NHS patients - beware
I have been referred to them by the 111 service as a NHS patient as I have had pains and couldn't eat becase of the very old partial denture. Been seen by vino jesudasan. She told me I can't have the denture replaced until the teeth around are fixed. Referred me to 'buddy opg practice' in camberley for a thorough xray (because apparently they don't do xrays that i needed!). Both the receptionist and the dentist told me to arrange to see this other practice and when I phoned up the 'buddy opg practice' - they told me their xray machine is broke in a very rude manner so there's nothing they can do. I suffer from extreme anxiety and all this is absolutely stressing me out. So I tried calling the orchard cottage dental practice but couldn't get through to them on that day (no answer). I left it a couple of days as I am struggling with stress, panic attacks and extreme anxiety not to mention being in pain for various conditions. I rang back the surgery only to be told by the receptionist that she will speak to the dentist to see what I should do next. (phoned up on the friday and been promised a call back on monday). I've received no call backs. A week later I have tried calling back and some male answered and told me that I should call the buddy opg practice back as the xray machine is probably fixed by now. So I have then tried calling them back again, and again and again, I've left several voice messages (as they weren't answering) to say I need an xray. Nobody called me back.
I was getting extremely anxious and am in pain all this time on painkillers, unable to eat. I called back the orchard cottage dental again today, the same male answered and told me that the 'buddy opg practice' (that I was referred to for an xray) is a walk in practice and I should just go there without an appointment. To which I have lost it and told them I will reviews everywhere. He tried calling me back but I rejected the call.
I have done my research and they have positive reviews from people that pay.
If you are NHS patient - they really don't care and don't want to know and fob you off hoping you'll go away, as they don't want to do the work. I suggest you make note so that you don't have to go through the stress that this caused me (and I am on a lot of meds)
