Was gifted vouchers for my 40th birthday and booked an event which took place on 30th Jan. Unfortunately three weeks prior I had a bereavement and my time and energy was taken up by that. I gave plenty of notice and asked to swap my voucher use to a future event. I stated that it was due to unforeseen circumstances (which was truthful).

Sadly, I got a curt generic response from someone at PE saying “sorry to hear you’re ill but it states on the small print that you can’t change the date of a booking”.

Firstly, I wasn’t ill so I’m not sure why that was assumed. Secondly, I gave enough notice for them to fill 2 slots for that evening elsewhere. Finally, the vouchers were already paid for so what does matter WHICH event I attend?

I am very disappointed by the lack of compassion and assistance tbh and won’t be using them again. Birthday gift wasted. Thanks for your understanding!

Paranormal Eye UK are a fantastic Ghost Hunting team. They are genuine, no gimmicks are used, which is why we always book with them. We have had the most amazing nights with lots of activity to some quiet nights. Whichever we get the team makes the evening really enjoyable. You also get to explore some fantastic/eerie buildings out of hours. I 100% recommend Nicky & her team. Paranormal Eye UK are the best.

Paranormal eye are an absolutely fantastic company to go on ghost hunts with! The team are all very helpful and friendly and make sure everyone gets the best out of the experience. The locations are always great and well kept and the team provide some great equipment that is set out and make sure everyone is involved and gets to take part in the activities put on throughout the night. Having done a few ghost hunts with them now, I’ve always been so at ease on every investigation and get more and more excited for the next one to come

I’ve used paranormal eye for a couple years now and one thing I can say is it’s very well run and very organised. the team is great super friendly and will help you feel comfortable and always try and get you involved but won’t force you to do something you don’t want to do the the selection of events to choose from is also great to, if you want a local one or happily travel there’s something for everyone and they go extra mile by offering drinks and snacks on a break time I would highly recommend paranormal eye to anyone looking to get involved or just to see what it’s about

I've always been intrigued by the Paranormal and these guys have got me hooked... I no longer hunt the Paranormal with any other group than Paranormal eye uk, with many experiences and ghostly goings on...

I always have a fantastic time with the Paranormal Eye team. From start to finish, they are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Always encouraging everyone to be a part of the investigations. The team are all absolutely lovely.
The locations are great…..spooky and atmospheric. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable night to come along and join in.

Love paranormal eye events. They are well organised by the team, happy to answer questions during sessions on the night including background information about the venue and the equipment being used. These guys know their stuff. I was a first timer until recently and am now looking to book my 4th event. It's not like what you see on TV or YouTube but the spirits are there to communicate with you.

We went ghost hunting with Paranormaleye to Borwick hall, near carnforth, our first impressions weren't great as the hall car park was nowhere near big enough for the team and guest cars and we had to overflow to another car park around the corner. Paranormal had deployed team members to help but it didn't stop us and other guests getting lost - both finding the car park and then finding the entrance to the hall. Once inside we were given a warm welcome and a brew. We were introduced to the team, whoever was doing the welcome was like a blue peter presenter on speed :-) very energetic and loud, but her energy held up through the night and probably helped alot in the final seance. I have read a 1* review of this event same event and feel it was unduly harsh to say the least. We were divided up into similar sized groups, again a bit of a lottery but any ghost hunt works like this, we were teamed with quite a large group that knew each other but they were keen and welcoming. All the groups were headed of to different parts of the house to start the hunt. The staff members all had two way radios, and had all reconnoitered the building knowing their way around. Each room had different "experiments" going on, and were getting varying results. Changing rooms was a bit of a technical exercise as the guests have no idea where they are or where they are going, and the corridors and stairs made it awkward to pass other groups on the move -the joys of old buildings. The library had a rotorary ouija board which was unuasual but getting a lot of activity and responses, so much so we didn't have time to try the scrying or the other experiments in that room, there were multiple footsteps heard outside the room, and on the floor above, one guest went to check the floor above and was followed by mystery footsteps even though he saw/heard nothing. Nearly every room seemed to have some activity and action for us. The grand finale was a mass seance in the main hall, unfortunately there wasn't enough seats for all the guests, and the last two groups where put in the adjacent wood panelled room where we tried a "mini seance" unfortunately the main hall was getting all the action, we were getting nothing, so we snook back into the main hall to add our energy to the allready lively seance. Tables were moving themselves, lights were responding to questions, and guests were getting cold shivers after asking questions, altogether probably our best ghost hunt to date. Paranormal eye aren't the cheapest hunts in the market place, but they do bring a big team, and plenty of nice snacks, cakes, biscuits, battenburg. We have just booked our next event with them and are looking forward to it.

