I was quoted £443 for a replacement windscreen linkage unit at Pentagon Burton on Trent.
I thought that was a little excessive and have managed now to have it done for £160, bit of a price difference, don’t think I’ll use pentagon again 🤑

USELESS MANSFIELD PENTAGON SPOKEN TO CHRIS MANAGER AT MANSFIELD BRANCH HAD MY CAR,,AVOID TAKING A TOY CAR THERE .,WOW.. BAD CAR LOOKED LIKE A CRACK DEN INSIDE COVERED IN WHAT I COULD SEE WAS WHITE POWDER, ALL OVER MY SEATS AND INTERIOR. TOLD INSURANCE COMPANYS AFTER SOMEONE HIT ME WHILE IN BED, ASLEEP OUTSIDE MY HOME. TOLD INURANCE COMPANY THAT WHOLE BACK LIGHTS HAD FAILED DUE TO ACCIDENT, WOULDNT WORK, ENDED UP SENDIN ME CAR BACK WITH NO LIGHTS LOL. YEAP. ITS GETS BETTER, I THEN GOT IT SORTED TURNS OUT WAS A LED BULB CAUSING CANBUS ON CARS COMPUTER SAID WAS A FAULT IF THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOIGN THEY WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS INSTEAD IT TOOK ME 3 AND HALF HRS TO FIX MYSELF..!! BECAUSE THESE ARE TOO UNSHURE HOW TO FIX A CAR WITH A BULB ISSUE WOW.. IF THATS NOT BAD ENOUGH. PULLED ALL MY STUFF OUT THE BOOT LEFT IT ON MY REAR SEAT AND STAINED ALL MY BACK SEAT. IF I WERE A CUSTOMER SENDING A CAR HERE I WOULD CERTAINLY THINK TWICE BUNCH OF ARRRRRSES,! AVOID,

Bought a used approved car from Pentagon Lincoln. It had not been checked, just valeted.Have an ongoing issue with them. Gearbox has failed. They are now arguing as to who is paying, if it is covered under warranty and how long it will take. The service department all contradict themselves and they promise one thing then say another. I shall never buy from them again.

Bought brand new car from vauxhall at the end of 2016 ...been serviced by them... broke down several times ...the service team come over as clueless ..just been serviced now broke down again and the service team can't fit it in for another week ?? Although told them there was an issue with it when put it in for the service they couldn't find anything wrong because the car hadn't stored any faults ..useless would...avoid the whole dealership. ...

The clutch on my 83 year old Mother's Corsa failed on a Sunday. She had it towed to Pentagon, in Daybrook, Nottingham. She spoke to the Service Department on the Monday and they quoted £449 for a replacement clutch. When she phoned later to arrange collection she was shocked when she was quoted a final cost of £760 for the repairs. Pentagon did not communicate the need for extra work or extra costs. She was shocked but paid the bill. I am appauled that this large main dealer would take advantage of a vulnerable older person. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I have bought 4 cars from Pentagon. 2 Seat and 2 Vauxhall. Twice now I have had problems with service plans and appalling customer care. Today I asked to speak to the manager whom I found to be flippant, patronising and disrespectful.

Never again will I have any dealings with Pentagon.

Bought a BMW from Oldham in January, deal was ok and salesman good to deal with so can't complain about that. Picked the car up and really please, delivered on time and looked immaculate. Brand new MOT and new tyres finished off the initial experience nicely. Car was backed with the Network Q warranty so what could go wrong, well 2 months in had to take the car to my trusted local garage as noise from the rear and excessive heat from the wheel. Turned out to be a broken brake calliper and I wasn't allowed to drive the car until fixed, having called Pentagon to speak to the salesman about having the brakes fixed I was advised it was wear and tear so I couldn't claim, £350 bill for 2 months ownership. When the mechanics had the wheels off the brakes were in a bad condition so not sure what the "multi point" check actually checked as the car was dangerous to drive. Today the car is again sat in the garage for the other brake callipers with no doubt another big bill not covered by Network Q. Moral of the story is get an independent check done on a car you want to buy and don't be blinded by the back up of a warranty from a garage trying to sell you a car it's not worth the paper it's written on. Disappointed at the lack of interest from Pentagon when first reported the brakes and obviously the added cost incurred on a purchase made a few months earlier.

