Lovely Shoreline Marina carpet fitted in our static caravan. Needs to be hard-wearing so we chose 50oz. It looks fabulous and we're really happy to buy from a company whose employees all own part of it.

We had a penthouse Stateside carpet in colour Jersey installed. There were some manufacturing issues with discoloured tufts in various places in the carpet very visible when laid. These were corrected. However within18 months the colour of the carpet had faded very considerably. This was throughout the entire room, not just near the window where one might expect some fading. We complained and eventually Penthouse arranged for an independent inspector. His report said there was no defect but did not explain how the colour change was so apparent. We were told it could not be a fault as no-one else had complained and therefore the carpet would not be tested for colour fading. The photos show a completely different colour compared to some off cuts we had rolled up.Some fading is reasonable but not this amount. Extremely disappointed with expensive wool carpet and Penthouse response.

We are still waiting for the samples

Samples order, carpet now on order, looking forward to getting it installed later this month.

Smooth process

Wanted samples of suitable carpet, but really ..... how anyone can decide on a sample that can be no bigger than a drinks coaster is just a waste of their postage fee because they just went in the bin. To be fair, they are not the only ones that do this and it just shows how impersonal this has all become!!

I requested a sample: it was sent in a timely fashion. I was very pleased.

Bought Seasons Equinox carpet from our local supplier and had fitted in Dec 2024 within weeks we noticed fading on the stairs and were we sit this seemed very early to be getting wear on a 10 year warranty carpet. Our supplier came out to inspect in Mar 2025 and spoke with Penthouse who said we should give the carpet time to settle in and continue to regularly vacuum to remove the excess pile. We gave them until June and the supplier returned and agreed the carpet didnt seem right he took some photos and sent these to Penthouse. They arranged for an independent inspector to come, and he took more pictures and said he would submit his report to Penthouse. Surprise surprise no manufacturing faults. Its just poor quality carpet that flattens and causes shading within weeks of fitting. From previous reviews we are resigned to the fact that Penthouse are selling carpet through suppliers under false pretences that will fade within weeks and is not fit for purpose and hide behind the no manufacturing fault excuse to continue to defraud the British public. Have advised the supplier to not stock Penthouse carpet as they will only get more dissatisfied customers and can ill afford the bad feedback in a small town. Only option left for us is recovery from our credit card company

I have place 3 separate orders for samples in the last couple of months and they have still not arrived.

Really disappointed as we have bought ALL of our carpets from you for the last 38 years.

I love your carpets, very good quality. However I requested some samples a week ago as I wish to purchase another one and I am still waiting for them to arrive.

I've already got Penthouse carpets and had them for 7 years.
They wear fantastically. Yes of course they shed for a while, however this is expected with a quality carpet. It's lovely and soft to the touch too. I've got the Cumbrian 50 Derwent which is a light stone grey colour and works with most furnishings. It doesn't show treading much and if it does, the pile instantly restores when vacuuming.

We totally agree with the reviews of 20/2/25, 19/3/24, 17/7/23 and 13/12/23.
Exactly the same happened to us. Nothing more to add.