We recently attended an overnight ghost hunt at Belvoir Castle Estate. From the moment we booked the event, the pre arrival information was useful and Nicky was nothing but helpful and responsive to any questions we had. 

When we arrived at the stunning property, we were welcomed with tea, coffee and snacks. The whole Paranormal Eye team made us feel welcome. A short tour helped set the scene for everyone, a couple of facts were offered about the Estate, however the team said they didn't want to offer too much information so as not to influence the evening. We were split into three groups of around 10 people, with 1 or 2 group leaders per group. For any newbies, a super brief explanation of any kit was offered, before moving straight into the investigation.

We have our own paranormal events company but were attending this one as 'normal' guests. Nicky and the team made us feel at home but also offered us the chance to investigate areas on our own too. We could be as involved with the wider group as we wanted to be, and the group leaders seemed to value any input we had to offer. The leaders are skilled at involving the quieter members of the groups, and ensure that everyone has a good night.

The sessions were all well managed and worked on a rotation so everyone got to work in each designated area and with a variety of leaders / kit. The leaders were respectful of the building, and beliefs and opinions of the guests too. 

The debrief at the end of the evening helped cement findings from each of the groups and areas from across the evening. 

We were lucky enough to two consecutive nights  and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We've done quite a large number of hunts with Paranormal Eye and we've just booked some more too.

My friend and I recently participated in a weekend event at this location, marking our inaugural investigation at the site. The experience was exceptional, and the staff extended a warm welcome, readily accommodating our needs. We were divided into three investigative teams, each led by a knowledgeable team member who provided clear explanations when necessary. A mid-session break with refreshments was provided. Furthermore, I appreciated the group debriefing session, which allowed us to consolidate findings from all teams and assess the collective insights.

I attended Belvoir castle with Paranormal Eye UK and had a great time. I feel it has more to offer and we barely scratched the surface. I've done a number of locations with this team and always found them to be pleasant, friendly, helpful and welcoming. They cater for both new comers to parnormal investigations and experienced folk. I fall in the latter catergory and I feel completely empowered to use my own kit if I wish, but they provide plenty. They lead the vigils with ideas of how to proceed and what techniques to use, which is good, because investigations are time limited and there's none to waste. They always provide refreshments and snacks for the break time. The team can be contacted prior an investigation if anyone has questions before attending, whatever the subject, accessibility, parking, etc. I will certainly be going to other locations with them.

I have been on many public paranormal events with Paranormal Eye UK; they do secure some amazing locations. There is just the right amount of public on each event without it feeling over populated. The group's are normally split down into 3 groups, obviously that is dependent on the size of the location (If its a small location then less people are invited to attend)

The events cater from being a first timer to an experienced Investigator; you can always approach the staff and ask if you can be in a more experienced group. I personally speaking prefer been in a less experienced group because their excitement and energy seems to get me better results than the more experienced

The back bone of the staff normally stay the same between locations depending on their availability; I will ssy they're all super friendly and approachable

Their team does have a wide range of equipment that you are able to use and they will always explain if you ask what the item does; end of the day its your night.. you only get out what you put into the night. Turning up to an event and standing with your back against the wall all night will get you very little

My friends and I were looking for a small group experience in a haunted building. Since one of my friends suffers from anxiety, the organiser accommodated all our needs and requirements. We spent the evening at the old schoolhouse, and at first, we weren’t sure what to expect. Everything was explained to us, and we were amazed by the amount of equipment that lit up throughout the night.

The event was well organised, and we were given various ways to call out for spirits. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening; time flew by! At certain points, the building was quiet, but that didn’t deter us. We were encouraged to keep asking questions to see if we would receive any responses. We did experience some unexplained bangs that startled us at times.

A big thank you to the organisers for a memorable night. We’ll definitely be back!

Wow what a venue eerie Gresley Old Hall is - fabulous location. The Paranormal team as usual were great, encouraging & friendly. They have loads of equipment to work with & differing investigation techniques, for us to participate in throughout the evening. Lovely to be with a group of like minded people, would highly recommend & keep coming back for more !!