We bought our car from Pentagon Lincoln. Was a nice experience buying the car. All was well untill it went wrong. They sold us the approved used warranty. Not worth the paper it is written on. Far too busy to even take a look at the car let alone try and resolve the issue. Laugh at you down the phone. Can't drive the car but want us to wait weeks so they can fit us in when they have time. Would definitely not recommend that anyone buy a car from them as after you have bought the car they dont want to know. Service department is the worst I have ever come across.

Was ensured nothing and I mean nothing was wrong with the car after two days I as a female had to check the car there was faults which then I had to call get the car taken back get a courtesy car while my car was getting fixed
Personally avoid dealerships like this who give you false statements and then try and say they doing you a favour - complete joke more like wasting people’s time and money !!!!!

I have just returned from Pentagon Eccles. We are looking for a new, medium crossover but had not considered Vauxhall until I heard a radio advert saying test drive any new Vauxhall and receive an Amazon speaker. We made an appointment with James, a test drive of a Grandland booked in for today. On arrival, the disabled spaces were blocked by test drive cars. We met with James who offered us a drink. We explained to him we would just be buying the car outright and we already had an offer from 'we buy any car' for our current car. It then took 20 minutes for James to tell us he was obliged to run through finance offers with us, talk about paint protection, gap insurance and more. Eventually, we went outside to a demonstrator. Unfortunately, it was clear the boot lip would cause problems for my wife's mobility scooter. I said there would be little point carrying on with the test drive as the car would not be suitable. We went back inside and James disappeared to explain to his boss why we would be buying a Vauxhall. Some 30 minutes later we left. I asked about the voucher for the speaker but as we had not taken a test drive this was not available. I said perhaps we could just take the car around the block as we had already wasted enough time but got the impression we would be there for at least another 30 minutes to talk about PCPs or options before that would happen, just a waste of everyone's time. It is a shame, we will not be buying from Pentagon group again and probably not look at Vauxhalls as they make it sound like you can just turn up, have a look around and test drive a car, but even for a ‘cash’ buyer with no part exchange, this was not our experience.

Worst service I have ever received from a supposedly reputable company. Tried to say I needed two repairs to my car that I had done the previous month. When challenged they quickly back tracked and made a lame excuse that the repairs identified just needed minor adjustment. Reported this to the desk supervisor who said he would investigate - still had no reply. Took car in under warranty for a simple part to be fitted and it took them a week to order it and then 9 hours to do . For the top price you pay I expect a lot better service. After being a loyal customer for 8 years will never use them again. I am still unsure if the part fitted under warranty has actually been done. DO NOT USE!!

If you want to be pressured with a load of sales spiel into 1000s of pounds of over priced and pointless extras when purchasing a car, use this dealer. Very polite until they realise your not stupid and they won't be earning any extra commission from you, then the attitude changes. Just avoid this place, over priced, pushy sales men. I used to have my MOTs done here and it's a shame as the guy i spoke to during the MOT process was fantastic, but thanks to the sales men trying to rip me off...never again will I step foot near the place. AVOID !

Recently bought a 2016 vauxhall Viva , 11k milage so very clean car, went through the network Q checks.wasnt till we got car home that we noticed under passenger door sill area that there was a Dent on the underside.contacted pentagon Burton to see how this was missed on the checks, only to be told this would of been classed as cosmetic damage & wouldn't have been picked up on the report, so very good service upon purchasing car, but like alot of main dealers once you drive away show no interest.

I recently bought a car from Pentagon Sheffield and had a smooth brilliant experience. Dealt with Wesley and was brilliant from start to finish. I had my finance sorted before i started the process so missed out on most of the paperwork and optional added extras but i knew what i wanted and when i collected the car it was near enough perfect, they even refurbished 3 wheels (we only agreed on 2). It is also work noting that i opted to remove the £20 fuel charge they add on to do a full tank myself-when i went to collect the car it had over half a tank! When i took it for a test drive the fuel warning light was on so they did put fuel in for me even without paying that £20 and to get it to half it would have been around £30-£35 so couldn't be happier and cant recommend them enough!

