I needed to add a check in bag to a Jetstar flight the next morning. I’m not very computer competent. But with Christine’s very patient and expert assistance I managed to get that done. Her help resulted in me saving quite a lot of money.

Difficulties handled professionally
I had difficulty with finding out after my booking that my Aussie passport would
Not be accepted for entry to UK. My UK passport expired 13 years prior. I was stressed and they helped me easily rebook my flight with many changes. They were never irritated by my requests and were very polite. They made an incredibly stressful and upsetting situation bearable.

The worst Experience ever
The worst Experience ever. Booked my flight 4 months ago and I was asked to paid a bit extra so I can make the changes. When I tried to make changes they took 3 weeks to address the issue and have to pay $1100 extra again. I made a blunder trusting them. Don’t rely on them as every person working here keeps changing their words.

They ruined our trip completely
They ruined our trip completely, we specifically requested window seat and one next to that. Amy from the team confirmed the same. But when we started our trip , Found out ground staff seprated our seats just because our agent did not pay for our seats etc. We were so excited for our holidays but the start of it got ruined just because of orient. Team is always available for reservation but after booking hard to get anynone to talk for after sales service .its always a long hold an noone calls you back. Worst experience. I don't recommend this third party at all.
To the reply from Orient - that is completely incorrect, Airline specially told us that because your agent has not paid for the seats or did not confirm it that's why they separated us, as flight was full, on the other hand, everyone else was sitting with their family. So ORIENT- If you can't do the job properly, don't make false promises. Your team member clearly confirmed about the seats a nd did not mention any doubts about it. And we didn't even contacted you guys in first place, we were booking online and got call from you and you guys pushed us to book from you as you promised better deal. And i can see so many fake reveiws after my review just to amend it to good rating but people use your mind, i would say.thanks

Regarding the modifications to your flight, please be advised that seat changes are solely the airline's decision and are completely beyond our control. Airlines manage their own inventory and seat assignments dynamically, and we unfortunately cannot override their operational choices.

I would strongly advise others to think carefully before booking with Orient Vacations.
Our family experienced a very stressful situation after booking international travel through this agency. The itinerary we received did not clearly reflect the transit requirements that ultimately affected our ability to travel. As a result, our parents were denied boarding at the airport, our travel plans were disrupted, and we were left scrambling to make alternative arrangements.
We spent hours at the airport making calls, incurred additional costs, had to purchase replacement tickets at short notice, and experienced significant stress trying to resolve the issue while travelling with a young baby.
When we requested a refund, we received an email stating that our refund request had been processed. However, after that, communication became extremely limited and our follow-up emails went unanswered. Weeks passed without any meaningful update.
Ultimately, we had to open a dispute with our bank and provide extensive documentation and evidence. After reviewing the case, the bank refunded the full amount through the chargeback process.
What disappointed us most was not just the original issue, but the lack of timely communication and support afterwards. When customers are facing urgent travel disruptions, they need clear information, prompt responses, and practical assistance.
Based on our experience, I would not book with this agency again.
