The worst business I dealt with ever in my life.
28.10.2024 at 10: 37I ordered a part online for my audi as they were R150 cheaper than their nearest competitor on
29.10.2024 . 9:51 I resend them the proof of payment notification. At 15:36 I asked for an update with no response on their whatsapp number.
30.10.2024 at 11:05 I received a message that the part will be delivered and I reveived it at about 11:30. At 11:56 I send them a picture of the part i received and said that it was the wrong part. Control arm left and I wanted control arm right. I also asked Tracy how are we going to resolve the issue. No response for 4 days
4.11.2024 at 9:06 I send tracy a message again asking how we r going to resolve the issue. at !!:20 she responded telling me send me a photo of the invoice and the part I need. That I did immediately but explained that the part is still on the car and I could not take a clear picture. I also explained that it is a simple issue. They send me control arm left and I needed control arm right. I could not see that a sample would help.
5.11.2024 at 7.41 I asked tracy for an update. she could not remember me or what I was talking about. I had to explain everything again. At 15 :47 she send me a message that she said I must bring the part to their premises. I went through all my messages with her and nowhere did she say that, And I told her I never received a message from her to say I must bring the part to their premises.
6.11.2024 I took the part and invoice to their premises and gave it personally to Tracy.
9.11 2024 I enquired again about delivery as I have received nothing yet. At 19:45 Tracy responed that the courier do not work on weekends but I will receive it the monday.
11.11.2024 I spoke to Tracy again and sheassured me the part will be delivered the next day. I was totally fed up and asked to speak to a manager> I spoke to Thandi who said she was the manager and explained everything to her. She assured me that it will be rectified and I will receive my part the next day.
12.11.2024 I spoke to Tracy again who told me the part is lying on her desk and will be delivered today.
13.11.2024 at about 16:00 i called Tracy again who then blamed the dispatch Dept that did not collect the part by her. Spoke to manager again who said they will courier it to me the next day.At 16:32 Tracy also responded that I will receive it the next day
14.11.2024 at around 14:00 I received the part.
In total I waited 14 days for delivery . Used R156 rand in fonecalls to their offices as they let You keep on the line. made 17 calls to their offices just to get my car part.
I am sure some customers may have had a better experience then mine, but mine was a nightmare dealing with broken promises and *********** people. I will never use them again

I ordered a sump they gave me the incorrect one coz there are 3 tipes, they got me a second hand one with a deficit of R800 ,I have been trying to get my deficit back but to no avail wasting your time ,rather get it from someone else the is not respectable company read all reviews

I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received during my visit to Online parts in Randburg . As a first-time buyer, I was looking forward to exploring the options for my customers, as I also own a spares shop. Unfortunately, the reception experience was subpar.

The receptionist was engaged in a personal call and completely ignored us, leaving us standing there without assistance. When I tried to get her attention, she dismissively said, "I'll get someone to assist you" but didn't make any effort to expedite the process. It seemed like our presence was an inconvenience.

As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of providing excellent customer service. It's a pity that Online parts failed to meet my expectations. I hope they will take steps to improve their reception service and ensure that customers receive the attention they deserve.

Pity I cannot put zero stars .I recieved a sensor and after diagnostic revealed thier sensor being faulty they asked me to return it which I did .It's now been over a month since my item was returned to them and still have not received a refund .....I have been transferred from one person to the next and always gets promises of refunds but nothing happens .
Extremely poor service they don't even take my calls now

Dear Online Parts Team,

I'm writing to express my frustration with the refund process for a part I purchased in August. After returning the part, I was told by Francesca that I would receive my refund. However, I was then informed that the person handling my refund, Huba, had not completed the paperwork. When I called in September, I was shocked to learn that Huba had left the company in July and the current person, Pamela, had no knowledge of my case.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the lack of communication and the blame-shifting that occurred. I'm still waiting for my refund and would appreciate it if you could expedite the process.

Please let me know the next steps to resolve this issue.

I have ordered a sump from online car parts, The price was R2403.00 without delivery , I paid for the delivery and sent POP to them. The person did not recognize my POP and wanted to see money in their account first , which puts me again one day late because was on a Friday, and yes, the part was delivered, but it was not the correct one , We returned the part with a sample and I had to wait and suck for information from them, The correct sump was delivered, and in a phone conversation, I was told by Tracy that a refund of R800 is owed to me.
I was then in contact with Accounts Department Pamela, and she promised that within the next few days I would be refunded. This has been a month now.
People do not use this company; there integrity is not waterproof.

Worse company ever. Will send you broken item, will NOT REFUND, Will not take blame. Lied about checking cameras. Blamed courier for magically opening sealed bag, blamed me for not checking the sealed bag when accepting from courier. Laughed when I told them I want my refund.