My work van was was taken to Pentagon Sheffield upon return the repairs were poor and items had been stolen out my van (iPhone 7+, around £20 and a old Nokia mobile phone) after we had reported the items stolen the company said the items had been found and when we went to collect them we were met by a rude manager that said the items were not stolen and we must have stolen them our selves even though we have a voice mail from the company saying the items were found in the workshop under some tools. The items were in the glove box of the van and the damage was on the rear, this Is unexpectable and I would not recommend the company to anyone. STAY WELL AWAY FROM PENTAGON.

Very rude staff and manager. Didn't disclosed missing fuse box cover when we agreed the deal in phone and email. I visited dealer for parts exchange. Although there is a dent in my car , we had already discussed about it in email and phone and they had viewed it with technician personally when I brought my car in dealer. She still agreed for parts exchange on same agreed price we discussed before. We almost exchanged contract in same agreed price. But before exchanging contracts, I requested her for final inspection of the car by myself personally. And only then i saw fuse cover missing with exposed wires. when i inquired about it, lady staff with whom I had deal with began to get really rude, she said deal with it. Either sort it yourself or leave the dealer. So I requested her that I would like to deal with manager. Who was watching us from another desk. She later questioned me rudely why I called manager, is it because she's female and that's why I would not talk with her?. when I enquired manager he said that I would have to pay extra one thousand. I told him that she and technicians saw my car and we were about to exchange the contract on pre agreed price and why sudden increase in cost, he said that he is manager and he makes decisions .
I travelled to and fro for 340 miles to do the parts exchange and wasted my day in humiliation. But I am glad that I didn't brought car from them.

STAY AWAY AND AVOID Pentagon Lincoln Renault- Staff are lovely but Business Sales Manager, Robert Burns was so rude and rash and aggressive towards us as customers. He was critical of our attitude and temperament no way to treat a cash buyer. What an incompetent human being.

My sons car was towed into pentagon derby by the RAC as the temperature gauge was reading 130 degrees. The car hadn't lost any coolant but pentagon gave him a quote for a new water pump for £364:18, they also told him that he wanted new rear discs and brake pads, £362:40, if that wasn't enough they told him he wanted two new rear springs at a cost of £235:20 a grand total of £961:78p.
I am a vehicle mechanic by trade and I told my son to pick his car up and I would have a look. The coolant system didn't require a water pump, I changed the temperature sender unit, (£12:99) and replenished the coolant. The brake pads are ok still quite a few miles left on them and the discs are serviceable just normal wear and tear. The rear springs... there is about an inch snapped off the bottom of the spring which sits inside the bottom cup. If you have a quote off pentagon, please get a second opinion off an independent mechanic. This isn't the first time pentagon have been caught out. My insignia went in last August as the power steering failed, after switching the vehicle off for a few minutes and restarted the power steering was ok, but I took it to pentagon just to be sure. Dropped off the car on Saturday September 1st and they started work on it on the Monday. I had a phone call from pentagon, (Darren) at approximately 16:50 saying they couldn't find anything wrong with it and they would continue to look on Tuesday. I received another call at approximately the same time on the Tuesday afternoon and Darren stated that, "we can't find anything wrong with the car, all the codes have been sent to Vauxhall when do you want to pick your car up?".
I said I would let him know as I was in London. I went online just to see where my car was, and as the service department close at 18:30 I was surprised to see my car being driven along the A50 towards Stoke, coming off the A50 onto the A515 towards Ashbourne through Ashbourne onto the A517 towards Belper. Long story short, after being told my car was ready for collection it was being driven around the Peak District by the, "assistant service manager". I wouldn't trust pentagon derby as far as I can throw them. They used to be good to deal with many moons ago, but standards have slipped considerably in the last few years.
What I did forget to mention was that whilst in their care the nearside rear wheel arch was scratched, yet again Darren said, "it must have happened somewhere else or when someone was walking past". The thing is, the scratch was inside the car as well, which means you don't have to be a detective to work out that the door was open when scratched.

Cars are great but had problem recently which should have been warranty job but was told if they think it isn't would cost 95 pounds to have looked at it total rip off they will do anything to get out of doing the work under warranty needless to say won't be going back there again aviod at all cost
