I booked a pallet shipment with collection scheduled for the next day. One week later, still nothing. No collection has been made.
I was then told that an email had been sent requesting photos of the pallet… to the sender, who is not even the person who placed the order. More importantly, this requirement was never mentioned at the time of booking. I spent a significant amount of time completing the form, and this kind of condition should be clearly stated before payment.
The most absurd part? Their driver could simply take the photos himself at the time of collection.
As a result, my pallet is stuck, and I am being charged £20 per day in storage fees due to their inability to handle the situation.
On top of that, my emails go unanswered for several days, which only makes the situation worse and shows a clear lack of customer support.
I should have been informed from the start—either to provide the photos before booking or to know that the collection would not take place at all.
Lack of transparency, poor organization, and ineffective customer service. Avoid at all costs.

We do need to address a few points directly, as the review does not reflect the full picture.
At the time of booking, the option selected within the form was "Not applicable, I'm sending parcels" — this is clearly visible in the booking record and directly impacts how the shipment is processed through our carrier network.
The photo request is a standard pre-collection check designed to protect customers — it confirms the shipment is correctly prepared before dispatch, preventing failed collections or depot refusals down the line.
Regarding communication: every email has been responded to. Your most recent email arrived on a bank holiday; a reply was sent the next working day. That is standard business operating hours, not a lack of response.
The delay is a direct result of the mismatch between the service booked and the shipment declared. We remain ready to proceed as soon as this is resolved.

Very easy to use pallet shipping service. They are very good at contacting you and responding to messages, which can often be a problem with some of the other pallet firms. Gabriela was especially helpful. I will certainly use them again.

My experience of this company was…
My experience of this company was hugely improved by their willing and frequent communication and the monitoring of the whole process of delivery over several days. Their customer service was quite superb. I especially want to mention Dan E , no idea of his full name but he not only booked the collection of the trike from my home giving me very clear instructions how to package it and prepare it , but then tracked the delivery to York and helped find the huge parcel after it was moved from the depot by the trike company. I can’t praise him enough for his helpfulness and would recommend him for his attention to detail. An excellent company also recommended by Jorvik trikes of York. Many thanks Mrs Linda Hollins.

I had a very good experience using Pallet2Ship to send a pallet with an AEG kitchen hob from Latvia to Denmark. The whole process was smooth, professional, and much easier than I expected. Booking was simple, communication was clear, and everything was handled reliably from start to finish.

Delivered quickly but there was a complete lack of communication as to 2hen to expect the delivery. All communication seems to have been with the sender not the recipient. We got no notice of delivery and it was a heavy item that we had to ,it inside by ourselves.

108 Pound Charge for no reason
I booked a pallet for domestic shipping and the experience has been extremely disappointing.
On the original collection date, no driver showed up and I received no communication explaining the missed collection. Because of this, I had to take the time to rebook the service myself.
On the second agreed date, a driver did arrive in a full sized HGV and attended the property without any apparent issue.
However, around 30 days later, I was charged £108 for a “wasted journey.” The reason given was that an HGV could not access the property, which is completely inconsistent with what actually happened. Your company itself sent an HGV on the rebooked date, and it arrived successfully.
To be clear:
The first missed collection was entirely on your side.
The second collection was attended using an HGV without access issues.
The later charge is based on a claim that contradicts your own actions.
This charge unjustified and unacceptable. I expect this to be investigated properly but got no real response and the £108 charge remained.

The collection on the 2nd of February was booked and dispatched as planned; however, it was unsuccessful as the driver was unable to gain access to the collection address on the day.
Access is assessed by the driver at the time of collection, and conditions can vary from day to day. It is therefore at the driver’s discretion to determine whether it is safe and possible to proceed.
As per your request, we changed the collection date, and a smaller HGV successfully collected your goods.
As a result, the failed collection charge has been correctly applied in line with the carrier’s terms.