Stay away, still waiting for my refund 3 months later. You can call everyday, they simply don't care.

Ordered parts from them and it took a month and numerous emails an what's app messages to get the parts. More than halve of the order was no there and I am still trying to get my refund. Worse service ever!

I have been waiting for more than 2 months for a refund. After a two week long ordeal with wrong parts supplied being lied to and being ignored. After the umpteenth time of enquiring about my refund for the last 2 months,I'm being ignored again. Save yourselves time and money a use another company they don't care one bit about customers or their company reputation.

Should have read the online reviews. The google reviews are even worse! They take your money and you NEVER receive the refund!

"Goods in Despatch Area – Awaiting Shipping Company Collection” since Monday.

Since 13/05/2024 without a car waiting for you guys to fix the issue. Ordered a starter from your website, you sent the wrong starter. Getting sent from one Whatsapp number to another to sort it out. Each representative worse than the previous. Reads messages enquiring about update, but don't even respond.

Was promised Sheldon could get parts from warehouse. I had to pay and part will arrive in one day. The wrong parts arrived and I was told they can't find the part I want and wil do refund. This was 22 April 2024, today I stil battle no refund. R1420.00

Bought a refurbished steering rack for Ford Ranger at R14 999.00 from Online Carparts Randburg on 26 Jan 24. Collect part myself from their site in Randburg. Once the part was installed it became clear that the part was defective. I returned the part by courier at own cost. They then sent me a replacement which I had to pay the courier cost. Same story. Also a defective part. I request a reimbursement. Was told once the part was returned they will reimburst me. Return the part again at own cost via courier. They then offered me another part but logic to say once
bitten twice shy. Today is 7 May 2024 and no refunds. A total of 106 phone calls and 17 E - mails and 5 Online Carparts individuals involved ( including e- mails with their legal department) and still no reimbursment. Only received 3 calls and 1 e-mail from them. A lot of false promises, undertakings to no avail. As soon as one representative lied himself in a corner the next one step in. Then the whole process starts from all over again. Who was the salesman? ( according to them he is not working there anymore). What is the part you ordered? What is the amount involved etc,etc,etc,etc. New promises that he/she will sort the problem. Today 07 May 24 they said they will pay me
R 5 000.00 during the week and the rest at a later stage. Logic that if I agree on this then they've got leverage on me by accepting there offer. Logic to say I will not see the balance of R 9 999.00.

How can a company who claim and promulgate themselfs on a website and message on call on hold to be professional. If this is not fraudrlant then I definetely am a fool. Their reviews on their websites speaks for itself. In the process to get at least 25 customers whom they owe reimbursments involved so that we can get legal advise and push possible criminal charges against Online Carparts. Enough is Enough. Their oddasity,arrogance and ignorance is unbelieveable.

Never in my life have I experienced such a dismal display of disorganization, lies and lack of communication from a company.
I've been back and forth on phone, email and whatsapp for the last 2 months with these people, trying to get a refund for the incorrect part they sent through in February.
Sihle, the manager, and I had a lovely conversation on the phone last week about how incompetent the staff and customer (lack of) service have been through this whole procedure. She assured me that I am not the only one.
While her phone call gave me hope that at least some kind of resolution was on the horizon, I did not receive the update (or refund) I was promised.
Not only has this company's conduct been in violation of the consumer protections act, but there has been absolutely zero acknowledgement or responsibility taken from company management or directors, trying to make things right.
At this stage, like I see in many of the reviews below, the energy and time on the phone I have spent trying to get a response has surpassed the original value of the part ordered.

I order parts last week Tuesday,and a lady told me i must send of payment then she will send my parts that i did is now almost a week later still nothing,now they told me they have not stock the parts i order was on the 2 April 2024

I ordered parts on order RXYJQLAEO last week Tuesday. What stood out for me was that it said that dispatch would be within 1 business day. On Friday, I phoned in to follow up and was told I would be called back after an internal follow-up. Needless to say, I was not called back. Now a week later, the parts that I urgently need is not here and Car Parts Online is ghosting me.

i placed and order for an electric water pump on the 25th.they phoned me 2days later said i must send proof if payment. i did so and since then did not recieve my order. when i phoned them you go threw the normal switchboard procedure till you come out by despatch. however you can hear kids in the background which suggest these people are not at the business workplace as they say. i was told that my order was leaving today and that i would recieve a tracjing number. the ladies name is tracy but since i send proof if payment and you call them they put you threw to different people but the background noise is still the same of kids playing.. so people beware these guys are scammers. they are using the online carparts website to scam people's hard earn money
