Octoparse is very user friendly and has ready-made templates to use which saves a lot of time. The customer service team is very responsive and helps fix any bugs the templates may have usually within 24 hours.

Octoparse also provides customization and support for any scraping projects you may have for additional fee.

Overall, i really like using Octoparse as it makes my scraping tasks easy and fast. You need to choose an appropriate template (cloud or desktop) to adjust the speed according to your needs.

I didnt have any issues with refunds or special discounts for long term subscriptions when i asked for it. Their customer service team is flexible and helpful.

Ho iniziato a usare Octoparse per un progetto che purtroppo non è partito come previsto. Nonostante abbia poi smesso di utilizzarlo, posso dire che è una piattaforma davvero potente e intuitiva per il web scraping, anche per chi non ha competenze di programmazione.
L'interfaccia è chiara, il sistema di automazione funziona molto bene, e ci sono tantissime risorse utili per imparare a usarlo al meglio.

In particolare, voglio sottolineare la grande disponibilità del team commerciale nel gestire la mia richiesta di disdetta: sono stati molto comprensivi, gentili e professionali.
È raro trovare un’assistenza clienti così attenta, soprattutto in un contesto di abbonamento già attivo.

Consiglio vivamente di provarlo: il prodotto è valido e il supporto è eccellente.

BEWARE! Dear Friends, Avoid this company at all cost. i wanted to extract data to see what products sell most. In the end, I didn't get any data, I was trying to cancel the free trial before it will expire. I got a surprise -the charge of the US $299 on my bank account. I contacted my bank to dispute this unauthorized charge with the bank and 10 days later I received the letter from Wells Fargo that charge was correct and authorized. Now, I am turning this incident to California General Attorney. I called to Octoparse but there no life agent but only prerecorded messenger in Chinese language. Octoparse charged me monthly fee after I cancelled the Free Trial.

SCAM, cancel your contract and they still take money off

So they let you use some of it for 'free', it has ran now for 3 days, collecting data, its finally done, and now they tell me I need to upgrade to export that data. 3 days its ran for...let that sink in.

I can't praise this tool enough. This tool has every capability a scrapper should have. It has a great UI and fastest scrapping speed among all the scrappers I tested.

They are gods. Everything perfect!

I registered for the free trial, but the company requires you to enter your credit card information to complete the registration. After entering your credit card, you can try it for 14 days. However, the software does not work at all. It can't even complete the simplest tasks properly.

When you try to delete your credit card information from your account, you cannot do it because your card is marked as the default card. Also, it asks for a password, but I registered using Google authentication and did not set a password. Therefore, I do not know the password, and I cannot remove my credit card information.

There is no contact page on the site, and there is no online support window. There isn’t even an email address for support listed on the site. There is no section within the software to create a support request either.

This software is a money trap designed to deceive people. I do not recommend registering for it in any way.

The software does not work and customer support does not respond.

Might be "easy" for an IT guy but I spent several hours trying to scrape one basic site without success. Any support is for paying customers. If I could have had any success I would have subscribed

Worst Company, I am surprise this company has not been taken to court, they are scamming all there customers that have any issues with their products. Buyer Beware. Boycott this Company.

Octoparse proved to be an effective tool for web scraping. I utilized it to extract data from Amazon product pages across hundreds of URLs.

Platform is good, just didn't suit my needs.
They were prompt in issuing a refund, grateful.

It was one of the simpler software I tested.
Update lagged for any missing features.
Support wasn't very responsive.

It's now not needed because of GPT AI, but compared with other scraping methods besides AI, it's easier.

Ce que j'ai le plus apprécié chez Octoparse, c'est son interface utilisateur simple d'utilisation. Même sans une expertise approfondie en programmation, j'ai pu facilement naviguer à travers les différentes fonctionnalités et créer des tâches de web scraping, habituellement ce genre de logiciel n'est pas évident à utiliser mais là c'était plutôt simple !

En tout cas beaucoup plus simple que le faire à la main...

no data export if you use their free templates, you have to learn how to create your own scrapper if you want to retrieve the data.

WARNING, DANGER WILL ROBINSON!!! If a company can't offer you a free platform service of their product WITHOUT a.) giving you a time limitation (extremely limited in this case) and b.) b for the 'BIG' one, wanting your credit card / bank account info to get that so-called free access. run for the hills!! DO NOT give them ANY access to your financials until they have EARNED that information with full unlimited FREE usage of a product that makes you want their paid for serves.

I was in need of a large amount of data from a website that was complicated to retrieve. Though the information is available for public consumption there isn't functionality to download or export the volume of data I needed. I tried Octoparse understanding it could likely retrieve what I needed, but even though there was no coding involved (which is a huge benefit), I imagined there would be a learning curve to create the custome process I would require to reach and then retrieve the data desired. I was correct, that even though I came close, I was missing a step or two to successfully complete my task. I was very pleased with the support received even though I wasn't on a paid plan. I asked a few questions throughout the week and various individuals lent a hand. An individual named Evan was my most consistent contact and made me feel that we would achieve the final result I was hoping for, which we did in a shorter amount of time than expected. To top it off he made me truly feel that if there was anything else I needed, to never hesitate to reach out, and not once was I pushed a service plan. They were merely legitimately there to help, maybe with the confidence they have in their product, knowing those that need will grow into what they need when the time is right. Having given Octoparse a test run with a real world necessity gave me the opportunity to experience their great platform and service. Thank you so much Octoparse. You came through where no one else did.
