I would 100% go back to dhl ! The delivery driver Donald was amazing and even rang to let us know that our package was delivered !! Lovely man

Last two deliveries had issues, one was shipped in a wooden box - one side was completely smashed.
Looked like a forklift went through it.
The last delivery didnt bother to call the number on the documents - or the phone number clearly printed on the door intercom.

Can’t seem to keep to their delivery times, estimate delivery was 9th April which is today it’s now 22:20 and when I check my tracker it shows it’s in a different country all together

Parcel never picked up from parcel locker with company stating locker was empty but when I reached out to the parcel locker company the parcel was still there waiting for pickup.

Can't trust a company whose driver's claim attempted delivery when I WHF, very poor service. Avoid using DHL in future.

Terribly bad service. I stayed home all day waiting for a delivery that never came only to check my delivery status then discovered it has been delivered to where exactly I do not know. This is a parcel that requires signature. I have checked round my house nothing. Nothing around my neighbourhood either. So disappointed with this service honestly. What a terrible service. Still have no clue as to where my delivery went and no photo to prove it was actually delivered.
That DHL do not deliver to a specific address in Venezuela.
I sent a document to my daughter in Venezuela through the Irish post office and was told it would take 4 business days to reach her. When it didn’t arrive to her address within 5 days. She called the head office in Caracas to be told that the 4 day delivery was only to their office in Caracas and that she was responsible to collect it from their office which is a 10hour drive away. I paid 55€ for this! I am disgusted at the service and will never use them again 😡

Terrible service. Completely wrong eircode put on address by DHL, I was told by customer service that if they don't know it, they pick any. Package needed to be signed for as it was an important document. Eircode used was for a derelict property. Spoke to customer service twice to add my correct eircode and was assured the courier would see it. Got notification it was delivered. It was not. The proof of signature was just lines. Still waiting to hear where it was left but I was told they need to investigate as the courier said it was delivered. Absolutely appalling and customer service re failed delivery is terrible. I will delete this if I get a satisfactory reply but it's looking doubtful. AVOID if possible.

If I could put in 0 I would - delivery from Scotland to Ireland, took weeks to complete - one error after another - advise not using DHL, then they charged vat on a zero value item
DHL Express gave me a specific 2-hour…
DHL Express gave me a specific 2-hour delivery window for this evening — so naturally I planned my day around being home at that time.
Instead, the courier attempted delivery at lunchtime, hours earlier than scheduled. Because of that, I now have to wait until tomorrow.
When I contacted support, I was told that if I had reached out 10 minutes earlier they might have been able to get the courier to return. So apparently the responsibility is now on the customer to somehow anticipate that DHL will ignore their own delivery window and contact them in advance?
A delivery window is not a suggestion — it’s the entire point of scheduling. If you can’t meet it, don’t provide it. Customers shouldn’t have to rearrange their day twice because DHL can’t follow the time they themselves set.
Very frustrating and a complete waste of time.

Terrible service. Not able to provide me explanation why my shipment is on hold. Avoid this company at any cost! Very hard to deliver a shipment in Dublin for DHL...
Really poor service
I changed the date of delivery to my day off as the parcel had to be signed for and waited all day but the parcel had not left the depot. I changed the address to my work address but delivery failed again stating wrong address when I knew for sure it wasn't. Finally delivered on the 3rd attempt but even then the driver had to call me as they'd left the 1st line off the address. Totally useless!

Used DHL Express many times and I have to say. Always crazy fast, usually under 24 hours. Super reliable, tracking works, and you can manage everything through WhatsApp. A bit pricey but totally worth it for urgent stuff.Hope it stays that way!

Would give zero if I could! Why do big companies use DHL? They say they’ll deliver today, never give you a window & then send a bullsh*t we attempted delivery but you weren’t home, although you’ve been home all day. People need to contact the company you purchased from & report them as they aren’t getting the message through here.

Superb Service
My Son had his bag stolen on a bus in Costa Rica, on Tuesday 13 January. I got an emergency turnaround in Dublin (Full Passport). Collected from Mount Street at 14:30 on Thursday 15th and took it to DHL Trinity A.
Told me that it would be delivered to him on Tuesday the 20th of January.
It arrived today as promised and he can travel home on Friday as scheduled.

Apple Order
Apple Order - DHL delivery meant to be delivered 9th January then Monday 12th January. It's now Friday 16th and been in Dublin all week in a hub or something. (laughable). Can't get anyone at DHL. I was onto Apple there so hopefully something is resolved soon. Don't know why Apple would use this company.
Genuinely joke of a company
Genuinely joke of a company. Have my package for almost 2 weeks. Customer service is a complete joke. Edit : Finally arrived in my country but still holding package for so long.. Never using DHL again, they were great years ago.
Terrible at communication
When I first received the notification my package was on the way, I specifically requested it to be left in my mailbox without a signature. This was completely ignored, and the package was not delivered. Then I was told it was sitting at the depot for pick-up (which I couldn't get to). I called customer service and requested a redelivery. I was told DHL would contact me with the new delivery date. I waited all week and heard nothing. I contacted customer service again. Nobody knew where my package was, and an investigation was opened. Today I received an e-mail from customer service to let me know that my package is now on the way back to Portugal (and back to the sender). Does that make any sense????
There doesn't seem to be much communication internally or externally with this company. They used to be good, but I don't know what has happened to them. I think they're horrible now.
