Thank you Optivo for organising the Creed Outdoor Learning event. My boys are not always forward with joining in activities but they did participate. Health and safety and instructions were good. Everyone got a turn and looked happy. Well run event. Thank you all.

The people who on phone work optivo are lovely can't fault them.

But would a 5 star if I didn't go thought issues I had. Mangerment not great and there rules not great. There still areas where need to improve

Optivo ‘tenancy support for vulnerable tenants’
Can’t express how inadequate this is. A long story cut short - if you’re ‘vulnerable’ and need some tenancy support help - not financial just ‘signposting’ to opportunities to help yourself - don’t expect to get it from Optivo - best you can hope for is a threat of a ‘court injunction’
A policy to identify ways to offer tenancy support is really needed here.

I haven’t used my real name in case it causes me more problems but happy to provide it to genuine responders.

Post script - replying to Optivo - the issue is still ongoing and I don’t want to risk making it worse. Maybe when it’s ‘done and dusted’

Called Optivio fast answer qnd dealt with 3 issues quickly and efficently have no probs with the outcomes they dealt with

Called To raise a faulty fire alarm. Issue sorted. Customer service operator was extremely helpful, friendly and funny. Great to talk to someone who didn’t take their job to seriously and was actually interested in the issue raised. Very quick to help:

My most recent experience with optivo today 25th July 2022 was and seems to be so far one of only a few encounters & interactions I can honestly say was a positive one. Inspite of still not having any real update on a ongoing issue/ repair which Is continuing to take it's toll not only on my own wellbeing both mentally & physically (further complicated by both mine and my mum's disabilities)
All that said though, the telephone conversation I had with a customer support representative called kirsten was a pleasant one, she was very professional, polite, very attentive. She not only listened to what I was telling her, repeated for me information that I unfortunately could not quite hear.
Too early to really say much else, other than having more team members like this, would really help make some difficult situations even a little bit easier.

I am a peer support volunteer for Swale Your Way Together for Mental Health. I attended this course which was very enjoyable. The facilitator Fiona Marriner from Kent Adult Education. Fiona made the course very interesting with opportunity for feedback and group work. I Although a professional BACP registered counsellor I learned some things and took away some useful information to help me in my work, both professionally and as a volunteer. Thank you so much!

I agree with all the bad comments about Optivo when it comes to handling ASB, they are absolutely useless. My 86 year old mother has had to put up with a variety of antisocial neighbours, who are optivo tenants, with damage to her property and verbal abuse from them to the extent that it has affected her health. Complaining to Optivo results in no effective action being taken against their tenants to stop the ASB and the impression you get is that they just don't care. Recent events have only comfirmed this when a complaint was made to Optivo about their tenants' actions which have increased the risk of my mother having a serious injury. Optivo's response was that it was not ASB and any injury to my mother was not their responsibility, not what you expect from a caring company or the guff on their website about how they deal with ASB.

As a follow up to this review we have been in further contact with Optivo several times about the ASB my mother is suffering, including sending them photographic evidence of the neighbours behaviour and damage, and as usual Optivo do nothing apart from sending letters to the abusers and the abuse just continues, Optivo doing nothing effective. We are now considering our next steps which will include contacting the ombudsman.

Another extremly annoying aspect is Optivo's lack of any feedback or information on what they are doing to resolve the ASB. They are like a black hole, information goes in and nothing comes out and certainly no action seems to be taken to stop the ASB.

PROBLEMS WITH SELLNG OF SHARED OWNERSHIP
Guys! watch out for Optivo as when you come to sell your lease in shared ownership property you will not be able to essentially locking you in the scheme for life. Please, please please stay away from shared ownership with Optivo especially for "black people" as they will lure you in with affordable housing but then very difficult to come out of the shared ownership scheme unless you do gradual staircasing of lease to 100% over a period which can be very expensive. Basically you are better off buying property as fully-owned on the open market, even a 1 bed flat than to get involved with shared ownership schemes period.

Spoke to a very good guy called Bob today about having alterations done to our property following my wifes stroke. Bob was very understanding, professional and installed faith in optivo.

Absolutely first class optivo representative very helpful and good fun to talk too,arranged my repair with no trouble

Very helpful and polite and delt with my issue immediately.

Excellent housing association
They always help are friendly polite and very helpful.
They basically leave you alone and let you make a home

If you make a complaint about a neighbour ect they are straight on it and get it looked into

Terrible customer service. You ask for call back. No one calls back. Ask to speck to a manager , no managet is ever available. DO THESE PEOPLE EVEN WORK!!!

Waste of time complaining is pointless they don’t care . I have been having problems with ASb. No one cares you just have to suffer in silence and let neighbours do what they want not a good housing association don’t know where are all the good reviews are coming from
