Due to misunderstanding, my daughters bought me £300 vouchers for Paramo, (not exchangeable elsewhere) so bought a Velez jacket to replace a 20yr old Goretex. The Paramo is awful - 3 hours walk in wind and rain and soaked to the skin - as was my colleague also wearing that model of jacket. The more it rains the more it soaks up water and gets heavier. It is NOT WATERPROOF despite the label on the jacket. If you want waterproof clothing, buy Gortex. Worst thing I've ever bought in 45yrs of climbing and hill-walking.

Full range of sizes and styles in store combined with helpful and knowledgeable staff meant I left with just what I wanted/needed. Excellent.

My Paramo Cascade jacket has leaked from the outset, anything in the pockets gets drenched and water comes through sleeves and back even in a 15 minute downpour. I have complained to the company and had it returned for re treatment once and it made no difference. It's not suitable for rainy days in London let alone for more outdoorsy endeavours.

Friendly and well-informed staff in the Fort William shop. Took time to show me the available products and discuss their suitability. Clothing is high quality with a great reputation for being waterproof, breathable and durable.

John Ryan and Luke were great today, i want planning to buy anything when I walked in to have a look around and walked out after buying a smock that i fell in love with. They were knowldegable and really helpful

Bought a Caminata jacket which had a couple of issues. I contacted Paramo and was asked to return it for investigation. After examining the jacket, the issues were explained to me (both one-offs, I was just unlucky I think) and then it was exchanged for a replacement and posted straight back out to me. Hannah in customer experience was fantastic, she kept me in the loop and regularly updated me as to what was happening as the jacket was being tested. This is a company with great customer service!

Excellent customer service - Kristina was very helpful and knowledgeable. This is the first time I have bought a Paramo product, it will not be my last!

The staff member (Gemma possibly?) was very polite and very helpful. I was unsure on which jacket to get and what the options were. This was all explained and helped me make my decision.

Went into the Keswick store to browse waterproofs for an upcoming trip. The staff were excellent. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I buy a lot of things online for convenience but this visit was a reminder to me that shopping in person is better way to get the correct product. I had lots of questions l wanted to ask and eventually the browsing amounted to 2 Valez smocks. Highly recommend, a great
experience.

As well as loving Paramo jackets for our hiking trips for the last 20 years, we recently had reason to contact the company about one of their products.
The customer service was exceptional. Our issue was dealt with quickly and efficiently and we were kept informed at all stages of the process, plus there was no cost to ourselves.
This has just reinforced our view that Paramo is an exceptional company.

I was very sceptical when a friend suggested I give up a 30 year association with gore Tex and switch to Páramo, but as it turns out, I will be eternally grateful!
The clothing is a whole new experience, with a lovely soft feel, quiet when moving and really nicely styled. I’ve bought jackets for both days in the mountains and one for everyday use and find them all just so comfortable to wear.
But as we all know, not all companies are the same when something goes wrong and for me Paramo are more than a cut above the rest, when it comes to customer support. My jacket needed a repair and everything from the initial contact to the jacket being returned, was a lovely smooth process with friendly, personable emails and a quick turnaround.
Thank you to all at Paramo for looking after me and my jacket, you have a customer for life.

Both my wife and I wanted to buy new coats for the coming season I wanted something wind and waterproof but more lightweight than my Cascada coat which I use in winter. After discussions with the excellent staff who showed us how to zip our coats so that strain wasn't put on the zips never mind all the alternatives we could have bought at the Keswick shop I bought a Caminata jacket.
My wife after much discussion bought an Alta 3 jacket and a Torres medio gilet which also led to a discussion on the best way to wear the gilet over the coat not underneath which we never new.
The staff were so attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful including treats for our dog! We could not praise them enough. Especially after the member of staff chased us down the street as he had forgotten to get our email address for a voucher. There are not many shops that would do that!
As Paramo also recycle their range we had a couple of other jackets and trousers which we were bringing in and we received a discount on the coats that we were buying. We have had Paramo coats for years and although they are expensive to buy they go on forever so therefore work out better than other brands so long as you care for them.

Excellent service from Andy and Donna. Extremely knowledgeable, took time to explain the brand history and help me choose the right waterproof.

I love Paramo clothing they do such high quality outdoor products. I have several items of clothing from them including the Velez waterproof coat and more recently the Bentu fleece. I absolutely love this fleece! It is so soft and cosy. I love the purple colour and it is super practical for outdoor adventures with it's 3 pockets and it being wind and water resistant! I highly recommend!
