Paid 88.45 for International Express service to receive my package within 24-48 hours. 5 Days have passed and looking at tracking the package still hasn't left the senders country.

Sent my expensive racing bike in August 2021 (nsured it of course) and till this day received no compensation for the damage of the carbon frame - which is very expensive to fix. When contacted, told me it is too late to open the claim. Complete lack of communication with the customer. Avoid if you're sending something valuable. What's the point of insurance if I cannot claim it. Also, box had 100s of FRAGILE written on it. If it is fragile, it means it should be handled carefully. It was not.
Edit: I contacted your support for a few weeks since December 2021 and I was told multiple times that nothing can be done. Very smart.

Disgraceful organisation.
This Company charged me a small fortune for delivery of a valuable item abroad, failed to give correct advice that led to the package being returned by customs, and then held the package ransome, with a massive relese fee, under threat of the destruction of the item.

In this day and age where so many companies don't even have an ability to contact them in anyway, I found dealing with Parcel direct quite refreshing. Stephen indeed needs a mention as there are so few people left that understand their customers needs. Booked my parcels, collected from my house and tracked all the way to my customers. Thank you.

Terrible experience dealing with parcel direct I paid for them to collect and drop off a parcel for me on the 7th and its now the 18th I have contacted them a number of times with reply's of sending a driver asap to collect then they wouldn't show up.This has happened more then 3 occasions last week I have since asked for a refund and I will go else where for a courier, extremely disappointed with them.I hope they can sort out whatever issue it is there having to be letting down there customers so badly.

What a useless courier firm! I left my precious "International Priority" package at the nominated drop-off point on 20th December ("due for collection on 21-12-2021" according to Parcel Direct's Invoice #130585), since which time the Tracking has read only "Shipment information sent to FedEx 20-12-2021 10:06" and the parcel has not moved anywhere. So this afternoon, 31st December, I went back there (in despair and disgust) and retrieved it from where it had lain, on the floor behind a supermarket counter, for eleven days. Now I'll have to go through the whole performance all over again, with a firm that can be relied on. And I'm owed a refund of €58.91 for a service that has been paid for and not provided...

These people are absolute s#it I am still waiting for them to pick up my parcel which should have been delivered by xmas. No one bothers to respond and the phone doesn't get answered, avoid these people at all cost. I suppose I should have known, you get what you pay for

To say that I am impressed is the understatement of the century. Parcel Direct you are AMAZING. what a wonderful experience from start to finish , both online and over the phone. Thank you guys so much. You actually performed a Christmas miracle. My parcel was picked up on tuesday this week in the west of Ireland and even though it is the busiest time of the year , my parcel was delivered this morning, in the exact condition it was sent in, to its recipient in GAMBIA in west Africa.
Thank you Parcel Direct for a top class service. I will most definitely be a repeat customer.

So disappointed with this company. Booked through parcel direct my parcel to the Uk. Paid and printed collection docket. At shop was told they could not scan docket, tried input manually. Wrong label provided by parcel direct even after I paid online.
My parcel was not picked up in 4 days.
I eventually had to go back to the shop to collect my parcel.
Do not deal with this company. I have made numerous phone calls, emails to request my money back.
No reply at all.
Distrustful company.
Avoid.
They took my money and did not fulfil their contract to customer.
Unbelievably this morning 29.12.21 this company answered and blamed long delays.
Did not address giving me the wrong label for my parcel. Did not address no replies to my numerous calls or emails. Beware, did not address refunding my Money I paid to this company. Never ever deal with this DISTRUSTFUL company.

Terrible service, avoid at all costs. Paid for next-day collection and it has been at the collection point for 1-week. Followed up twice and was assured the package would be collected immediately but still has not been dealt with. I rang the Parcel Direct office to ask what the delay was and they had to get UPS to call me to arrange a pick-up and issue a new order number. UPS says they have gone to the pick-up location several times and they couldn't find the package. I ended up driving to the pick-up location myself and taking the package back.
I wouldn't ask this crowd to pass me the salt across a table let alone get a package to a foreign country. Will go to An Post going forward.

My parcel (PD4118060) was sent to Ukraine on 14/10 and got stuck with customs without any possibility whatsoever for the receiver to pay the custom fee. He called, I called, I created multiple tickets, no-one has taken ownership of this problem and tried to help.
The parcel was then refused hoping that finally it would be sent back to me but now, the situation is exactly the same, even though the parcel was refused it keeps being scanned and re-scanned, and scanned again but UPS Ukraine and is going nowhere.
So not only was I robbed of 51 euros but now it looks like my parcel will be stuck forever and I will lose everything.
After dozen of conversation on the phone and email, no-one from Parcel direct has even tried to help or take ownership of this, I sent many parcels this year using multiple carriers and I have never seen such an unprofessional company. Avoid at any cost .
Update: I escalated the issue with UPS directly , they showed a lot of empathy and helped solve the problem in a few days. To be noted that parcel direct staff on the other hand had a go at me for leaving this comment claiming that I was making " false public statement".. basically calling me a liar ( I can provide the emails to PD if they want to investigate). I wished they spent the same energy helping me instead.

I was directed to a drop-off point that had never heard of Parcel Direct and could not accept my parcel. Lost a whole day because I missed other courier cut-off times. Very disappointing service. Still waiting to get my refund.
Edit: in reviewing this I discovered a 5-star glowing review supposedly written by me from last year that I never wrote and never posted. So they are using their collection of email addresses to write fake reviews.

Very quick and efficient delivery service. I emailed just before I put in my order to enquire about sending a suitcase, was promptly told to just put a black bag around it and wrap and give the dimensions when ordering. Worked perfectly and the item was delivered two days later. Such a cheap and efficient service and saved me a 650km round trip and €60 diesel! Pleasure to deal with.

So I booked 7 parcels through them to be mailed from Ireland to UK. I paid for insurance as well as I had valuables in them. It covered a 1000€.
They sent it through UPS and lost three packages. The cost of lost goods was around 800 euros. It's been 4 months but they haven't returned a single penny although I have filled out all the required claim forms. When I contact UPS they tell me that they can't give me any information because the sender is parcel direct. Parcel directs customer service is just the worst in the world. They're careless, nonchalant, indifferent and unresponsive.
Please NEVER ever use this service. Go direct with some mail service you'll still have a say in the matter at least.
