works have all been sorted and both parties are happy it would be discussed, I have heard nothing since. I thought about chasing up this discussion of compensation, but we weren’t actually bothered about getting some money back, it was more about the gesture of admitting the service was substandard and wanting to have a customer leave happy so to speak. Having to chase up compensation therefore would make this gesture meaningless.

Today I had shutters fitted for my daughter. The guys JAMIE & OWEN were very professional. They were friendly and made me feel comfortable whilst they were efficiently doing their work . They respected her house by taking off their shoes and removing all their rubbish . I will be using this company shortly for my own house . Thanks very much guys 😊
