Varied & great quality
Varied, high quality organic veg! I think the cost is great value as well, with free delivery (in London) over a certain amount. They take into account preferences very well too. The customer support team are always very responsive and address any questions/issues very quickly to provide a solution. The orders are easy to manage via the website so if you need to skip or change things around it’s very possible. Highly recommend!

this is an awesome fruit and veg basket…
this is an awesome fruit and veg basket which suits myself and my partner perfectly.
If I had one criticism, the delivery people leave the box outside without knocking - in my neighbourhood, it's likely that parcels left outside the door in plain view will be snatched, so I'd really appreciate a knock to let me know when the parcel has been delivered.

Bad customer service and lack of care on delivering goods correctly
I have just received my first ruined order from this company which was left out in the rain even though instructions were clearly given to leave the box in the front porch. On contacting the complaints department I received the following response:
Good Afternoon
Thak you for your email and for letting us know.
We did give these instruction to DPD, they usually do follow them but unfortunately we can only put them on the order and have no control over them following the instructions. But they are usually pretty good at it.

As one of our customer care team mentioned in their response to you, all of our customers delivery instructions are uploaded onto their individual DPD profiles and we have checked this and can see that yours are on there correctly.
We do rely on DPD to deliver to our non-London customers and we expect them to handle all of our boxes with the same level of love and care that we do. It seems on this occasion unfortunately they did not. We are very sorry that this was your experience and we have raised this with DPD, as we do with all of our customers that have any issues with their deliveries from them.
As you know, we tape all of our boxes with fragile tape but all of our DPD parcels do go through quite a bit of travelling before your box reaches you and sometimes boxes can arrive not well cared for sadly.
In your email to us you explained that your box was left in the rain and that the cardboard had become wet because of this and if we could pass this onto DPD. Please be assured that we will will always raise any concerns with DPD and we will always refund or replace any damaged items in your order.
We hope that this response is a bit more helpful for you and that you can give us another chance to deliver to you ☺️

Great company
I love the Organic Delivery Company. The fruit and veg always tastes great and keeps well. Out of the five orders I've made, generally totaling 30 items per order, I've only had one slightly rotten celeriac, but even then it was salvageable.
The customer service is also top tier. The couple of queries I've had have been dealt with promptly and efficiently.
I also like that they appear to use recycled cardboard boxes.

Very efficient company
Very efficient company, produce is excellent. I did have some damaged goods ( not the fault of the company, it was the carriers fault) It was refunded promptly. I order every week on a Wednesday and it's here first thing on a Friday.

Nice produce, awful service.
I would like to give them a good review as the quality of their produce is good. However they have repeatedly ignored my requests to leave the boxes out of sight, and to pick up the previous weeks' boxes. And they never answer the phone.

I can see upon checking this for you this morning that we did respond to your email previously regarding this situation and hopefully you have not experienced this problem since.
As we explained, we did go through some staffing changes and we had a period where we had some temporary agency drivers working with us. Unfortunately, when we do need to rely on agency drivers, our processes are not always followed and delivery instructions can be frustratingly missed.
We are still in the process of hiring new drivers to join us on a permanent basis, which always helps to reduce errors like these having consistent and regular drivers with us. But in the mean time, we have updated our drivers information sheets to bring focus to our customers delivery instructions. Hopefully this has helped and you don't experience this again with your deliveries.
Should you however have any problems with your deliveries going forward, please do reach out to us. We will always try our best to help in any way that we can. We appreciate how frustrating it can be for you and we appreciate the opportunity to make it right.

I have looked into this today and can't see that you are a customer on our system, but I do apologise if this is incorrect. I understand that you received one of our customers orders that has a very similar address to yours that is on the road adjacent to you. I can see that we did respond to your email previously regarding this situation and our driver returned to collect the box and deliver it to the correct address. Hopefully you have not experienced this problem since.

Poor quality
Have placed around four orders with them since Dec last year. There has been a quality problem with every single order. I was refunded for the poor quality items on the first two orders after I sent photos. Never received a response to my complaint regarding third order. Persevered on, placed order number 4. What a mistake! All pomegranates were bad, full bag of coriander £13.95 really poor condition. I have learnt my lesson now, no more orders from m!

Upon checking this for you, I can see that although we have responded to your previous emails regarding these issues with your orders, it does appear that we missed your last email. We are very sorry about that. I have responded to this personally today for you and processed the refund for the items you were unhappy with.
I can see that you are one of our customers outside of London, so your orders will have been delivered by our courier DPD. We do rely on DPD to deliver to our non-London customers and we expect them to handle all of our boxes with the same level of love and care that we do. It seems unfortunately they did not with some of your orders resulting in some of your items arriving in a not so happy condition. We are very sorry that this was your experience and we have raised this with DPD.
I have also raised this with our packing team to ensure that only the best quality items are being packed for our customers as we really do want you to be 100% happy with our products and service.
We have made some changes to our packing process and the way we package our customers boxes since your last order and hopefully this has helped.
Hopefully you can give us another chance to make this right but we totally understand if not and again, we're very sorry that this was your experience.

I was sent the wrong box
I was sent the wrong box (I received a small fruit and veg box instead of a large veg box). I emailed customer support and have not had a response in over 24 hours so I have had no option but to take my business elsewhere. It’s a sign of a good business when they go above and beyond to solve a customer problem promptly. But this hasn’t happened. Disappointed.

Not sure il order again.. ordered a few times and its been pretty good but this time I'm not Impressed. On arrival the tomatoes and grapes were all smashed due to the way they had been packed.. because of this a lot of my other produce were all soaking. The cauliflower came brown the watercress was already yellow and the kale staring to go that way too. This food came on the Tuesday by the Friday came had to throw a broccoli away due to it bring limp and a good few carrots too. Put in a 60 quid order and already more than half needs thrown out. What a shame

I received a 20% discount offer from…
I received a 20% discount offer from this company. As my usual organic shop was closed for Xmas I thought I’d try them. Unfortunately when processing my order I didn’t get the 20% reduction and when I emailed them to complain, they ignored me. So my shop cost £27 more, hardly insignificant.
The root vegetables are good but the fruit is awful. Clementines that were clearly off and needed to be binned. Tomatoes with a day shelf life at best, grapes that where inedible and looked like been picked out if a bin. I could go on but suffice to say I won’t be going back to these to be conned and given poor quality food. But the mooli, now that was good stuff and shame I’ll miss out on that in future.

Website issues
Fruit and veg ok. Not enough variety for other organic veggie choices like Able and Cole have. The problem for me is their website system. It keeps not accepting my email. It has been four times that I had to call for them to sort the problem. They changed the password three times. Annoying because you cannot go into your account to place the order.

Been with them for nearly 20 years. Lovely veg and fruit plus grocery and household if required. Food is delicious, drivers are friendly. Odd misdeliveries should not put you off as they have high standards and ethical ethos. Highly recommended.

Great experience so far
Great experience so far with this company - after I emailed to ask to be put on the waiting list, a member of staff emailed me back personally to create an account for me which I really appreciated during lockdown. There is a great range of products, it's nice how you can add other items onto your veg box and also say which vegetables you don't like. Our delivery driver is really lovely and friendly and always smiles and tells us to enjoy our day, which I appreciate. Also great that there is minimal plastic used, and the boxes are collected to be recycled. So far, really enjoying it, thank you

Delivery issue, but handled very well
There was an issue with the packing, that caused damage to the produce. However they acknowledged the issue, reminded the packers, plus made a very fair discount to cover the damage.
Every one of us will make mistakes, but doing the right thing when it happens , and getting it right next time, is the sign of a company that is worth doing business with.