I went to Borwick Hall for an event. I did not know the parking was far away, not at the hall. There were no signs to tell me, and I only found the parking because I saw a man from the event standing in the road with the logo on his top. He walked me to the Hall from my car, which wasn't easy because I have trouble walking, so this was very hard for me. He apologised and was understanding of my needs, but there was no blue badge parking available at the venue.
Borwick Hall is a very old, big house in Lancashire, I heard a lot about it growing up and going on school trips. I also learned online that it looks like a small castle and was built before the 16th century so I was interetsed to know more. It has a big tower at the middle, and the staircase in the tower has someone buried in it - that was interesting to learn about. There is lots of history inside. I heard different stories about the apples at the hall from different team members, but I couldn't a clear answer, so I don’t know what to believe. There was talk about witches putting curses on the hall, and something about star signs, but there was too much going on for me to take that in, a lady from the staff team kept speaking over people and running around so it was hard to hear anything or keep up.
Inside Borwick, there are a lot of stairs and narrow hallways. It was tricky to get around, and I got a bit lost sometimes with moving from space to space. Some rooms are very hot, and some are very cold—I don’t know why. There were lots of different groups crossing in the halls when we was swap over, and I lost track of who was in my group. Name badge stickers or group numbers would help so people know who they are with.
Some parts of the event were fun, and the lighting up equipment was intersting. Some of the team were very nice and explained the ghost hunting things well and what makes them work. They made us tea and coffee in the break and asked if we were okay. I needed more than 1 break really as I was tired, but it was enough for other people. Mostly the staff are nice and friendly explaining stuff well so it makes sense but one lady in the team called Becky (i think) was too loud and made me feel talked down to. She always said it was a ghost every time the equipment beeped or made a noise which I found distracting. It was hard to listen to things going on around me with her talking so much. She was very distracting and loud.
The ouija board they used was odd. It was on a spring and people walked in a circle around it and it bent in different directions. It did not make sense, and nobody explained why we did it like that. I prefer a normal board and with people I know arent moving the pointer themself. At the end, during the big seance, it was very noisy with tables moving around everywhere. One group was sent away to another room and then came back, and we were never told why. Becky walked around talking about symbols in the shop and something about star signs, but it all sounded made up and I couldn’t follow her. It felt more like a show than a real ghost hunt from her. Me and my group love seances, but this one was too busy and felt fake for us becuase there was too much going on. It was overwhelming. The lady running the seance looked like sghe was struggling too. I dont know what to believe, but it was hard being in the room. I felt overwhelmed.
The snacks they gave out were dry pastries. People grabbed them from the bottom of the box which did not feel clean. I would rather have snacks in packets or picked up with tongs.
I do not think I will go to a Paranormal Eye event again unless things change. There should be better signs about parking on the booking, better hygiene on food, and better thought about some of the team suitability. I liked some of the staff though because they were friendly and helpful especially if I was overwhelmed or nervous. Borwick Hall was cool to see at night, but the event style needs to get better to help people like me.

Staff are more interested in gossiping and giving evil looks than actually helping, complete waste of a trip

My best mate and myself spent the weekend at 2 location with the team (first time with company) at wisbech castle and revesby Abbey. We have done many investigation with different teams and we agree that we will be booking again with paranormal eye. The team was inviting, supportive, excellent knowledge of equipment but most of all the high energy between the team and also the customers continued throughout the events.
We had experiences which was dealt in a professional manor even trying to debunk finding logical explanations which we was unable to with many situations . I highly recommend paranormal eye uk

Ghost Hunt at Wisbech Castle on 9/5/25

Absoloutly brilliant. Have done three before with a different company. These guys were way better, they have a lot of staff, enough for them to chat to everyone, they are really hyped to be there and help everyone with the initial embarrassment of talking to spirits. They have SO MUCH EQUIPMENT. These guys are perfect if you've never been on one before but also if you are a full believer and really want to get into it and find out more than 'make a sound if you are there' on repeat. My father came with me and he's never been on one before and he was amazed at all of the things that happened while we were there. Thank you for a lovely evening guys!

We had a fantastic time at Gresley Old Hall on Friday, Nicki and her team was great and we will definitely be returning to do many more hunts with them. We really enjoyed starting the night in a bigger group and then being split down into smaller groups we all got involved, we had some great activity throughout the night it was a brilliant location to look and hunt around. I highly recommend going on paranormal eye ghost hunts, they are a very friendly team and they make sure you’re very well looked after.
