Terrible service
Confirmed appointment between 11:00 and 13:00. I rearranged my day and waited in from 10:30 until 15:00. Despite chasing for an update, I received no communication whatsoever from them.
A complete waste of my day and very unprofessional to say the least. I would not recommend this company.
UPDATE - your response does not even reflect my experience. You are talking about someone else here clearly - I had booked in for an appt for a two hour window to discuss installation yet your installer did not arrive, nor did they even get in contact with me. I did chase for an update but your company did not even get back to me. The fact you replied about an incorrect experience speaks volumes.
***FURTHER UPDATE***
I quote from your original reply - “Our installation team arrived at your property at approximately 10:30am and left before 12:30pm, once the installation had been completed.”
As I mentioned previously, your response is clearly referring to the wrong experience. If you read my initial review, you’ll see that I booked a two-hour appointment for an initial visit, but nobody arrived. Your claim that someone was at my property for two hours is simply factually incorrect.
To clarify another point, my Trustpilot profile consists of many 5-star reviews, so the suggestion that I routinely leave negative feedback is unfounded.
Please feel free to refer this review for further investigation. I have all the evidence needed to support the factual points I have made.

---UPDATE---
Hi Tom,
For clarity, we are aware of who we are responding to and have reviewed the complete history of your booking and our communications before responding.
Your updated review remains factually inaccurate and does not reflect the appointment records or the experience we have documented.
Our response is based on the documented records relating to your appointment, including booking documentation and recorded telephone conversations. These records provide a clear account of the communications that took place and have been reviewed by different members of the team at Perfect Shutters.
We take all customer feedback seriously and are always prepared to acknowledge when we have fallen short. Equally, we work hard to provide a high-quality product and personal service, so we believe it is appropriate to protect our reputation where statements made publicly are demonstrably incorrect.
As a local business, we rely on honest and accurate customer feedback. We’re sure you can appreciate, that reviews have a significant impact on businesses such as ours, which is why we feel it’s important to address your feedback.
We recognise that customers may have different expectations or perspectives, but reviews should always be an accurate account of what actually took place.
It’s apparent that your Trustpilot profile shows a consistent pattern of one-star reviews of other businesses. Whilst everyone is entitled to share their experience, reviews should be an accurate reflection of the facts.
As the statements made in this review are contradicted by our documented records, we will be referring this matter to Trustpilot for investigation under their guidelines.
We would much prefer to resolve this matter directly. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, we remain happy to do so privately.
As our position has been clearly stated and is supported by our records, we will not be commenting further on this platform.
---------
Hi Tom,
We’re disappointed to read your review, as it does not reflect the records we hold for your appointment.
Prior to your installation, we called you on two occasions by telephone. During these conversations, we advised that our installers were expected to arrive at approximately 10:00am, subject to traffic and any unforeseen delays, and this was acknowledged at the time. These calls were made on a recorded line for quality and training purposes.
Our installation team arrived at your property at approximately 10:30am and left before 12:30pm, once the installation had been completed.
We therefore cannot agree with the statement that there was no communication provided or that you were left waiting until 3:00pm.
We have also spoken with our installation team following completion. We are pleased to hear that the installation was carried out successfully and you where happy with the works carried out.
We always welcome genuine feedback where we have fallen short, but it is equally important that reviews accurately reflect the service provided.

You came highly recommended
My friend had got you to fit her shutters and I loved them. She highly recommended you. After having shutters in her previous house supplied by a different company she thought you were excellent. She told me how amazing they are and would be for my home. She wasn't wrong. They are fabulous and I'm so glad to have them. I have nagged my husband about wanting these for a very long time and finally he agreed. Now he's begrudgingly admitting that I was right 😄 and how good they are. He also was very impressed with your service..

Excellent shutters!
The gentleman that came initially was really helpful and knowledgeable, even answered a text message with a query on a Sunday when he wasn’t working.
The ladies on the phone that we spoke to were also really nice and helpful too.
When the two chaps (called Neil and Trevor, I believe) came to fit the shutters, they were lovely, very quick, and have done an excellent job! There was an issue with one of the boxes with shutters in that was missing, so we were missing two panels. They were very apologetic, and they were great at sorting that out.
All around a great experience, would highly recommend, the shutters are fabulous, the quality is amazing, and we are very very pleased!

I bought my first set of shutters from…
I bought my first set of shutters from Perfect Shutters four years ago, and they were absolutely perfect. When we moved house, ordering shutters from them again was one of the first things I wanted to do based on my previous experience.
My new shutters were fitted before Christmas, but unfortunately I have noticed that the quality is not as good as it was before. It feels as though there may have been some cost-cutting or a change in supplier.
What has been even more disappointing is the after-sales service. Since installation, I have reported faults, but customer service has been poor. Several appointments have been changed, and I have had to spend a lot of time chasing for updates. The issues are still not fully resolved, and I am currently waiting for yet another revisit.
Based on my recent experience, I would not recommend Perfect Shutters. It’s very disappointing, especially given how excellent my first experience with the company was.

Hi SJB,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
We're genuinely grateful that after having such a positive experience with us four years ago, you chose Perfect Shutters again for your new home. As a family business that has recently celebrated 30 years of trading, that continued trust and support means a great deal to us.
We're therefore really sorry to read that this experience hasn't lived up to the standards you rightly expected from us. We work hard to continually improve both our products and the service we provide, so it's especially disappointing to hear when we've fallen short.
We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with ongoing issues, changed appointments and the time you've spent chasing for updates. That isn't the experience we want any of our customers to have, and we're sorry you've been left feeling disappointed.
Please could you email us at customersupport@perfectshutters.co.uk with your order details?
We'd really appreciate the opportunity to investigate what's happened, review your account in full and work with you to get everything resolved as quickly as possible.
Thank you again for your feedback. We hope we'll have the opportunity to put things right and restore the confidence you previously had in Perfect Shutters.
